Kay, this is the most inspiring video I've watched of yours. This is your gift. I'm 62, doing my very best to age gracefully, naturally. In 2015 I lost my 25 year old son in an accident, but just a few days afterwards I was able to meet the driver who hit him and God allowed me to hug and forgive the young man. It was such a powerful moment in my life. I love how you outlined all of these 10 suggestions and I plan on writing each scripture down and working on them this year. Please continue making amazing, inspirational videos such as this one. Some of us are not as concerned with fashion, etc, but try to focus on our inner strength and beauty. You are a beautiful and wise woman! God bless you!!
That kind of grace is truly amazing and God-glorifying, Elaine. Thank you so much for sharing that. I cannot imagine the grief of losing your son like that. But to know that God graced you with the ability to forgive the other man is just so inspiring. Bless you. ❤
So sorry for your loss. I lost my son in 2015 at 29 years old. ❤
Thank you Aya. I am so sorry for the loss of your dear son. May God bless and comfort you. Sending prayers, hugs@@AyaSmith-rb2hp
So sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine the grief of losing a son. Forgiving the other man will go a long way in your healing. Praying for you as you walk the steps of grief.
I hope that your willingness to share/post your story will encourage others.
So sorry for your loss but thank you for sharing xoxox
Hi Kay. I had to send you a note to tell you something funny. I discovered your channel a few months back. I’m 74 and decided to try the city lips you were talking about. I don’t mind my wrinkles but I don’t like the fine lines around my mouth. So I got the clear lip plumper and the city lips oil to put on at bedtime. Now my lips have never been full, they are quite thin, and I don’t expect any product to make them get fuller. Here’s the thing, since using the city lips I have noticed the lines around my mouth are less noticeable. Which is wonderful….the funny part is, my husband always kisses me goodnight 8 times. Seriously! So the lip oil gets on his lips, which he doesn’t mind, he always uses his “lip balm”….chap stick…so after he kisses me his 8 times, I get out of bed and put on a little more city lip oil and come back to bed….where he promptly gives me another kiss goodnight. Needless to say his lips are nice and smooth and moist too. I can’t see his upper lip though because he has a moustache.😂
Just had to tell you this funny story. Love your videos! ❤
Thank you for being so lovely and kind in a world that is generally not.
You are sunshine on my phone! That blue you’re wearing is outstanding but I also really love your gentle way of sharing ideas and teaching new ways of looking at ourselves. Thank you for being YOU!
That’s very kind of you. Thanks so much. 🥰
Thank you Kay. The Bible is indeed the greatest Book ever. Best wishes from 🇬🇧
Indeed it is. Thank you for watching. ❤
Like you I am a February 1964 baby getting ready to turn 60 in a few days. I am also an Ohioan and your sister in Christ. I appreciated your segment on how at this age our bodies are showing their wear. We have traveled a long way through this life, and some of the roads were not paved. It made us who we are. I also appreciated your segment about wisdom. I have discovered in the last year or so that the generation below me has begun to look to and listen to me for wisdom. I never thought I would be at the place where I feel I have wisdom to share and pass along to those who have not yet traveled this far in life. It’s actually humbling. Best to you and happy 60th birthday this month to both of us!
What a blessing you are! Your gracious words and honest advice are so appreciated. May we all strive for this inner and outer beauty.
Thank you so much! ☺️
OH KAY💗 The video today is probably my most favorite of all. You captured a lot of great points and speak to each of us in different ways as we age. Thank you for this video today and blessed be the Lord.
Thank you so much!! Those are kind comments. 🥰
AMEN, Sister---God's word helps through each season of our lives. Read and obey are the key components to a contented life. Each time my body reminds me that I am getting older, I just thank the Lord that I am closer to GLORY! By the way, the powder blue looks lovely.
Thank you for sharing. 💙
Thanks, Kay! We get so caught up these days with beauty products, clothing, and just overall how we look, that we forget about being beautiful on the inside as well. It’s a wonderful reminder that we need to work on both. I also love your references to the scriptures. The Bible is the source of all knowledge that we need to live by. And by the way, you look beautiful in that color! Keep doing what you’re doing, it helps so many.
You are so welcome! 💕
Oh the blue is beautiful! Your hair is also fabulous
Oh thank you! 😊 💙
AMEN KAY!! Thank you for sharing your faith. I agree with everything you said. GOD BLESS YOU !!
Thanks for listening 💕
You are so beautiful inside and out. Indeed, you are a beautiful woman in every way. Thank you for this inspiring video to remind us that we still have purpose in our winter years. Your VB blazer is so flattering on you and makes your blue eyes pop!
That color blue makes you sparkle like a snowflake in the sunlight.
Such a beautiful video. I’m always amazed at how the Bible is so relevant in every area of our lives. Laughingly, I know that 5 years from today, I will look back and remember this 74 year old body as “awesome.” That reflection happens about every 5 years. lol. I agree with all your wise words today. God bless
Absolutely!! 🥰
My favorite video you’ve ever shared! It is so true and much needed for all of us. Loving the Lord, reading his word and applying it in our lives changes our hearts and makes us more beautiful.
This was a much needed pep talk both physically and spiritually,
That color of blue looks stunning on you! It goes great with your eyes!
I love to read my Bible daily. It makes me beautiful inside which can transfer outwardly.
I just found you on UA-cam and has blessed me thus far! Thank you!
so true! God's Word is food for our soul!
Thank you for this video and most of all the biblical truth about aging.
You’re so welcome. Thanks for watching. ❤
So true about the power of forgiveness!
Indeed. Thanks for sharing. 💕
I love the Bible too❣️ Read it everyday❤ Thank you for this lovely reminder🥰 The best 10 tips to date💝
Very inspiring video. “The grass withers and the flowers fade, but the Word of God stands forever” thank you!!❤
Yes! Thank you! 😊
Oh Kay, Great advice! I recently saw "The Chosen" Season 4 Episodes 1-3 in the theater and Jesus said that there is no peace when two of my followers show resentment in their hearts toward one another. This reminded me of your tip 9. You are such a blessing!
Thank you for sharing. 💙
Wonderful video! Thank you Kay. I love that you provided a scripture reference for each point!
Kay - Great ideas - ALL of them! Your hair is beautiful - when I decided to go gray - I got highlights but they were platinum and it made the transition SO easy! The new growth just blended in seamlessly. The biggest change in going gray were the changes I had to make in my wardrobe colors and makeup (so many colors I wore before now made me look "washed out"). Thanks for all you do and God Bless You!
Okay I believe this is one of my favorite videos. It doesn't matter how expensive a woman's wardrobe is. If she is not beautiful from the inside she's not going to pull it off. Beauty truly does begin on the inside.
This was a beautiful and insightful video. You also look very beautiful in that stunning blue blazer and ribbed top. I think all of us over 50 can relate to the aging changes we are experiencing. We need to age with grace and contentment. Thank you Kay.
Wow. I feel like I just listened to a sermon, and I mean that in the best way possible. If you were my pastor I’d go to church every week. Thanks for this uplifting talk and reminding us that beauty from within shows outwardly.
Btw, by working out regularly with weights I find that my changing body can actually be better and stronger than my younger self. It’s never too late to start.
Well done! Thank you for the reminder of what is truly beautiful at any age.
Posts like this are so inspiring and encouraging thank you for sharing Kay. I always look forward to Wednesday.
I'm so glad! Thank you for watching. 💕
Thank you for speaking of your faith... Thanks for the videos
You are inspiring and very informative. I just can’t afford what you are wearing.
Thank you so much!! You are a beautiful woman, starting whit your heart. God bless you!!
Thank you Kay for your inspirational words.
You are a beautiful person inside and out.
God bless you!
We are so fortunate in this channel to call you our sister in Christ 🙏
I’m so glad you enjoyed it. Thanks so much for your support. It means a lot to me. 😊
Thank you Kay for a timely message given with such GRACE! I 100 % agree that wisdom doesn't come with age. I have worked my whole life with elders or people who had significant challenges both mentally, physically or intellectually. When it's all been said and done it is only our character that will shine through and go to heaven with us. Being a Christian, I know that I am nothing without the Holy Spirit working in me to smooth off those rough ages THAT come with age and by faith hopefully make me into a gracious elder who can point the way in life by my actions and reactions and not many words. Blessings to you and your family! xo Dawn from Vancouver Canada
Absolutely. Thanks so much for sharing, Dawn. 🥰
Amen sister, to the good news of sharing Jesus.
I’m so glad you enjoyed it. Thanks so much for leaving a comment. 🥰
Beautiful! Thank you for the encouragement this morning! God Bless 😇
You are so welcome 🤗
What a beautiful message you bring! Your videos are from your heart.
Thank you so much! 😊
In this instagrammy age and the awful news bombarding us from every angle, this was was so lovely and calming to watch....
Thank you. That is high praise. I’m grateful for you ladies. 🥰
❤You look amazing in that color, so beautiful!
Oh thank you! 💙
It is a big color for spring. Yes, it suits Kay well.
Your message really hit home today. My husband has chemical damage to his lungs and we are waiting this week to find out if he qualifies for the transplant list. We are grateful for machines that allow us as normal a life as possible. We don’t like how our bodies are changing either. However we live each day the Lord gives us together to the level possible.
Thank you so much for incorporating scripture into this weeks' post. It's always refreshing to my spirit to see how God says I should act, think, respond and present myself to others. I do hope you continue to openly share nuggets of wisdom and truth from His Word in future posts!
Prov 4:7
What a wonderful video and delivered so beautifully! When we see ourselves through the framework of the Bible and the gospel it changes everything. Thank you!
Yes! Thank you! ☺️
Thank you for your encouraging style, you do a fantstic job. xo
Thank you so much. 😊
Thank you Kay for this encouraging video and all the tips and for using God's Word. You are lovely inside and out.😊
Thank you. That is very kind. ❤
Love this positive and encouraging video. We as older women have so much to share with and exemplify for younger women.
Thanks for this morning's presentation. For me it has been the most inspiring based on the 10 important reminders, along with the corresponding biblical scriptures. Also being a woman of faith you had my undivided attention. I will frequently refer to this presentation.
Wonderful! That is so kind. 💕
Kay - love you in that blue but I love even more your wise advice to us to age well in our spirit. I often tell myself as I try to accept a new wrinkle or pain that someday I may be wrinkled and bent up but I can still be a "toothless wonder". My spirit and true loveliness will shine. Thanks for these tips.
You are so beautiful inside and out and thank you for all your tips on life and style and your faith. You are a blessing. Amen to reading the Bible and having faith and tips at looking at ourselves within. Love the blazer and top you are wearing in the monochromatic look. This blue is beautiful on you. I have the similar blazer in Talbots that you linked and love it!
Thank you so much! Wonderful about the blazer. I tried it on and found it to be really nice. I hope you enjoy it. 💙
This was such a beautiful way to start the day and to be inspired! ❤
So glad! 🥰
Wonderful! Thanks for reminding us about true beauty and its source as defined by the Good Book ❤
Just love the Me&Em clothing line. Thank you for introducing us to this line of clothing!
Kay, I so appreciate what you shared. You are a light - thank you!
You are such a bright light! I love your message and wardrobe advise! Thank you for this. ☀️
Thank you so much! 😊
Thank you, Kay!!! What good news!!!! There is so much wonder in this world, it seems to me there will never be enough time to explore all it's beauty. I have spent 77 years here on earth and my greatest joys are my relationships, my relationship with Jesus Christ, and my relationship with all those who have crossed my path. My husband, children, grandchildren, and the friendships of a lifetime bring such joy, such strength. Thank you again for reminding us of those things which are our greatest treasures.
Kay Harms, you are a wise woman!! I like what you do so much.
My personal opinion is that this is a great video! Kay you gave us so many wisdom tips that we can practically apply and live. Thank you for your heart and your love of God!
I'm so glad! 🥰
So important to guard our hearts & minds, too. What we see & hear has huge impact. We can have boundaries around what we expose ourselves to. The more I watch videos like yours, with women who embrace their real age, I am less likely to compare myself to a standard that is unrealistic for myself. Thank you, Kay, for such a thoughtful, wise, encouraging video.♥️🇨🇦
I love this video I love how graceful and beautiful you are. I love the Great Book you allude to throughout this video. What a beautiful way to spread the Gospel of Jesus! We love you. This video has left me emotional as I can apply every single point to my life. Praying for God to continue to give you this platform to help other women, earn a living, and be a beacon of light for Christ!
Love the color that you’re wearing in your opening. So flattering!
This was so interesting, Kay,I can identify myself in your gracious words. Thanks for that. It sounds so encouraging.
Glad it was helpful! 🤗
Thank you Kay. Your message was delivered with truth and charm and hits the mark so well.
I appreciate all you do and especially this video - this Wednesday we lost a relative we have been caring for over the past few months - in light of this loss I worried I would think this video would seem shallow to me at this time when I saw the title but also felt the need for diversion after what I had been going through, so I was so glad to see you touch on the serious issues we live through as we age and the experience we gain, plus the wisdom of the Bible in our lives as we get older.
Thanks Kay, this was lovely! I just turned 71 two days ago and in this youth culture I need to remember that my age is all right. As a long term cancer survivor I know every day is a gift and the body I have is ok too! It’s gets me where I want to go and supports the things I need and want to do. God loves us just the way we are and that is the most important thing.
Thanks, Kay!
Literally getting to the heart ❤️ of beauty! Great promises from God’s word.
Coming out of 3 years of battling stage 2 breast cancer. I’m on the other side now of which I’m so grateful!
Bless you. 💕
Kay, you are a sweetheart! Thank you for taking us to the Good Book for inspiration!
You are so welcome! Thank you for watching and commenting. 🤗
What a wonderful way to share these 10 Ways to Look More Beautiful. I love the way you tied these to scripture references.
Best ever video!!!! ❤ Thank you so much Kay ❤
I purchased PROVEN 3 months ago and am now waiting for my next order. I also added their new serum to my regimen and I really love these products. They’re also very easy to travel with because they fit nicely into the bag required by airlines. Thanks, Kay, for letting us know about these products a few months ago; glad I took a chance and ordered them!
Thanks so great to hear. Thanks for sharing and letting me know. And thank you for watching the video. 🥰
So well said!! Absolutely loved this!! ❤
Wise words Kay! Thank you for the reminders.
Just lovely...and exactly what i needed to hear. Thank you
Love this Kay! Please do more videos like this.
Thank yoy so much! A keeper to listen to again and again for its inspiration, wisdom, and positivity. Hugs to you. ❤
Such a great message. I needed this gentle reminder.
WOW!!! Awesome video! Thank you so much for sharing💖.
Dear Kay, so many of your suggestions stike me and I have to admit that since turning 50 really notice a drop in energy level- and I am putting it mildly...But, you are so right- we should be grateful for our ageing bodes, specially if nothing hurts in the morning 😂.
Also, I cut all the toxic people from my life! Life is so beautiful and so short- don't spend it gossiping or worse being jealous. Thank you for your hard work 💜
Such an inspiring message! I so appreciate it and will take it to heart❤️
Thank you for this video! I love everything about it.❤
This is brilliant Kay. Thank you.
This was a beautiful and inspiring video. Thanks Kay
You are such an inspiration Kay!! This was so good and very timely❤
Thank you for such wonderful uplifting suggestions. I really needed to hear that today.
Thank you Kay❤
I enjoy all your videos but this one really touched me. I want to share with my women’s group. Thank you and God bless.
Thank you for the wonderful Biblical advice. It works for everyone. Excellent video todayI🙏🏽❤
You are so welcome. 🤗 I am grateful for you ladies. 🥰
I appreciate hearing that you are not coloring your Gray .. Because that is also my personal choice,.. Once I got used to the beginning stages of transitioning I Became comfortable enough with it to do the same letting it gradually go Gray,.. for one thing it costs a lot of money to keep your hair colored or highlighted and to maintain it,.. I'm on a budget and it just wasn't priority,.. And I have seen a number of ladies who have gone naturally gray who tan easily out in the sun, And have bronzy type skin tone and i Personally think that skin tone looks really good with natural grey hair,.. But even though I chose to go natural Gray I also Did an update on hairstyles which has been Something I've really enjoyed in the last 5 years or so... So I'm cheering you on Kay🙂
I needed this so badly. Thank you.
Wonderful and encouraging video!
Will actually listen to it one more time!
Thank you. I’m so glad you enjoyed it. 😊
I recently came across your UA-cam channel and am really glad I did. This message is a blessing.
This is a wonderful video. Thank you so much for sharing this. You look beautiful in the light blue!
Kay, what an inspiring post! Thank you and God bless you as you have blessed all of us
Such wise, beautiful suggestions, Kay! The Bible is the best resource for any aspect of life I know. Thank you for the references, too. I treasure this video. ❤
That was lovely, Kay. I agree on all points. I have belonged to this athletic club for about 25 years. The same people have been there all these years, and we are all getting older and some of us, can't do this class, or that tennis game anymore. But that is OK, we are all in the same boat and we all lift each other up and are happy to chat before or after class. No one is a downer or complainer. I expect that is because we are all getting some exercise and happy to be together doing it. We are mostly a happy sociable group, although we do know something about each other's lives, injuries and travels. The first and only time I was ever jealous was in 8th grade when a very attractive girl I thought was about to take away my current boyfriend. And then I thought, so what if she did, who cares, she can have him if he wants to go. He never did, and that was the last time that I felt jealousy. And eventually she and I became friends. Jealousy is such a useless emotion. My husband is a pessimist which drives me crazy. I can't understand why he can't be more grateful and happy at what we do have or what he has achieved in this life. Sometimes, the people who need to write down their gratitude's are the ones not doing it. It would do him good to keep a gratitude journal even for a week. Thanks, Kay, for those thoughts.
Beautiful message! Thank you!
You are so welcome 🤗
This was an amazing video and just right for me at the moment, thank you.
Encouraging in so many ways
I’m so very glad. ❤
Such wonderful reminders, Kay! Thank you!
You are so welcome! 🤗
