Ach now you’re making me justify the little I remember from doctor who twitter 😂, it might not have been called season 6B by 1986, but fans were already theorising about the five doctors Jamie/Zoe problem and it seems like Holmes intended for the story to take place after the war games, with them being on a mission from the time lords and troughton’s wig.
Troughton famously wasn't wearing a wig in The Two Doctors - he was supposed to, but it got lost in the shipment of items going to the location in Spain, so that's all his own hair. But yeah, nobody seemed to think of dyeing it at the time...

Season 6B would further allow for the theory that Jo Martin's Doctor could be between Troughton and Pertwee since she says she was working for the Time Lords like 2nd was and her TARDIS has the classic era interior. Could then have Jo Martin appear at the end of the comic The Night Walkers going into her adventures.
I didn’t see much of classic who and don’t even plan on doing so, your canon vids are even more funnier when I have no idea wtf are you talking about at aLL
I'm fine with season 6 b. It would make sense especially if Time Lords from after his trial simply plucked him out of his timeline moments before his exile. Sort of like how Clara was taken from the moment before her death. It of course doesn't make sense if the Time Lords who passed judgement suddenly changed their minds for a bit. Maybe the Time Lords from "The Three Doctors" didn't send him right back, and instead had him work on side projects first.
8:34 I mean, the Twelfth Doctor was still at the University before his adventure with Missy in World Enough and Time. It would probably be pretty awkward if she ended up back there in her new regeneration.
It's weird because well eventually bill shows up. There again through water space lesbian magic Do you think she has to explain the disappearance of Everybody's favorite professor
9:50 You know, I was about to jump into the comments and talk about how great this story is... Before I realised that Ancient Whispers from The Centenarian isn't even the same story as the one I had read. There's multiple short stories where the 3rd Doctor gets lost on the way back to UNIT HQ while dying and needs to solve a mystery apparently.
I don't go into it here, but 7B actually has them either travelling with Victoria OR the timelords tricking Jamie into thinking they've still just dropped Victoria off for bit.

Anyone else remember when The 5th Doctor popped up in TARDIS while 10 was repairing it? The explanation for his advanced age in that moment is implied to because the two different times within the TARDIS fused together, causing 5 and 10 coexist within the TARDIS at the same time. I've never figured out why they don't just roll with that explanation for previous Doctors being older in other multiple Doctor stories. "Goodness! I've aged! I'm not meant to pulled out of my time in this fashion!" It's still a wonky explanation, but at least it doesn't kill the continuity.
Was your's as shit as mine? My dad invited 20 people instead of 10, everyone got drunk, and my friends left out of embarrassment. But I got a 100 Greatest Movie Bucket List, which you scratch off when you've seen a movie. That's pretty cool.
Season 6b is the motherfu##ing bomb! More Troughton! More fun! World games is a grrrrrreat read. His Three Doctors appearance is totally also a 6b explanation.
Who knows the many face's of a time lord is it 12 regeneration or 12 hundred for one reality the secret is held inside the matrix and who is the Doctor a little old man who stole a time machine with someone he called his grand daughter this is canon-matrix present(for the first Dr), there's definitely something uncanon in the mix either the timeline and time lords have be messing the origin of the first and second doctors regenerations or someone else I will say either Omega or Davros and the Great Intelligence who did mess the timeline up of every doctor so its possible of the Master is more likely but which one? Who's the real planner of the timeless regeneration effect?
Why? Planet of the Spiders is possibly my least favourite Pertwee story (yes I like the Time Monster, yes I know the machine is called TOMTIT) but that final scene is beautiful. Why do you have to ruin it?
@Najawin @Ben Warburton I remember RTD in Doctor Who Magazine comparing the War in Heaven and Time War with World War 1 and World War 2 happening within decades of each other. He does also sometimes call it The Last Great Time War, which I always took as a nod to both the BBC Books as well as the Vampire War and lots of other Time Lord incursions. Still, it can't be the same Time War because Alien Bodies says the Enemy is not the Daleks. I think the Time War is plausibly something that happened independently, both Miles and RTD were influenced by the epic war American sci-fi dramas of the time, Babylon 5 for Miles and BSG for RTD. If there is any Miles influence in New Who, it is Steven Moffat, who said on the now defunct Outpost Gallifrey website, which no longer exists, that Alien Bodies was one of his favorite novels and he doesn't know why Miles harasses him online. I think you can feel its influence on The Pandorica Opens, the S6 arc, Name of the Doctor especially, and Time of the Doctor. I don't know about the rest of Miles' work; Miles tells a possibly apocryphal account that Moffaf told him once "You are just bitter you will never write anything as good as Alien Bodies and deep down you know it." If true, I doubt Interference et. all had an influence and except maybe Name of the Doctor, I don't think any of them outright rip it off... but I do think Alien Bodies' combination of grandscale mythology with frequent jumps in the timeline and constant humor, in a Doctor Who story ABOUT the Doctor as opposed to an unrelated adventure he stumbles upon, opened Moffat's eyes to the different ways you can tell Doctor Who stories.
Patreon takes a cut of donations, is really unstable and screwed its creators over a lot in the last few years. Plus Patreon is more suited for monthly subscription models, whereas I think my stuff is more worth a 'pay what you like' approach.

May I ask if you know if the blog you're talking about is still up somewhere? I'm having difficulty finding it.
Also, I just watched his War Games edit, and I know it was made in 2009, but come on! I need to make a fan edit of this fan edit now where Peter Capaldi's picture is used instead of Richard Hurndall! :)
@DAVIS Do you have any broke canon on specific villains planned?
I get so distracted by these ones, but I'm playing around with scripts for The Silence, Ood(?), the year of 1963 and the Daleks(!!!!!) ideally by New Years to coincide with the special.
@@SamyulDavis Just out of curiosity how messed up would you say the Master's timeline is compared to everything else? Cause I think his is the only one I almost have a complete picture of
Oh god, I despair to look. He is an individual as opposed to a species with ambiguously changing designs, so maybe it'd be fairly simple!
@@SamyulDavis He has about 3 different origins, turned back into the crispy master twice after Ainley. Things definitely get the most complex around the TV movie- Time War part where there's about 5 incarnations. Can only imagine what he was doing during the War in Heaven.
Oh another broke canon video- the Master spent a century as a gangster and called himself "Don Maestro" ...actually that sounds pretty normal tbh
Oh and the Toymaker. That should be a fun one to quickly knock out.
"During the Death in Heaven.."
Do you mean War in Heaven?

Have you read 'the lonelyness of a long distance time traveller'? If not, do it now!
Is that a play on Tower Crane Driver?
@@nightowl8477 no idea but its a good book.
Pat was and remains very popular with the fanbase. Simply put -demand for more stories creates commercial opportunities. And why not. So much better than the current trash from the BBC. Live long Pat 😃😃😃
"Goodness! I've aged! I'm not meant to pulled out of my time in this fashion!"
It's still a wonky explanation, but at least it doesn't kill the continuity.
Fuuuck the continuity for such petty magic-ruining explanations like that
1:00 You can't tell me that Tom Baker Dinosaur Book isn't canon.
It is! In The Kingmaker, 5 says that 4 had a book deal and wrote children's info books under the pen name 'Dr Who'
@@SamyulDavis I mean, if there was a Doc to write children's books, It'd be 4. Or 11. Can possible see late stage Capaldi penning a few as well...

It may result in hallucinations
Season 6b is the motherfu##ing bomb! More Troughton! More fun! World games is a grrrrrreat read. His Three Doctors appearance is totally also a 6b explanation.
We are 7 minutes in and only now hit fact 2. Wow.
Wurzel Gummidge's revenge
Season 6B, as long as I'm concerned, isn't canon, but Devious is. 😌
Worzel Gummidge killed the 2nd doctor
Uncle terry 😂
Worzel !!! No !!!!
Why? Planet of the Spiders is possibly my least favourite Pertwee story (yes I like the Time Monster, yes I know the machine is called TOMTIT) but that final scene is beautiful. Why do you have to ruin it?
Don't worry, it gets retroactively restored in a future story (The Ancestor Cell) so Planet of the Spiders' events still happened
@@englishgiraffe2124 That was written by a different writer, was Miles okay with that being undone?
@Najawin Yeah that was a stupid question. Is there anything Miles hasn't accused of plagiarism?
@Najawin And in the case of the revival it did sort of nick the War in Heaven and turn it into the Time War. Didn't RTD insist he hadn't heard of it?
I don't know about the rest of Miles' work; Miles tells a possibly apocryphal account that Moffaf told him once "You are just bitter you will never write anything as good as Alien Bodies and deep down you know it."
If true, I doubt Interference et. all had an influence and except maybe Name of the Doctor, I don't think any of them outright rip it off... but I do think Alien Bodies' combination of grandscale mythology with frequent jumps in the timeline and constant humor, in a Doctor Who story ABOUT the Doctor as opposed to an unrelated adventure he stumbles upon, opened Moffat's eyes to the different ways you can tell Doctor Who stories.
WTF wasn't "Doctor Who and the Space Pirates"a real story?
Set up patreon!! I’d love to fund this 😅
I have a Ko-fi which is better! Its in the description :)
@@SamyulDavis why is KO-FI better?
Patreon takes a cut of donations, is really unstable and screwed its creators over a lot in the last few years. Plus Patreon is more suited for monthly subscription models, whereas I think my stuff is more worth a 'pay what you like' approach.
