It's his own business. No paid for promotional. That's completely legit. It's not like he's selling Factor microwave dinners. That would be a different story.
I am speaking honestly here, but this video was a commercial with about 3 to 4 min about the flight. The videos lately have not been like before, non adventurous and on sales. You tell us in this video that you do not like and make youtube much, but actually that was your bread and butter for years and honestly how you gained so many followers like me. There has been no update about the TBM and other things you mentioned in previous videos just have not been brought up again. Videos are far and few between anymore. I have been a faithful follower for years but am very discouraged and disappointed these last months.
I'm sure he plans to do a video fully explaining the TBM story. I'm pretty sure he is temporarily "constrained" to do so at the moment and a major editing project as well.
I generally like Matt's content, and I gave this one a thumbs up, too, but I kind of felt like Ralphie, who, after decoding Pierre's secret message from Annie using his special decoder, found that it was just a 'crummy commercial."
Agree with the comments suggesting that this was an long advert. But I did find the "radar contact lost" section to be really useful. I've always wondered what that looked like in practice.
Finally you are back with the video content, I loved you for, Matt : You and your stunning flights/adventures with your terrific Bonanza 😍 But sadly enough I have to give right to my co-commentators : Too much advertising😔 You did. not need that up to now😔
I’m down in Casper Wyoming. If you haven’t done it yet try landing at the Buffalo airport. Or the Sheridan airport. Both have amazing views of the mountains. Plus some great restaurants in a beautiful downtown area for both.
Thanks for putting your videos out Matt. Really enjoy them. I'm trying to do my own here in Australia. Id love to know how you get so many subscribers.
Man! What happened to Matt? Even though I unsubscribed, I pop in every now and then to see if there’s anything interesting. Nope. The old Matt is gone and it’s a shame. I guess nothing lasts forever.
The $50/mo (or cheaper as an add-on) mini roam plan was great for GA. Too bad that's all over in a week and you need a $250/month plan to work >100mph.
Not really bothered by the app commercial but most UA-camrs would put a disclaimer in at the start. I think Matt should do a video ON the app to explain it, his involvement, how it was developed and where it's going.
It was shown near the beginning of the video how much the straight tail bonanza yaws when you were in some light turbulence. So the argument continues....low wing vs high wing. I have a Cessna P-210N and is much more stable in rough weather. I still love your videos.
Was really looking forward to seeing some Bonanza content. I’m happy to see you branching out, creating new things, but holy crap. This was a little much for advertising.
Starlink has real potential for GA and boats, which is why it was such a crime that they were talking 15-20k$ a month nonsense when they first offered for aircraft. It's so obvious for aircraft makers to intergrate a starlink in the design. If they could make a thin slightly curved version for aircraft that would be great. Maybe even a kind of tape version that's just glued on top. I believe the science allows for that. fiberglass planes can have the antenna under but metal and carbon fiber are no good. Your audio sounds rather distorted, radio is one thing but direct mic should be decent.
I only watch you on UA-cam. I truly miss your restaurant reviews at the rural airports ❤ I speak fondly of your past adventures sharing your love of aviation and travel ❤🤔👍🤙🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 thank you for taking the time to share your passions 🙏👍🤙🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Really excited about using StarLink in the plane. A game changer. Also the idea of using multiple of their little satellites for even better accuracy than GPS is amazing. Watching that development, and wondering how the FAA will throw a wrench in the works. Way cool about the system that can go to smaller airports. And of course, how can we not love one minute weather.
No, got any videos I can watch that would vaguely illustrate its usefulness 4 min after the youtube starts his video then continually state how great it is for the next 15 min?
@@imEthanDeVries well darn, if you happen to find one, let me know. I'd love to spend an insane amount of money to purchase an app. Sure my mortgage payments can be delayed, its not like the bank will take the house if I explained to them, “Its for an app!”.

No bull. I really look forward to Matts adventures. It motivates me to be a better person. I am an almost 2 year old A&P mechanic working at the majors looking at Matt like this guy is his own boss, and i want to learn how to get to that level or better. He looks very content in life. Congratulations on your success oneday. I hope to get the chance to fly with you or alongside you. Keep kicking ass and achieving new heights in life.
Have you looked into Starlink Mini as a WIFI device that can fit into any aircraft when needed? Draws low power so it does not require to be connected to the aircraft's electrical system, run it off a power bank. In Hayley Herberg's latest video, she ferries a new aircraft and has a Starlink Mini active during the flight.
Why are people so controversial and down right rude. It's a way of life to succeed and have more and more potential. Matt your great I appreciate you. Onward 🌈 to life in prosperity.
You could mail your phone and he can start a live stream as he’s walking up to the plane ✈️ and turn it off as he’s walking away. Just a start and stop no edit!
People get tired of watching that part each flight, so it's edited. You obviously don't get to see every detail in an edited video. It's so tiresome to see these complaining comments every time, get a life.
That was a very long commercial for an app.
Yes, but neither boring or ineffective.
It's his own business. No paid for promotional. That's completely legit. It's not like he's selling Factor microwave dinners. That would be a different story.
Yes. A bit overkill and tried the app not sure what it really does that 4Flight 😂 doesn’t

I agree! they get a few bucks and then no vids or just random. I don't want to here you sell me something so you can make money.

I'm sure it's a great app, but I felt like I was watching one of those hour-long info-mercials that you used to get on TV at 1am.
Isn’t it wild how streaming’s come full circle?
How do you get around the 100mph speed limit for starlink as the bonanza would be going faster than that in cruise so wouldn’t be usable.
