Very helpful. I usually start in the center as well, but good to know there is a way to easily start from the outside. I think I need one of those 3-inch squares.

Thank you for these tutorials, they are great. I'm new at all of this, haven't done a cross stitch before. I had a question, if you have covered it before just direct me to the video to watch or if you are going to cover in future video. What does it mean when a pattern says, use one strand of floss over two linen threads?
