    Hi! A DT user here. nice video and good edition. I just discovered this channel in yt recommendations. Good to see new faces in this youtube world :). There are some things that I noticed though that might help others:
    -each project has 8 banks, not 4.
    -"control all": I noticed that you pressed "func+no", after unholding the trk button. which actually reload the pattern to the temporarily saved state. but if you just press "no" while still holding the trk button, it just come back to the state before you pressed the trk button.

    there are many videos about tips for using the Digitakt live, but that's the first i saw from the perspective of a one-person-band that's not purely electro, techno, or house.
    i think you gave a great overview.
    i think you purpousely only talked about the easier and more relatable stuff about this box. the only thing i definitely also add to "important tipps" is the FILL BTN (used with trig conditions), because with different fill options you can make nice trasitions, and you could also potentially double the amout of patterns in a bank.
    maybe parameter locking wouldn't be too hard to explain, either

    Thank you for your very clear (and sassy) explanations! I've been looking into getting the digitakt but I'm a bit wary of the slightly less intuitive sequencer after using a Novation Circuit for a few years (and now the Tracks). From what I've read so far, the lack of song mode is more than made up for in the creative ways that samples can be remade into all kinds of things. And, of course, the notoriously great Elektron sound qaulity.

    Can you record vocals into a digitakt? Can you produce full albums on one of these?

    • @ukbloke28
      @ukbloke28 3 місяці тому +1

      max sample length is 33 secs. also storage space is somewhat limited. its designed mostly with 1 shots in mind rather than extended samples. so it depends what you mean by vocals - short vocal chops, yes. whole verses/songs its not so ideal.

    • @MADITRONIQUE
      @MADITRONIQUE  Місяць тому +1

      I think you can get record vocals in, but you need to convert your mic signal to a jack lead, I’ve never done it, personally. Don’t see why you couldn’t do a whole album, you can save loads of separate projects / songs. 😊
