Caught me a nice 5+pounder large mouth off my old standby 7" senko with rattle sealed inside. Lethal combination as well as 7" Berkeley power worms, some days that's just your best bet for action.
I get alot of bites on the moon juice and the blue craw when im needing to imitate a gill. But I especially love the Bama craw, its my go to and fav'. Thanks for sharing and the tips.
Agreed...I remember watching Glen as an adolescent on ESPN early Saturday mornings along with Bill, Roland, Jimmy,FLW ,etcetera...I always liked his little video clips cause they were most relevant for me-right to the point on topics: short, simple, &sweet.
My fav 'bottom bouncing' soft plastic. Got all the colors. I like to fish them on wobbleheads. Like the googan bug too, but the sk rage bug will always be my fav.
I just started using a strike king rage craw I love it my main lure I use is yums I’ve caught 7 bass on them I’m getting more rage craws and now maybe rage bug
I don't know what it is but pitching these type creature baits I always have such good success and it's a big bass technique. Maybe it's something bass learn over time to enjoy rather than instinctual they learn crawdads are the flavor flavvvvv
On another subject.spinnerbaits...I am missing good bass on spinnerbaits and am using a trailer hook. Even went to an endline spinner. i feel the fish and wonder if they are just hitting the blades and not getting the hook.Any suggestions?
Depends... they could be small fish, or you may need to slow your retrieve, make sure your hooks are well sharpend, could be the line may be strecthing.. use flouro, if you are moving them to fast, use a bait with larger blades to help slow it down. Use a bright trailer giving them a focus point for the strike on the hook. I'm not Glenn, but just some ideas.
If fish are swiping at it, then they're telling you something. Try speeding up and/or slowing down. If that doesn't work, change blade colors. There's more. For my full brain-dump on spinnerbait fishing (one of my confidence baits), watch this: ua-cam.com/video/QPzFmzv-TVo/v-deo.html

Discovered the Rage Bug last summer, love it for flippin.
You got that right! Thanks for watching, eetechTom!
Here kitty,kitty,kitty...that made me chuckle 😆
I tend to always separate the appendages from the body and from each other in the tail section. Are there times when it makes sense not to do that?
When you want less action, such as post-front conditions or cold water.
I caught a ton of fish over the weekend using the Googan baits bandito bug.
Michael Angelo yes except bandito bug is more expensive but I like the way they smell 😂

Good eye! That's a custom spiral-wrapped rod.
@@bassresource that’s actually pretty awesome! What advantages does it have over a traditional style? Any drawbacks?
I caught my pb on that exact bait with a 3/16 oz bullet weight
very informative
I fish with a lot of Lilly pads and weeds
