My Preferred Coating Saver Applicator

- Coating saver applicators have become popular when applying coatings for the main reason of saving product. Some have said they don't save product but from my experience they do save product compared to the traditional suede and block and even a typical microfiber applicator.
All of these applicators have the inner liner to keep them from absorbing the coating into the foam core.
In this video I demonstrate the use of a couple of them. My preferred one is the Autofiber coating saver applicator.

I would like to suggest that Carpro's ceramic coated gloves in orange work very well. Can enter small nooks and crannies
They are good applicators.
My favorite is mckee's block applicator. Glides across the paint and is substantial in your grip. The autofiber one i found i was gripping or squeezing all the time..just my opinion
Use what works that is the way to go. I have one but haven’t tried it. I am not a fan of using coatings with foam.

What are your thoughts on the orange CarPro mitt that comes with Lite? I just bought a pack of them to do my next couple coatings with.
They work well. You will like them.
excited to coat my car with Mohs coming saturday, ordered 2 autofiber style applicators with them.
recommendations on 1 or 2 layers for Mohs evo?
One is fine. Two is optional but you will gain a little more durability with two per Gyeon. I only dud one and it has been doing just fine.
@@MikeGDetailing allright thanks, the i guess 1 thick first coat and seeing how much is left for a second. Detail/coat it every 18 months or so.
Which applicator do you recommend for CanCoat?
The bigger square microfiber applicator if not using the included towel as the applicator. Does not matter if it is a coating saver or not.
Hey mike how long do unopened bottles of coating last on the shelf?
They can last awhile. As long as they don't show signs of crystalizing inside the bottle.

No. Use them right out of the package
I don’t think a round applicator makes any sense at all.
