- Scarlet Briar was the main antagonist of Guild Wars 2 Living Story Season 1. We take a look into her past and analyze her actions in the present.

This video was simply amazing. I've always adored Scarlet - I even have my own, Ceara S Briar. But to hear the lore about her so detailed and together? Amazing. The story, you tell, the visuals and sounds. Amazing.

Yesterday, I learned that living world stories can't be replayed, so I wanted to know the story about the whole Scarlet fiasco. Well done! Also, your ending seems to resemble that Elder Scrolls lore series. "a story for another day"

jeremy fahrni The dragons are not really ranked there are more there own entity and they lead the minions that belong to them. The Zhaitan video should be out next week!!!

Great job on these videos! These are fantastic tools for new and returning players. Even for myself, who has been playing steadily since release, this and the Zhaitan video reminded me of a lot of lore pieces and foreshadowing that I missed the first time around.

Actually it built up season 2 and the Heart of Thorns expansion. Before this we assumed sylvari were incorruptible we saw that with zhaitan, jormag and kralkatorrik, its pretty significant event
Ragucci25 Ceara/Scarlet being manipulated by Mordremoth is quite a surprising revelation to me. I mean when I saw that cutscene on the Breachmaker a year ago, that newly awoken Dragon could just as easily have been one of the other ones, even the yet-to-be-revealed Deep Sea Dragon (thinking twice about that now I reaslize what I thought was nonsense and that it had to be an unknown jungle Dragon, so forget what I wrote before xD). Even the connection Scarlet - Plant - Plant Dragon should have made it obvious to me but somehow I missed that crucial point the whole time, so thank you very much Sir for enlightening me =)

You get each fragment by opening chests in Scarlet's Lair, this content is no longer available and was around during the Origins of Madness patch. Unless you have the keys from the Marionette

At that point I hadn't finished watching the video but I based that off the bit where she said, sylvari don't have to follow their purpose they can do what they choose, kind of like free will and choosing between good and evil. Of course I was referring to humans in real life not the game, don't wanna spoil it explaining more so yeah

It's really hard to understand what you are saying, especially for people whose first language isn't English. Try to speak more clearly in the future, please, and with less of an accent. The video is a great summary, though, for those who didn't participate in the event.
How old is the narrator. He can't even read, much less dramatically. Halting, disjointed with no sense of flow or pacing at all.Get a different narrator next time.
