I met the opposite problem once. *All HP bars at 0* "Why isn't the event ending?" "East didn't kill theirs!" "We thought we were done with the Octovine and we started celebrating!" Needless to say, we failed.
@@Pearlglimmer lmao reminds me of when the opposite happened to us. All sides were done except east (we were with way too few players, under 10 at each side.) east made it in the last 5 seconds and everyone was dumbfounded we had made it with so few people

Why take a break when you are enjoying playing the game. Just play once a week. That is what I do, I play during weekend.
This concert was so fun to prepare for! So many good memories. Also I'm still amazed by the view count! I guess that's what happens when it's uploaded on the official GW2 channel lol

I must admit something: in other games I often muted audio or just music, and put my own playlist on an external music player.
I've never done it in Guild Wars 2.
I never get tired of listening to that beautiful music.
ESO and FFXIV also have a lot of variety in them as well.

I love watching orchestras playing video game music.
I remember going to the Zelda concert in Chicago, it was the best event I ever went to. Video game music is the BEST.
When you get the achievement for defending Tarir a hundred times ... This song 10:25 feels like home at that point XD

There have been multiple concerts featuring music from Skyrim and other Elder Scrolls games
Main Theme and enviromental sound is absolute stunning.
Fight music is terrible tho. I think PoF scores in fightmusic.
@@farhadbeigi8464 Dis be the shittest bump ever, sorry to say HoT's soundtrack was not done by Soule, in-fact past launch he had no involvement in the music, however very talented people took over and created some of the most iconic music for the game.

I remember how upset I was when they announced that they break up with the tradition and jeremy won't make music for the new expac. I remember how stupid I was back then! Saying this though, Attack on Tarir is one of my fav tracks from the soundtrack. I already miss Lena :/

Dookus Maximus I was wondering about that due to some of the intonation problems. Still a very good performance though.
I don't think professionals could have done it better. As Guild Wars 2 is a MMO, every nuance that they added is like a character affecting the world in some small way. So professionals probably would have made it sound to rigid. We shouldn't focus on what the kids aren't and instead focus on what they delivered us (something perfect the way it is).

Since 5 years the best music to study for exams. No text, just relaxing and motivating. I would love another GW2 "in concert" with the best tracks of the base game and all expansions!
Attack on tarir is my most favorite music in HOT, hearing them play it flawlessly gave me chills!

@@Aereton I know this comment is 2 years old now, but you can actually change your character select theme in the settings. I recently changed mine back to HoT and it still hasn't gotten old.

When playing the game you never think of all the work that it takes to create the soundtrack. Watching it being performed like this really makes you realize how much goes into every single track.

Yeah, I find that it really gives you that safe feeling, sort off like a homecoming, up until this point you've been bashing plants for hours already and you really need a moment of complete safety which Tarir offers.

I have to agree, the brass section is a bit iffy throughout but i'm sure they will be amazing with more practice !

Awesome! The music makes the game...gave me a huge thrill...would like a copy for when driving and adventuring in my mind.
I feel sorry for the people who did not like this.... Missing out on the emotion, the journey. If you don't like a form of music, I find it is you who are missing something, not the other way around. Stretch your tastes, you won't be sorry.

As much as I love Soule´s music the HoT soundtrack surpasses the main game music in many respects...This is lovely...
Soule's work is beautiful, but kinda lifeless....then you hear the HOT ost and it have such a boom of life...it really catch the vibes of the jungle and life

Heart of Thorns music is so damn epic. I love main theme and miss it on my chara selection in game
The way they did Attack on Tarir with the Burn Phase portion got me grinning like a mad man. I'm part of a guild that runs the HoT metas as a train and so I always enjoy listening to that track. It's a good motivator. The dire situation and urgency of saving the egg. They completely got that feeling down.

It's 2015, just came home from college, everyone in discord was pumped for the release. Updated the game, got into character selection and 0:25 played along with the new background. Good times.
That theme hyped me up for the revenant as I made him. Good times indeed
it hits so much harder than the other themes, HoT is def the peak of gw2 music and probs the best expantion we have had, ive not been too happy with PoF or EoD
Glint’s Legacy is such an amazing piece . this is my second favorite game soundtrack after the witcher 3 amazing
I haven't actively played GW2 in a few years, but it was my main game during the HoT and PoF era... I have so SO many good memories of HoT (and to this day it remains one of my favourite game experience ever)... this orchestra is making so many memories come back, as well as giving me a new appreciation for the OST, which is so so good. Thank you so much ArenaNet for making this game ! And thanks to the Evergreen Philharmonic for performing this amazing reprise ;o;

@@Berkay-xl4hu WoW mostly has some amazing chill inducing vibes in it's cinematic soundtracks, the zones and other soundtracks have a lot of variety, Felwood has one of the worst ones imo.

This is so freaking epic! I stil come back, even if i'm not playing the game anymore. It's totally a masterpiece and i'd give HoT soundtrack a solid 10/10.

Attack on Tarir is so good, also the best meta, Is so fun and stressful in a good way, winning the meta in a few seconds away from losing it due to south kills very fast, and the other areas must panic, one of the best moments of the game haha

Everything is great but... I like Mordremoth battle theme. I'd really like to hear performed live concert. It brings memories of couple of hours trying to beat him. And damn... That was reaaly hard and cool. Never expexted this difficulty from MMORPG.

Everytime, when you think the Soundtrack cant get MORE Epic in this game...they surprise you ^^ In my opinion the Soundtrack of GW2 is in ONE line with WOW and ESO. But its better used INGAME...Nothing is more Epic as a big ass boss battle with such a Soundtrack...starting with the fight...its damn motivating...really...i love this game ^^

I was in Evergreen Philharmonic when I was in high school, that guy conducting them conducted our '02 orchestra, too!! This is so fantastic!! I played violin, was assistant concert master for my senior year. :D

Gliding through Tarir entrance....Tarir, the Forgotten City plays on the background...while my eyes feast on that Golden esplendor, my ears are overwhelmed by such a beautiful melody...perfect expansion, proud to have experienced that masterpiece - and it's only ONE of the great momments in Maguuma ^^
