Welcome back to another leather crafting tutorial! In this video, we’ll go over the process of making a lovely minimalist card holder by hand using an elegant Saffiano leather in striking green color. This card holder was commissioned by a friend of mine as a gift for her loved one who’s favorite color is green and wanted to replace a worn ID wallet with a much more vibrant option.
Saffiano leather is renowned for its sophistication and durability in withstanding daily use. While classic hues like black and navy blue exude formality, shades such as red, green, and brown offer a delightful versatility. The interplay of these colors with contrasting stitching yields intriguing and refined results.

Many thanks! I'm glad you liked it. Sewing isn't hard; it just takes some time to complete each stitching run, especially if you're working with thinner threads. If you're starting on hand stitching, I suggest trying it out first with some scrap pieces of leather and repeating the exact movement for each stitch while moving forward. This will help you achieve consistent results with each new stitch you make. Good luck!
