For my 12 week course, I've secured 92, 100 & 87% for first 3 assignment. In 4th week assignment secured 35% only. Am I eligible for nptel exam ?
yes. u r eligible. dont worry. there is no problem even if u score 0 in all the assignments. but if u score well in the assignments ur final score will increase.

Yeah, but NPTEL doesn't consider Assignment 0 for Calculating Marks.

@@onlyoncefasak554 the 8th assignment or the assignment u left will be taken as 0 and your total score will be averaged on basis of 8 subjects only,by not attempting all 8 you have lowered your best possible average % anyways if it is 25 on average you will get

@@LlghtShlne yeah I did. Check your avg score and the eligibility criteria. The average of 8 assignments was taken with 0 on one, coz I did only 7. But my score in 7 assignments was pretty good like 70-80 in all so plz check accordingly.

It is not a problem for you because finally you need only minimum 40% marks in Assignments.

@@ANANYAVERMARA No worries . U try to score more marks in remaining 4 assignment .average of 6 assignment only they will take and convert to 25% . Example : (100+90+80+90+0+0 )/6 * (25/100 ) =15

add all 5 assignment mark and take 6th assignment as 0. calculate 25% of average of 6 assignments .
example :
1 assignment =100
2 assignment = 90
3 assignment = 90
4 assignment = 80
5 assignment = 70
6 assignment = 0
take average (100+90+90+80+70+0)/6 = 71.667
and 25% of 71.667
(i.e) (25 * 71.667)/100 = 17.91667 >= 10
17 /25 is greater than equal to 10/ 25 so eligible for certificate

YOU WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR A CERTIFICATE ONLY IF *AVERAGE ASSIGNMENT SCORE >=10/25* AND *EXAM SCORE >= 30/75* . If one of the 2 criteria is not met, you will not get the certificate even if the Final score >= 40/100.

It is not a problem because NPTEL considers only Best Assignments.
