I don't understand at all! What can this do to enhance your sound? I had no idea that people were sitting around, chompin at the bit, anticipating the new plug-in drop! I'm really behind! I need to catch up with society! I'm still trying to figure out how to whistle!
Is there a video where you go into more detail about this full range LFO setup? I could try making this myself but I'm not completely sure what's going on with the connections and the two phase bends?
What a shame :(. But it will take a while until we get a stable release, and maybe they'll have some holiday season (or black friday) discount as well 🤞
There is definitely no "need", in fact I buy a lot less plugins since I use Bitwig, but there are still reasons :). I wouldn't want to be without synths like Serum, Vital and PhasePlant, for example. However, these plugins are now more of a luxury than a necessity.
@@theRumbleChannel+vintage emulations and good "vintage sound". You have to rely 3th party plugins for those. Other than that, its really mainly about workflow thing. Or why you still use serum, vital and other things?
@@jussivalter Workflow for sure! And the sound. Serum per example just sounds amazingly precise and cold (in positive way). Bitwig is a bit on the warmer side. I love vital's resynthesis function, and it also has its unique sound characteristic. +1 for analog emulations
i wish the bitwig devs would stop releasing stuff only for the grid before giving in and making a normal device of it. i'm not going to use the grid if i don't have to. the grid has a slower workflow than devices and plugins in the normal effect chain.
I definitely understand your point, but everything I do in this video would not be possible, or more complicated outside of the Grid. So that's the justification, not the speed. That being said, I also don't understand why they didn't introduce a standalone version as they did with chorus+, phasor+ and flanger+
@@theRumbleChannel it looks like this thing would have a lot of potential as an effect device, especially considering it has a feedback loop, because they could let people put effects into it, like in Delay+
Polarity in his new video about Dome Filter mentions that Freq Shifter+ will be available as a device outside the Grid. He said that it didn't made the cut for the announcement, but will be there for the official release.
that sounded so good, love your content my man
This sounds really good bro!
This and the new drum modules sound really good!
I especially like the 909 emulations :)
@theRumbleChannel yes it's great and my favorite drum machine because of faithless 😍
Massively good addition to the grid (pitch shifter can get gnarly, too)
uuhh thats some gnarly stuff here !

Thanks for sharing this!
Great stuff
Early christmas for sure!
I hope you Work 4 Bitwig. If not you should really ask_!
Thx again.
I wouldn't mind working for them ;)
aaarghh i'm out of upgrade plan

@@theRumbleChannel XD no worry i'm a lazy man with the grid, i like designing with phaseplant a bit but i know grid is more powerfull.
There is absolutely no reason to own 3rd party VSTi with Bitwig now.
lol

@@Beatsbasteln true, let's hope they implement it before the official release🤞

@@KG01101 interesting. so the code of the devices must work really different, considering all the trouble of porting the effect
