Celebrating Indigenous Excellence in Science: 2024 Award Winners Announced!

Congratulations to the recipients of the 2024 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Scientist Award, Dr Justine Clark and Dr Joe Greet, recognising their outstanding research in the physical and biological sciences.
Dr Clark of Telethon Kids Institute is working with Māori researchers in New Zealand to explore the potential for genomics-guided precision cancer medicine, a collaboration that is set to create novel, tailored cancer care for Indigenous Australians.
Dr Joe Greet of the University of Melbourne is developing a Traditional Owner-led framework for wetland health assessment and management, working with the Wurundjeri people, to preserve the last remaining billabongs in Melbourne.
