What? The universe has no intentions, that is philosophically flawed. The creator, however, does have intentions in the creation. The intention of animals is multiple fold, the main one being sustenance and continuation of the ecological order.
This lady is such a wonderful and caring person. No wonder Carl adopted her and shared his family with her. They’re both very lucky to have found each other. Lovely story💖
That is so sweet! During the Lockdown we had a couple of cranes come through our yard daily with their babies, but now that traffic is back to "normal" we rarely see them in our yard anymore. Such beautiful birds!
In 2004, I used to have a mating pair knock on the heavy glass door where I worked at the Kissimmee Airport in Florida. Someone before me had been feeding them Oreos. I learned about it from the receptionist. I followed suit. I got the bright idea of trying a cheaper, look alike brand and they flat out refused and vocally gave me the business. They were very trusting and friendly. I really enjoyed it and will never forget them.
I have sandhills cranes that go up and down the neighborhood every morning. I love their chirping sound. They have their babies every year. Also this morning saw wild turkeys walking along with the cranes in the field across the street from my house. It’s a cool morning here in Florida. It was in the 50’s in Central Florida.
The conversations she had with her cranes were so adorable! I caught myself smiling and giggling throughout the whole video! What a beautiful soul that lady is! Thank you for caring for those beautiful birds!
What a lovely story! It wasn't even a situation of her looking after Carl as a baby and him returning, he just chose to be with her and bring his family. Such a shame about Kyle, it can't always be a happy ending for most chicks, but it's good to know his two older brothers are doing well and that Carl and Carla will continue to raise chicks in future.
We were in Kissimmee Florida last month and these cranes literally come to your door. Two years in a row now. They’re awesome and they walk right up to you and stay. My little one was scared because they were so close to them. They make so many noises and want food. They’ll actually take it from you. Can’t wait to see them again next year.
How beautiful is this? This family is blessed to have such a wonderful experience! I had a baby deer pick my family years ago. The hardest part was saying goodbye. I divorced and moved from our mountain home - she chased my Jeep like a dog down the road. My children and I bawled like babies. We were happy to leave our environment and their father who was terribly mean but so sad we couldn't leave with Doey.
Such a lovely story. We had a pair of ducks like this at our last home. They would bring their new babies every year. I cried when we had to move. They were standing on our porch that morning as we left. I hope they are well.
Its also believed that the sacred crane of the orient, red-crowned cranes are a symbol of fidelity in marriage, good luck, long life and love. They are the second rarest crane in the world, behind the whooping crane. So major good luck to her
This is the most amazing thing I have seen in a really long time. Definitely brought tears to my eyes that one of their babies got killed. But what beautiful and smart creatures. And the way that they trust her so much that's just so precious
It is such an honour when an animal feels safe enough to bring his family to introduce, and to visit as often as Karl does. You know that they trust you and they know they are safe with you ❤️
I have never seen this before but how cool is that? One bird comes and brings the family and then the family brings more family that is pretty darn cool.😊❤
That is so precious! We don't have wild cranes here in Nebraska, but we do have wild turkeys. For the longest time we had 2 females who raised their little babies in our woods and meadow. One year there was an albino amongst one of the clutches. Sadly it didn't last very long. I feel so honored that they enjoy our company. That is so delightful that Carl and Carla tapped at your door.
We have millions of wild Sandhill cranes in Nebraska every spring. It’s a major tourist event by the platte river every year. What do you mean we don’t have cranes? I think the cranes in this video are Sandhill cranes as well.
@larrygronewold6529 Yes, I've seen television programs about them gathering by the Platte river, every year. We have them here in Wisconsin. We had a mated pair raise a chick in a field near me. We watched them most of the summer. You can really identify them by the sounds they make flying over. We just saw a formation of them yesterday.
I have what I assume is a family of sandhill cranes that stop by our fields every year from spring to autumn... I say family but I can only assume, but its always a couple adults and eventually a young one. Amazing creatures, really amazing you get to see them so close.
I love that they keep coming back every stage of life. Karl as a youngster, then w his mate & child, then the child grown up alone & then later w his mate.
This is one of my all-time favorites! When I have been really sick and pretty down about it, I go back to this video and it always makes me laugh and smile😊
You are clearly in his family and the fact that he brought his babies to you is proof! I was so sad to hear one of his sons was killed, but, hopefully the signage has helped? Be well and be careful who you teach to knock! ❤

I'm sorry he didn't make it 💔 and I hope people DO slow down..we have Deer and other wild animals up in PA and I'm so sick of drivers speeding & disregarding them. Love this video and the Dodo 😘
What a blessing to have such a delightful family come to you. So sorry about the little guy who didn’t make it. Thanks for coming up with a “crane crossing” sign. I think sometimes people aren’t thinking about large birds possibly hanging around peoples homes and then wanting to cross the street. I’m glad you took the initiative to educate them. Hopefully they will take your sign seriously!
I am so amazed!!! They can feel you and your love! I have a group of 5 crows that I call everyday. They call me out every morning. I never knew a crane would do this too. We have great blue herons here, but they keep their distance from humans. You are like in the movies where the animals come to you!! You are special!! ❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊
How amazing is this question!? I just love how she has accepted them and clearly they can feel that or they wouldn’t risk bringing their children to her. It fills me with joy to know that it is going on for generations! Amazing ❤
Sandhill cranes are native in Florida which I can tell this is from. They do not care about cars and expect them to stop when they walk through the road. They’re funny little guys, glad she’s bonded with these ones.
I’m originally from FL and I remember those cranes 😂 This is so special, I’ve never befriended one so this was so cute to see. I remember walking home from school and the cranes just being all over the place. I do miss them, it’s strange without them
I had a cat named Carl, we lost him at 17 years old. He was the sweetest cat I’ve ever had. He would have loved watching the cranes at the door. I live in the country and across from my house are 2 ponds. I see quite a few cranes and we also get turkey, snapping turtles, ducks, geese and anything else that lives near water. Making a bond with animals can be so uplifting and being able to watch them grow is even more special. This woman is so lucky!

When animals behave like this it really is a reflection of what an amazing soul you are. The world needs more tender loving souls like yourself. Ty for loading this video.
Sandhill cranes behave like this if you feed them.
I'm just glad they took the time to post a crane walking sign. ❤

It means she's feeding them. That's it.

Saving her from brain rot LOL
Can there be a better story than this!! I love how the lady is so kind and has such a lovely and special bond with the crane family. ❤❤
“That's coming out of your allowance” I loved that line 🤣
😂
His cute derpy face 😂😂
It's amazing how animals know who to pick. Carl picked wisely. You have done so much for their little family
Poor Kevin losing his twin Kyle was so sad. How awesome to have these beauties adopt this couple. I'd feel so blessed.
I could see hitting a crane out in a rural area because of speed. Can't slow down fast enough.
She's right next to the road in a residential neighborhood. Meaning people are speeding when they shouldn't be or are not paying attention to their surroundings.
@@christins.1481 Look at the size and color of them when they are young pretty easy to miss especially if it is early morning and the sun isn't fully up as that coloring and size would cause them to blend in. All it would of taken is the parents being slightly further ahead or behind and you would never guess that something was in the way.
@@DeathlordSlavik Nah. I've missed puppies and kittens at night driving through a residential neighborhood because I was driving slow and paying attention.
I say this as someone who bought a new vehicle with a 1.6 liter turbo engine because I like speed. I don't speed in a neighborhood or around schools and pay attention for anything to jump out in front of me.
@@DeathlordSlavik Including chickens and geese and one donkey that darted out in front of me. All in the middle of the night.
Donkey just bout gave me a heart attack and he stopped in the middle of the road where the center of my vehicle would have been
@@christins.1481 Yes. It's easier to see at night with the headlights then in the early morning due to how vision works so your whole comments about the middle of the night mean nothing.
This woman is so lovely! I know very few people who are this unconditionally sweet
This is the most wholesome thing I've seen all month. Carl knocking to introduce the family melted me
Thank you for treating animals with the kindness that our universe intended.
Unfortunately the universe is a cruel and vicious place tho. It is not kind, not cute and completely unforgiving.
What? The universe has no intentions, that is philosophically flawed. The creator, however, does have intentions in the creation. The intention of animals is multiple fold, the main one being sustenance and continuation of the ecological order.
@@MostBeautifullestthe universe has both, our job is to balance tit to the kindness side
You mean God. He made the universe
@@jobotmang People can call it whatever they want, no? It's not your place to decide that for them.
This lady is such a wonderful and caring person. No wonder Carl adopted her and shared his family with her. They’re both very lucky to have found each other. Lovely story💖
I just adore this heartwarming story about a relationship between humans and birds. So very sweet.❤
That is so sweet! During the Lockdown we had a couple of cranes come through our yard daily with their babies, but now that traffic is back to "normal" we rarely see them in our yard anymore. Such beautiful birds!
Oh. So sad. Hopefully we can shift our transportation to allow nature to return to our towns and cities a little.
@@justcommenting4981we most definitely could, but then that'd cost money or require innovation neither of which people are willing to spare
This was amazing. Cranes don’t trust people very often. They are absolutely beautiful and so intelligent.
In my area they will frequently stay in people's backyards during summer months. I've seen at least three pairs doing this.
@@adarg2 In Florida, after a heavy rainstorm, a crane would come out. They were so majestic. I tried to take a photo of one and it flew away.
They will if you feed them.
I have a lot of them around. They will walk up to us asking for a scratch. They even sing to us. Wonderfully birds!
Wow!
Whodie who!
Cranes are incredible - you are so lucky to have such wonderful birds in your garden. Thank you very much for the sign.
ok
Incredible! She will have crane "knock and talks" for generations to come.
Thankful for the kind souls who encounter wild animals and are nothing but kind. God bless you all, need more people like this.
I love seeing them! So majestic. I like when they flutter their wings and jump and down in place...Thank you for sharing them ...
"Let me show you the humans we've domesticated..."
"You're not lying!! OMG!!"
"That's coming out of your allowance, Kevin. "😂 He's destroying her doormat, but she's able to laugh it off. She's a good soul.
What a beautiful story, thank you for sharing it's amazing that you could tell them all apart cuz they all look the same to me.
I freaking died at the look Kevin gave her when she told him to stop pecking her mat 😂
Probably the bird chocked on a bottle cap it found on the lawn .
This bird know this human could be trusted. Animals are incredible and I’m glad these birds found this lady. ❤
The conversations she had with her cranes were so adorable! I caught myself smiling and giggling throughout the whole video! What a beautiful soul that lady is! Thank you for caring for those beautiful birds!
Thank you for being so sweet to these cuties, what a sweet bond and ritual
Having a friendship and bond with animals is a true joy.
Not so much for wild animals s however.
When you feed wild animals they tend to stick around
And it is always problematic @@muffintop420
To win the trust of those magnificent birds says much about this woman. Beautiful story.
The sound “bark” they made is so cool.
This woman has an amazing bond with these cranes and I love how now Junior comes around as well😊
How beautiful is this? This family is blessed to have such a wonderful experience! I had a baby deer pick my family years ago. The hardest part was saying goodbye. I divorced and moved from our mountain home - she chased my Jeep like a dog down the road. My children and I bawled like babies. We were happy to leave our environment and their father who was terribly mean but so sad we couldn't leave with Doey.
😢😢😢😢 omg 💔💔💔 😭😭😭😭
I'm so sorry to hear the bad news, both stories. May you all find peace in your new life.

Such a lovely story. We had a pair of ducks like this at our last home. They would bring their new babies every year. I cried when we had to move. They were standing on our porch that morning as we left. I hope they are well.
This is such a blessed family that lovely bird family is loving this human friend....
God is beautiful.
You know that they trust you and they know they are safe with you ❤️
OH not that is crazy wrong. it is a recipe for disaster.
You're truly blessed to live in a place that's so beautiful and safe to have such an amazing thing like that happen.
I have never seen this before but how cool is that? One bird comes and brings the family and then the family brings more family that is pretty darn cool.😊❤
Thank You DODO for placing a smile on my face all these years. You have taken the stress out completely every time I watch one of your videos.
Incredible story! This is the first time I ever see a human friendship with not just one but generations of cranes! RIP Kyle...
She is feeding them
It's crazy how animals can sense the positive energy of people. They always seem to choose the right person to be around💗
I have a large number of cranes near my home, they are very friendly and they have no fear whatsoever of cars so the sign is a great idea.
@larrygronewold6529 yea I was gonna say, drive through west NE in April and tell me you don't have cranes. Literally thousands.
I love this lady! Lmao. “That’s coming out of your allowance, Kevin.” 😍 Their singing is beautiful
Incredible that she can tell them all apart
Im sorry about Carl. I'm glad his wife, children and their families are still visiting. Thank you for being an angel to these majestic birds
I thought Carl was still alive. Kyle was the one who got hit by the car
@@EggplantHarmesanyou're right. Carl is still visiting and getting in the pool. His third son, Kyle, was the one fatally injuried.
I would give ANYTHING to see THIS MUCH kindness to animals.. globally ❤️ thank u for trying to help the baby.. I'm sorry he didn't make it 💔 and I hope people DO slow down..we have Deer and other wild animals up in PA and I'm so sick of drivers speeding & disregarding them. Love this video and the Dodo 😘

I just can't get over the knocking. The cutest thing ever. So amazing you get to have these friends. Beautiful
Your so blessed to have this family visiting
So special when a family member of cranes pick you as their human(s). What a beautiful relationship, thanks for sharing.
Amazing ❤
What ever this lady is doing or feeding them, they really took a liking to her. That's amazing 👏 ❤.
I agree, even if she is feeding them, she is doing a good job cause the couple had 3 kids already, it means they are happy and well fed
@@volkana1977also its literally right next to their habitat, they dont look spoiled, ie no food begging behavior (but this video is heavily edited)

2:18 "did you look both ways" she says to the animal that has eyes on both side of their head 😂

What a heartwarming beautiful soul you have...You can determine so much about a person's true character by the way they treat animals with such kindness & respect!!! You're a gem...

Wow that's awesome. In France where I leave, cranes are very wild animals and don't approach humans. They only go through France for migrating periods and don't stay very long, and we are even warned to not go near them so as not to scare them. But these cranes seem to be used to human presence. I find it amazing that this family even seems to enjoy it ! 😄
It's absolutely wonderful to see this woman having earned the trust of two generations of wild cranes.
