That was definitely a concern too is if those eyelets would have cleared the side of the seat or not. Glad the belts had hardware so I didn't have to find out the hard way lol
They are much more enjoyable to drive around in with a lot more adjustability than the seats that were in it. If it had the factory fox seats I more than likely would have kept them, I do like those a lot but whatever seats those happened to be were just 💩
If the old seats are still in serviceable condition I would sell them to someone that is looking for stock style seats for Their project and hopefully be able to help someone else with their project ! Good content . Thank You 🇺🇸 🇵🇷 🦊 👍

Seats look great in there. But the Harnesses are not meant to be bolted to the floor cause in a wreck. It will compress your spine.. They need to be shoulder height. They make a Harness bar that you can bolt in.
From what I gathered as long as your shoulders are below the opening of the seat where the harness goes through it can’t compress your spine because it will be pushing down on the seat harness opening not on your shoulders. I do plan on doing a harness bar just didn’t have it at the moment
Seats look nice corbeau make good seats for the money. I put a pair of gts2 seats in my 07 gt500 all black leather without the logo for more of an oem kind of look and they are very nice and comfortable. Big improvememt imo they were likr 1700 bucks or so with the sliders. They look and feel much better and look like something that should have been in it factory vs normal seats basically like a gt with a snake on it and other minor differences it should have had a sport seat like what the gts2 is factory. Doesmt have the harness holes i wanted an oem+ look i like the style you got too and they make some fixed back ones i like the fx1 but decided i wanted reclining. When i drive the car around for couple hours i can tell a big difference far as my back and stuff. The stock seats my back would be killing me theyre soft but too soft imo. I like more firm but still comfy feel of tbe gts2. Id love to hsve a fox to tinker with if they all werent so crazy priced lol. I had 3 20 years ago.
That’s great, glad you like the seats you got as well. I’m happy with these. The fox prices are definitely up there but also depends on where you are. I’ve seen the prices all over the place. I paid on the higher end of what I was planning on but one major reason I got this one was that it is rust free and has a lot of parts off it I can sell to put towards other mods I want
@Lethal_Venom in 2000 when I was 17 I looked at a 93 5.0 hatch with a 5 speed calypso green with Grey interior 90k miles killer condition for the grand total price of....5500 bucks lol. Imagine getting it for that now. Makes me sick to my stomach thinking about it. It was out of my price range being a broke kid but man oh man how I wish I had a time machine
The seats do look good. However, assuming you are making a few $$$ with these vids that I will likely never make as I mod my '99 Cobra, please take a little time to video all parts of of your install: attaching the seat rails, landing the belts in the rear seat wells. Thanks.
UA-cam doesn’t pay out like people think it does lol. The seat brackets were self explanatory they just bolt on with 4 bolts to the bottom and the harness bolts are connected to the rear seat belt locations and on the sides where the lap belts go

Nice seats! If you end up using the eyelets, I’d check the clearance between the seats. I know the factory Torx head bolts have lots of room. 👊😎✌️

Very nice! It kinda gives me the vive of a 2000 Cobra R with those seats 💺 they look very similar. I bet driving the car now feels way different.
