Shes pretty sharp!! By the mid 90s it was tough to find a clean stock 80s GT they all got thrashed. Back then cars like yours or a proper Saleen was the chit back then! Loved that era of bodystyle they have a clean but aggressive look to them. 302 are indestructible. My 86...beat on it hard from 1 yr old til 93k when it was stolen like most did. Engine never ever gave me an issue. Brakes were gone by 7-8, radiator was borderline and not the best if youre tall I didnt care Super reliable.
Rockford Fosgate is the ONLY brand I've ever owned, thanks to one of My Brothers/Best Friend of almost forty years! My Wife says I heard you before I could see you, I think she's exaggerating! In an ironic twist My Buddy when be coming over to pick me up and My MAMA would say Derrick's coming and depending on where I was in the house I may not have heard him at the same time lo and behold about five minutes later or so he would be in the alley pulling into our backyard!

Beautiful Car The 93 Mustang Cobra has always been my favorite Mustang out of the Fox Body cars. I had the Chance to Trade in my 87 Mustang GT Conv't. But The 93 Cobra was not original on the eng. The Hooked up a biger cam and bunch of other upgrades and i did did really like the Teal Green Ext.Color so I kept my GT for around 31 years and still ran great with original motor and trans and also rear end ❤I miss My 87 GT ❤
Agree. Those Gts with the 302s with EFI got a rep of going hundreds of thousands. Most carbd cars were pretty worn out by 80k...if you really kept them in tune they could go 200k also but would be smokin.

I have a black 93 too. LMR sells replica wheels that are 1” wider than stock. I have a 275 on the rear with no issues or mods. They look great and so much easier than having yours reconditioned. I did an engine swap but still have the original motor on a stand. Getting her final tune now and can’t wait to get her back.
@@RCREVEALED Unless you got rust or youre really ocd about stuff leave it and put tons of miles on it. Love black cars but grew to hate em as Im too picky and dont like detailing them. But man they look SO right early morning and at dusk cleaned up. Switched to white cars. Have to have the right stance and wheels but if nailed they look great too. Can go a long time without washing and still look good and much cooler inside if you get hot summers White and silver cars are about invisible to police also, fact.

Try and find a 1-12 owner stock one. Its going to cost a bit but worth it. Find a long term mature adult owner...they dont thrash them and keep them up the way they should be. I never buy dailys that are modded.
Man that's a sweet 93 cobra I love the black on black badass hey man the wheel thing you might want to check with BREW2L because when he first got his Calypso clone done he had bought a set of OEM Cobra Wheels or been gifted some through somebody... I don't know if he still may have them around but hit him up and see what he has to say man great video by the way the car sounds really mean!!! Most definitely keep it and do the little bit that it needs and it will be perfect I don't know man I'm thinking those "makers garage" reimagined Cobra classic Wheels would look pretty sick on there I'm not sure the offset on them though if they do make em for the "real" 93 Cobra or not I believe they do that would look pretty sweet too!
Not a mistake at all. These cars are super slow stock. Heads, cam, intake, fuel, suspension and gears wakes these cars up. If I had a 93 cobra it would be a nasty 363 stroker setup
This car is freaking awesome, I actually don't like leather interior on the Fox, look forward to see another video on her she sounds good, Truly feel with modifying it some performance wise, when done right is ok because you could always freshin up the motor and put back stock style internals, because you can tell it wasn't abused, raced, etc. (sorry comment is so long)

I have thought about those wheels but I believe the offset will not work Because of the width of the rear end. Car would need some modifications for them to fit.

That center console is not stock
When I mean stock I mean nothing has been sprayed and the seats and carpet is original. Not worried about a shifter or center console.

Love restoring stock alum wheels. Did them on my then 86 GT, redid them around 90, my 02 Silverado in 2020 (frame off) and my 89 vette.

For 93 they were pretty quick! My 86 when new could crack 14s which was about the same as any TPI car, C4 et
Alot of rim shops will flll the rash and re spray it the factory color, would look like new.
What’s the exhaust setup on that car?
I would need to look again, but I will probably do a more in-depth video on it.

Dude, you are gonna kill the heritage of this Cobra if you repaint it IMO. Its a driver, and original pain counts for something down the line.
All the original this/that is overblown, doesnt matter .
The paint on these was super thin. A repaint if its a nice job wont hurt value.
