When I was a young kid growing up in South Dakota, farmers would hire all the young kids in town to "walk the beans". A lot of the times it was kids as young as maybe 7 or 8 (that didn't already live on farms... because we all know that farm kids don't get to sit around all day on the farm without working no matter what age)... I haven't lived near a farm in forever, but I can smell those fields in my head.

Hi Erin just started watching your videos. Love them. You are a very hard working person and it shows in the content you create. As you crawl around on that equipment repairing and maintaining it; my aircraft maintenance training comes to mind. You must take off your rings please. If you were to slip and fall and get your ring caught on something you may loose a finger because l've seen it happen and it not pretty. It can happen very fast so please take my advice and remove all your rings while working on equipment. Keep up the great work.

So she mentioned "tiling a field" and I had never heard of it so looked it up and see that it is the installation of perforated drainage pipe like we used when I was in the landscaping business to drain water from low spots in someones residential landscapes. I remember seeing flatbed trucks loaded with that material on the highways wondering who is using that much of it and now I know. My question is that if you have a fairly level field does it work effectively as I expect it needs a slight slope to gravity drain?

Wow, don't sneeze while combining your field there or you might dip into the neighbor's field. Now that is the closest "neighbor's field" I've ever seen. How does that work if you need to spray your field for weeds and such since your fields are so close or is it a bit of manual labor of walking and picking? You're right, that is a very nice field, can't believe how many pods there were. Good ground, I guess.
