Week Recap: Harvest, Birthday, & More Harvest

- It’s been a busy week full of harvest activities, but we did get rained out (more like misted out) for most of the day Monday. It also happened to be my birthday, so it was kind of nice to have a slower morning! At the end of Saturday we should be roughly a third of the way done with harvest overall.

Erin, I came across your videos while caring for my wife at the hospital, they have helped me pass the time and remember my younger years back at the farm when my dad used to harvest his corn and I’d be his right hand man. He’s been long gone and so is the farm; seeing you with your great attitude and working spirit has taken me back to those years and reminisce about our similar experiences. Thanks for putting the videos together they are great. Keep it up and happy belated birthday.

How old is this girl?
Harvesting machines are so much bigger than my youth when I helped my grandfather farm. He had a a 1066 as his biggest tractor and an IH 301 combine. Just toys compared to your farm. Thanks for the no nonsense Vlogs and Happy Birthday.

Are you crazy? That Girl has beautiful hair, wet, dry, messed up or in knots, she is beautiful inside and out, wet or dry. She could try all day trying to be ugly but it will never happen, she is just to pretty.

My best friend does what you do. Helping out his father on harvest time. What i thought was awesome was, our place of employment (Goodyear tire and rubber) plays him an hourly paycheck. 40 hours a week to harvest with his father. Goodyear also does the same with military. It is freaking awesome when people like you work your freaking ass off to do what you have to do to help others! You are a very rare person!

Well little sister you definitely have my respect and admiration for working on that farm as hard as you do. Not sure how you feel about it but it will definitely make you so much of a better person down the road. And that’s not saying your a bad person now. I worked Quarter Horses with my grandfather when I was younger. Very hard and demanding work but it built character and a daily sense of accomplishment which made me the person I am today. Can’t say it was all fun but it challenged me both mentally and physically. I’m sure your dad is extremely proud of you. Hard work will put you miles ahead of your peers as most couldn’t handle a day in you boots!! So hang tough lil sister. And again you’ve got my respect for sure. As for the diet I hear you talk about I’m not seeing you needing it at all. Your young , intelligent, and beautiful. Don’t sweat the small stuff. Take care and stay safe.

There's an option on UA-cam that you can eliminate the negative comments. I stumbled on your UA-cam channel and it's awesome. You do an excellent job of filming and editing. You're definitely a true farm girl you do whatever it takes no matter what the job. I love reading your blog it's so hilarious you keep me rolling over in laughter. In your intro a while back, you inferred not being comfortable in front of a camera but you have a wonderful presence and delivery. You are a great example of how MeTube videos should be produced. Your work skills are impressive as is your editing. I love the weekly recaps.
