Replanting with Climate FieldView!

- I realize this video is a couple months late, but it’s been a crazy hectic, sickness filled summer, so better late than never, right?? Technology has obviously changed the face of agriculture, but I’m always especially reminded of that fact when it comes time to replant. Using FieldView has enabled us to better plan for the rest of the year and gives us map data that helps not only us, but the folks we work with. We’re very grateful to get to use it, and we’re especially grateful we didn’t have any more replant than this!
Let me know what questions you have about FieldView in the comments, and I can’t wait to show how it helps us in harvest!
p.s. You can get a free year of FieldView at fieldview.info/ErinHolbert 🙌🏼

Your Dad is lucky to have such a self-confident daughter to rely upon...kudos kiddo!😎🤙🕉
Thank you so much Erin for not editing out you being greasy/dirty. I always worry about a farmer who never seems to be dirty and their clothes always look fresh as a daisy. Love the honesty and all the detailed information. Educational as well as entertaining.
WOW! For me, this may be one of the most interesting videos you have ever done. As an old man, watching you use all of the modern technology just blows me away! Well done Erin!!!
So glad to see I'm not the only one who occasionally does hand drawn field maps. Thanks Erin.
Hard working woman, and beautiful even at work. All respect to all farmers your the backbone of this nation. Thank you.
If that’s all pops gave you for directions I’m thinking he has 100% confidence your going to nail it. Way to go DAD.
Well pops should have confidence in her she went to college for it!!!! And I'm sure he paid for it she has a degree!!!
I just love the way you don't give a hoot about getting dirty and putting it on video, it shows real life farming.
God bless you and your family.
Thank you for bringing us along and taking the time to show yet another vignette of a farmer's work. You do as good a job as any farmer on UA-cam explaining the work and your mix of dialogue and speed frames is excellent. We know you've faced a lot over the last year or so but we're still here waiting to hear what you've got to say. I grew up on a farm in MO 50 or so years ago so things were a lot different than now. Shoot, tall cotton for us was an umbrella mounted on the fender. God bless you little lady...
I certainly hope life is getting back to normal after ur 'opportunity' filled summer! Tk u for sharing & explaining the re-plant process for those of us that have never farmed. Honestly, if I were tasked w/ that re-planting I would have been lost out in the field!
That is great dad gave a map and said finish the replant and a map Erin he has faith in you to get the job done he and you are fantastic and you did a great job
Very cool watching you replant months ago, that fieldview is really neat, especially how you changed the population on the fly, thanks for sharing this Erin
Another great informative video from the Field and includes the best broadcaster anyone could ever ask for!
When you think about the early versions of GPS devices for driving vs the GPS of today, it’s kinda like Dad’s explanation and map, or having an on-board computer, and cute operator, than can direct the activities required. Probably without mistakes and a record would be available!
You are awesome and a great influence and roll model for all youngsters that have an interest in all aspects of agriculture. Thanks Erin, you are keeping it real! Stay safe!
Outstanding job, Erin, both the replanting and shooting/editing the video! I’m in awe…
you are a joy to watch, gives the kids confidence they can farm and brings a smile to my face, thanks for what you do
Wow!! i am impressed with all your skills. Erin, you are really smart young lady who can do the job at hand at this moment to us all. Thank you....
Thanks, so thankful for you as a farmer,
Hey Erin. Great to see you back and in your tractor. Replant looked like a giant puzzle!! Looked like you had been playing in the graphite. Thanks for the video and explanation.
Be safe
Take care
Erin you are so funny, interesting and entertaining. Good job girl. I grew up with Southern Indiana corn fields, so I can somewhat relate. I am 83 years old now and am enjoying watching other people on UA-cam doing the work.
Many thanks for the updates. I am happy to have a new video of things in the past. It backs up time for me a bit, and that is a good thing.
Partial replanting is definitely frustrating, but worth the effort trying to get a good stand with beans being $14.00, and keeping pressure on weeds with canopy. Sometimes I have had to rely on the old “squint method“ when you are out in the field scouting, but even then it’s hard to tell where to start and stop. I will be curious now that you guys are harvesting and what the yield maps look like where are you replanted, and did not, and see if there is much difference.
I just want to say thank you!! Thank you for all of your hard work.. Thank you for feeding us... Thank you for making such wonderful videos to entertain us... Thank you for teaching us... With out you this world would not be as bright! So Thank You!!!!!
Incredible technology. Incredible You. This weekend Oct 8,9,10 is Canadian Thanksgiving where we eat all the Best Turkeys!
miss dana Erin you are such a sweetheart. you are definitely a very good farmer. and of course very easy on the eyes. take care and see you soon
Re-planting is the most mentally exhausting job I’ve ever done on the farm. Good work Erin, you’re a rock star!
Nicely done Erin great video as always 👍
I Appreciate that you are always a little dirty or bruised. shows you are actually working.
That is why I enjoy her videos. And "Ag with Emma". It's all real.
Good morning Erin. . Excellent video with superlative production values. - so inspirational, motivating and heartfelt. But of course, that's to be expected from a strong and skilled woman such as yourself. TYFS. 😉😉
Never apologize for dirty hands and nails, if you work you get dirty. You go girl!
Great video Erin, you always do an excellent job, no matter job you tackle, your dad is very lucky to have such a hard working, and very talented, and very smart daughter by his side. Love the graphite look it shows you certainly aren't afraid to get your hands dirty. Take care of yourself Erin, and stay safe, and God bless you 🙏 Erin, and your family.
Erin, you're looking great and wishing you a blessed future. Enjoyed your video, cheers to you 💖
Yes, good to see and learn from you!
Nice job little Lady! God bless!
As a JD tech, this was informative to watch. Not much experience with field view, but it seems that everyone runs it. Great job explaining the process!
You covered in graphite/talc made me lol
Thanks 👍
I proud of you and you are so smart
Girl has it going-on...for sure.
Thanks for explaining everything so well for us . Enjoyed the video . Thanks
Erin. Love the videos. How about an update on the tractor that your dad was hit in? Watching from Lexington KY.
Excellent vid! Have fun!

Great video and good job. Take care and have a blessed day and I'll see you on your next video
Erin, great explanation of the Field View system. How do you map the bad areas for the insurance as well as the replants?
Erin I started watching before reading instructions now I know the rest of the story always glad to here from you 😎
Thank you and Welcome back. Your a great teacher I'm not a farmer so your a great help .
Hey Erin your looking great. glad to see you again. Good call on planting on the way back out of the field. A super great video. Thanks for taking time to film the video. Tell your family hello
Very beautiful
Pretty sunset for a Pretty lady!
Yay erin. Good to see you. Hope you are well.
🇺🇸 I for one love the new content. I ain't crazy enough to watch reruns, but I sure appreciate new content! I just have to laugh that we could be watching you plant beans you have already harvested 🤣. Regardless I can't remember what time frame this puts you in relation to getting so sick. Terrible sorry you had a hard summer just praying 🙏 you're in as good a shape as you say you are!! Wouldn't dream of saying you're pulling our leg 😉. Just hope you are doing as well as you look if so you're going to be OKAY!!! 🚜🌽🌾👌
VERY PROUD OF YOU ERIN..... YOU ARE A POWERFUL CREATOR
This technology is amazing !
What a great video. There's nothing like it here in my area of Wi. Just hills and dairy.. I found the computer aspect of it fascinating. On a differnt note, never apologize for dirty fingernails, they are earned. My wife was a very good custom sptay painter, you can imagine the crud that she accumulated under her nails..
At least he didn't draw it in the dirt and say do this Area and that area...lol my dad was so vague about details and then wondered why I screwed it up. When you said "shit show" I was thinking, ..yep. been there. Love your channel fellow Hoosier! Hello from Texas!
Lil dirt on the nail never hurts. Just means you are keeping it real.
Erin, Always great to see your videos. Dads map looked confusing Lol
Very cool
Sorry spelled your name wrong anyways it's good to see you back like watching your videos keep making more of them have a good day
Holy that quite the detailed map, probably took longer to draw that all out than it would've to just hop in the tractor and seed it lol.
Great video! And a bit of dirt under the nails didnt hurt anybody!
looking forward to harvest at christmas.. bad joke.. understand all going through.. just enjoy "a lot" your videos..
Stay hydrated Erin
Great job Erin 😃
I love the map 👍are their any lakes by you ?
I like the dirt makeup ❤
I love a girl who isn’t afraid of getting her manicured hands dirty!
as long as it does not ask to plant telephone poles, looks like a great program!
Man I was confused for a bit. "How is she barely planting in October?" I thought. 😆😆
Thanks!!! so much for the videos
What's the filter do you use to make your teeth glow and shine ✨️ like that?
Congratulations!
This video made me think....I would like a video of a crop's life from preplant operations to harvest including all major events in the crop's life that contributed to the outcome that is harvest.
always so interesting
another great video!
Your Dad sounds like the kind of guy who will get it done no matter what. Had to. You got that in you?
Good Job,,
Do we have a reading on the precision planting that was flagged in the spring?
That was a pretty video 🤩
Hello good morning good job i like your vídeo
It's good to see you back Aaron
nice as always
I hope you had a great Birthday yesterday!
Always interesting videos
Hey erin, great video ✌
Good job!
You are Awesome
Very good Video 👍👍👍
Wow have not seen any videos of you for a while you must be busy.
Dad knows she can figure where all patch work is located.
Maybe It’s one of those mind games, but one of those maps look like your dad just drew a dinosaur.
Does replanting parts of the field affect Harvest schedule?
Special Lady
GREAT VIDEO
With all that tech I thought you would've marked out the areas via gps then uploaded to FieldView?
Really glad to see you more healthy. work on your immune health thers a lot of powerful supplements that may help. since Covid thr=eres a lot of new information from different studies
Hola Erin, soy de Uruguay 🇺🇾 miramos tus videos.
Aveces se me hace difícil entender todo jeje.. podrías poner traducción a español con subtitulado?
Nos resultaría más fácil ya que son videos de buen contenido!! Gracias
Hi Erin, Just wanted to wish you and your entire family a very Happy and Blessed Holiday Season and always. Thanks for sharing 🙏🙏🙏Much Blessings to you. ✝Lord-Jesus-Christ dot 🙏c🙏o🙏m
I have a misunderstanding. What do you use to kill volunteer corn? I have assumed that roundup ready corn would still be roundup ready in the next generation as volunteer corn. I guess that I am assuming that you are using roundup ready crops.
