- With the vacuum pump still running this micron reading is not that important reading.,
After you shut the valve and turn off the vacuum pump and let the system go through its vacuum decay for about 10 minutes 15 minutes the final number where plateau and level out . THAT IS YOUR IMPORTANT NUMBER !…

@@quacktony it’s only expensive if you’re not charging the proper price for working on vehicle.
If you do it, yourself at home in your own backyard and you’re only working on your personal vehicles only yeah it could be a little pricey
Look for professional charging the correct price for the correct service if he knows what he’s doing if it’s just a recharge you should have that paid off in two or three recharges which is about one days work and a hot summer day for most small shops
Or a compressor burn out parts and labor job and money left over
