Thanks for showing the toad. That was a nice one. It has been scientifically proven that toads are the most dignified animal in the forest.

Thank you for sharing the good and the bad. I wish I could contribute some form of kindness to support your healing from PA. You and your Tramily are in my thoughts. My wife, youngest son and I just returned from 10 days of visiting Olympic Nat'l Park, the Oregon Coast Trail and Crater lake, Just got home this morning at 5am. Sorry we missed you all! Get well Julia!

Another good video. When Corey said "alliums" it cracked me up. Then I remembered that you're all of my kids generation. I hope that you're feeling better. Happy Trails. Good Luck, Rick

As one who has bladder infections all my life I had never heard of your bladder condition. Just read up on it, I am so sorry you have to suffer through this. I would hope AZO type meds that numb the area would help. I never travel without mine after getting caught up in the mountains with the start of a uti I could not "flood" out with water. Hang in there, I know you are still hiking so hopefully you symptoms have passed.

They are MISERABLE. I started taking powdered D-mannose as a prophalac and it keeps me well. If in active UTI you take every couple hrs.. i swear by it.. A doctor told me about it after yet another round of antibiotics didn't work.. Its the active ingredient in cranberry, but highly magnified and non toxic. I hope this helps both you and @Julia

Hubby and I have been enjoying your vlogs, vicariously enjoying the scenery. I've been awaiting the Oregon section, especially the Three Sisters Wilderness and Elk Lake. I spent the summer of 1969 at a pack station near Elk Lake, was the best of times. Hope you're feeling better.

One thing that is awesome about crater lake is that if you can get down to it, many miles off the PCT, it’s water is so pure you can put your bottle in the water snd drink it unfiltered. Sorry you were having such body ick issues. Glad to see you on the alt trail with Sam and Moriah. Keeping things silly and real. Got to see some of my fav parts of Oregon. Thanks for posting. Keep taking care of that body

Am commenting before reaching the end of the video, but ‘Ouch’ with that groin issue. Sounds painful as hell. Yet, you are still hiking at a fairly good clip. Impressive! 👍. You are tough as can be, out there! Hope this vid has a happy ending for you.🤕

Just got back from Oregon. Mosquitos in the Redwoods, but not right on the coast! Maybe Oregon needs to be known for mosquitos instead of redwoods!

Hope you feel better. You are tough...

Rocket try to get some KT-Tape and wrap the groin area and upper leg, maybe that will help! Yeah, I think if I’m not mistaken Crater Lake was a dual volcano the smaller one is inside the lake! Love the videos!

You could connect the miles. Just go back from where you left. If it was me, after investing so much time and money, I would connect t the miles and finish properly. You will gain so much personal pride. Don't listen to others. Finish it, do it!

1/2 tsp of cream of tartar twice a day for 6 days and the infection is gone. Learned this from camp kitchens in from Northern Alaska.

Ohhh it’s weird how the bleeding hearts grow there. I live in the Roan Mountain area and just moved here after living in the Smokies for 55 years. Here they grow on damp rock walls. Freaky to see them on the ground in bunches like that.
