- While waiting for the snow to melt in the northern sections of the Pacific Crest Trail, due to an unseasonably snowy and cold spring, our group decided to head to the Oregon coast for a few days to enjoy the beach.
We decided to hike a few days along the coast and have a gentle reprieve from the grueling and grinding life on the PCT.

Tillamook is my home town, the tunnel through Oceanside beach is so special to me. I’ve hiked sections of the OCT but never through hiked it, maybe I need too.

I've been through that tunnel! The OC is definitely my favorite of all of the places I have been so far!

On the other hand, she -he seems happy.
An occasional pack free break for the happy and loyal dog would ease the joints! Just noticed at 8:45, everyone is resting with packs off except the poor dog has the lopsided pack on!🤔

I’m enjoying your OCT videos and have a question. Did you all make any reservations or just keep hiking south from campsite to campsite? I am hoping to do this next summer and am a bit worried about all the mentions of needing to stealth camp where it’s technically not legal.
Are you going to finish the PCT??
I missed the part about leaving the PCT and doing the Oregon Coast Trail. After this are you returning to PCT?
That was a month ago, looks they have a three week lag on their post so they're not followed. Can't blame them. They could already be home drinking Margaritas 🍾

There is medication for 'bladder spasms'. I have some from my urologist.
I've never been to Oregon, so I'm wondering. Do they have beaches with people in bathing suits soaking in the sun and playing in the water? I haven't seen many people on the beach in your videos.
I live here, maybe a few days in late July or August you might see 80+ degrees at the coast, the rest of the time it's gonna be ~68F and the water is in the 50s most of the time. Not a lot of swimming going on.
I mean they call it the PACIFIC crest

You're not planning to have children? We gave up when we hit 41 years old and 14 years married. Martha wasn't supposed to be able to get pregnant. A month after her 41st birthday she was pregnant. Our son turns 29 this summer. You just never know what twists and turns life will take. Happy Trails. Good Luck, Rick
Your videos are outstanding but I really would enjoy even more if you left out the profanity.
How about all of the annoying “background” music?!
Also, a large part of her daily posts are after-the-fact DESCRIPTIONS of what happened, not the actual experiences… And the majority of surrounding landscape and/or ocean shots, are captured as background to HER, talking-as-she-walks-which was an insane waste of the Oregon Coast!
