- Hi friends!
This was a fun solo adventure through Rocky Mountain National Park that had some epic views along with some solitude with plenty of miles and plenty of elevation gain. Kind of a simple video, but thought I'd share the experience :) either way- I hope you enjoy.
I plan on uploading a week of training that showcases where I've been at with my training and some of the obstacles I've been working on overcoming- consider subscribing so you don't miss it! Thank you for watching and thank you for being here!

This was such a beautiful run! 20 miles is no joke you crushed it!
How gorgeous... WHY don't I live close to the mountains... that's some incredible training! The paragliding sounds awesome!
Please keep posting! Love the vids. So motivating!
So many things in this video that I identify with - I get up early (3-4am) everyday and do my runs early as well, I always run solo, and people usually look at me like I’m crazy for running where they have a hard time walking (and I’m slow).
That looked like a nice route. I bet it felt amazing to enjoy the morning there.
Your videos are always down to earth and inspiring for me (2 months into trail running). Much love from Florida, you got this!
I so appreciate that- thank you so much!! Stoked you’re starting your trail running journey and excited for all the places it will take you!!
Amazing. Truly breathtaking scenery!
Keep crushing it!!
Great run, awesome trails, and beautiful day! Nicely done and great training for Never Summer!
What a beautiful day and a gorgeous trail! Thanks for letting us tag along. You’ve got me stoked for my next run, as per usual. 😄
Thank you!! 😊
I'm so proud of you!! Great effort and time. The scenery is amazing! You absolutely amaze me🎉❤😊
“The junction of junctions” 😂❤ much needed motivation and mental images of gorgeous mountains for my hot Texas run this morning 😅😊THANK YOU
Oh my goodness thank you!!! I hope you survived the heat!!! You are amazing!!
Amazing 🤩 looking route! Cant wait to crush this!
This makes me want to relocate.
The fact that you do all of that alone is very amazing and inspiring. It takes a lot of confidence to do this. Good luck on your race
Thank you!! 😊
You're an absolute savage, keep it up! I did that loop last summer, it's one of my favorites. You should check out the High Lonesome Loop by Ned sometime too. Definitely wait for a good weather window though.
You’re too kind! And the high lonesome loop…oh my goodness it’s like a top 5 for me. I’m hoping one of these next few weekends to find myself out that way- I did it back in 2020 and it has so many beautiful features and sights it’s so amazing! Hope to see ya out there!!
Great views thanks for sharing. Keep up the sun protection future you will be glad you protected your skin.
Duuude, that route looks gorgeous. I’m sure it made those miles easier. I’m adding that to my list. Epic run and effort. Congrats!
Thank you!! I hope you get to check it out!
a true trail runner, it's about the adventure. I get in a rut of repeating training trail runs too much on same routes, for logistic reasons. I should strive more to make it an adventure on new routes and terrains like what you seem to be doing. Great channel!
Thank you!! 😊the adventure is what it’s all about!!
You should @ your strava!
strava.app.link/gsNn853WUKb try this! :)
That loop looks awesome! Did you make it up or did you find it on something like AllTrails? I did Twin Sisters last weekend (twice) and the looks and comments from the hikers who saw me on both trips were definitely amusing.
Running in Rocky is always fun for that reason 😂 but I use Trailrun project to find most of my trails then use people’s recent trail reports on AllTrails for trail conditions!! That’s awesome you were able to lap Twin sisters- amazing work!!
this loop is on my list this summer, i think its called long peak valley loop! planning on tagging this with a friend in the next couple weeks. Was navigation pretty straight forward? i know RMNP is pretty good with signage.
I am so excited for you! It was so awesome- definitely hot the last 10k or so, but absolutely worth it. I did download the route onto my watch which just made navigating easier for me personally, but very straight forward for the most part!
Love this! Can you link your sunglasses?
Absolutely! They have interchangeable lenses so one is for lowlight and the other for brighter days. And they look good on everyone :) www.pitviper.com/products/the-exec-try-hard?variant=40403355435102
Thanks so much!
What percentage would you say was hiking vs trail running on this one?
I’m training for my first 50k and hike more these days than run.
This one, hmmm…maybe 65% hiking and 40% running? I’ll be honest, I’ve gotten very familiar with power hiking over the last month- especially with big climbs at altitude and for longer efforts and hoping with consistency and time I’ll see the ratio have a bit more running. Best of luck with your race!!
