Sorry for your discomfort. I had something similar years ago. It wasn’t an infection, and supplements like cranberry made it worse. I didn’t have a lot of luck with my regular doc’s efforts. So, I went to a naturopath. She put me on estradiol suppositories and some supplements. And, it was gone in about 2 weeks. This was after dealing with pain for 6 months. Anyway, I hope you find a solution, it’s soooo uncomfortable 🥴

I get vasculitis in that area around my ankle when I wear gaiters on hot days and hike high miles. If I know I'm going to be hiking high miles in the heat I wear my knee high compression socks to help with it. You guys are killin it.

😬😬😬 all those mosquitos made my skin crawl. Made me think of Jumanji where they were giant and trying to get them in the car.

I’ve been in that hell near the Scott Lake area. They caused us not to eat, drink properly and then get lost because all attention was on going and not navigating which turned into another hell of its own. Was my sister’s debut trip. She still tells people how her family tried to kill her. :) loving your vids. Thanks!

I grew up in western Oregon and Washington. This time of year the bugs are brutal. There are clouds of them. The good news is the further north you get the fewer there are. Bladder issues are just not good. Saps your energy. Pain is unpleasant. Peeing with mosquito clouds is evil. Oh the joys of Oregon summers in the woods, which was my childhood.

Oregon had a very wet spring so the mosquitoes are thick now. That’s a lot of miles! He is pretty. I hope you are both going home

Thanks for all the content! We’re living the adventure vicariously (minus the mosquitoes).
Make sure the urinary frequency is not friction-related (common in hikers). Otherwise, I’ve had some success treating patients with non-antibiotic prophylaxis for recurrent cystitis/bladder spasms using Urex and Uribel. Let me know if you want more info.

For interstitial cystitis have you tried alkalinizing your urine? Mix baking soda (teaspoon or less....I can't remember the exact amount) with water and drink that a couple times a day. Sorry the IC is so terrible for ya. :-(

Given the timing I was curious how they would deal with the Oregon cascade mosquito season, I avoid that part of the state until mid August at the earliest

NaturalCare UTI Care Homeopathic Urinary Tract Health… it works like a miracle for me when nothing else would work. 🤷🏻‍♀️
I originally found it at The Vitamin Shoppe in Hawaii. And have always had it on hand for the slightest twinge of UTI. Nothing OTC worked except this.
Let me know if I can send you a bottle somewhere, please. 💕

Why do skeeters have to inhabit such beautiful places? That's what I want to know. Shouldn't they only be found in low, hot, swampy areas? Guess not!
