If your an HD guy your going to have nothing but bad to say about the Honda but coming from someone who owns both I will say this my VTX that I paid $7k for with about 8K miles is a hell of a lot more reliable than my $20K street glide hands down. HD has a much smoother ride and all around feels more quality but I hop on my VTX 1800 and dog it out regularly and it has never seen a mechanic outside of routine maintenance and I just hit 40k miles. I think the biggest selling factor for HD is the service network which Honda does lack but hell if I don't need service then....
Been a Harley guy, my whole life bought a chopper last week. Went to pick it up. Deal fell through best thing that ever happened to me. Looked at eight more Harley's. Found my VTX 1300 94 customed right out. It is a sick ride. Absolutely love it

I have the same extras on mine except it's orange. Mine is a 1300 and I paid $2800 for it. It had 14600 on the clock when I purchased it. It runs like a champ and requires basic maintenance to keep running for years and years.
I’m trying to leave my 1300 like do you have a build list I can look at. Coming from sport bikes I have no clue about where to start

Your comment about how many miles on the Honda, could be answered by reading the historic data recorded on the ECU. This might not be recorded by the Honda ECU. When I worked for Aprilia's Press fleet, I could plug in the scan tool and see Max speed, Rpm,Etc.. If the wheel sensor failed all recording of mileage would stop. Nice looking bike!

As much as I love my 1300, I know I'm never going to see $7k, unless I put diamonds in it, lol. I like my "thunk" in the shifter. There's just so many reasons to love these bikes!

That is not a $6500 bike. I have a Honda VTX and they aren't worth that with 15k miles on it.

mine came with pipes power commander and a few other little things but nothing crazy

I NEED TO KNOW WHAT RACE THIS GUY WAS i think it was a black guy but on the flip side... it could have been a white guy who just loves flashy things or has black friends. However, I don't know because those seats and those speakers scream black influence, at the same time though, black bikers are very sophisticated with their building quality there is no way a black person would be seen with bags that shake when you hit bumps nor would they ever stoop to using pipe fasteners those two things will get your ass roasted. Then again he could just be a lower class black biker trying to fit in i mean he did modify a vtx of all bikes.
