more questions .....1 are they stock handlebars? 2 harness for headlights did you have to buy a single to duel harness and where Ebay? thanks I want to do this but not sure if I'm biting off more then I can chew ...lol...sweet bike brother
In this video the handlebar is stock. An we made the headlight harness. Just need 2 female ends an 1 male end an some wire. Its a 3 wire headlight connection.
Do you have the specs for the the bearings and spacers? I ordered my wheel already lol I saw your bike and said well it'll definitely fit so I hurried up and bought the wheel before the price went up. Lol. I wanted to do the 26 cause the price was pennies between the two, but $800 trees ain't in the budget right now. Let me know if you still have those specs. Thanks in advance. ✊🏽
‘Preciate the quick feedback. Wish i knew this before BBW, but im definitely going to have one in a month or so. I have an 03 1800c, 6” extended harley bags and razor trunk, 7” indash, red/blue/purple colorshift pearl. Cant wait to jump on this project. Any info you can share about mounting it? I'm gonna get them all mad when I put a RG fairing on my Indian. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Nice ride. Steve
If you do it yourself you can do it up on the $1,000. Bought most of the parts from eBay. Had to make some brackets to go from my frame to bolt to the Harley-Davidson parts
Or you can go to a Harley-Davidson salvage yard and buy a front clip for my wrecked bike but I think it would be cheaper if you get the parts off of eBay
Hey, could you be so kind as to share where your purchased the rim and tires? Cost as well. Looking to do the same wheel set up. Any major modifications or noticeable ride quality deficiencies when you made the swap?
The rear Rim is a factory spoke rim. Bike rides great the front steering is a little heavier since I have a bigger rim on the front. I have been to the Tail of the Dragon in the mountain with this bike. No issues
With the 23 inch wheel the front end looks stock, it isn’t raked at all is it? Can you tell me what all you did to get the road glide fairing to work on there?
I use smaller turn signal but put them in the same position. I used the Harley mounting brackets but I had to make some extenders to make the brackets in my factory holes for the saddlebag
I am looking to do this to a Yamaha royal star, how was the mounting bracket to the frame? I have a Harley bracket but thinking I will have to modify a little to make it fit
It wasn't bad..my frame is square tube.so it was not that hard to fab them up from under my gas tank to the Harley mounts.its just a lot of putting it on an off until I got it leveled. But it worth it..i
I understand completely. I have a Street Glide fairing installed on my 1800 VTX, and I didn’t take any pictures along the way. Did you manage to find existing holes in the frame, or did you drill through somewhere? Also, do you seem to catch a fair amount of air over the windshield or around the handlebars area?
I have a Honda VT1300CR Stateline and I've been trying to figure out how I put a mount so I can put a road glide fairing on my Stateline is your mount custom or bought for a website like Hells Foundry, They sell mount extensions for road glide fairing.
CEO M.O.B is that a Harley wheel? Goheen cycles told me I need a 300 dollar adapter to do this I had found a 21 3.5 Harley fat spoke I want to put on mine maybe I can save the 300 bucks
I used the original Harley brackets for the bottom of the bag. But from there to forward it to my bike I had to make my own bracket. Just make sure you use some heavy duty metal so it doesn't vibrate

Super nice how the heck did you get that Road Glide fairing on there
I did it just like Harley Davidson did... bot it to the frame not the handlebars

Hey, could you be so kind as to share where your purchased the rim and tires? Cost as well.
Looking to do the same wheel set up. Any major modifications or noticeable ride quality deficiencies when you made the swap?
It's a 23 inch Harley-Davidson rim an tire.13 inch rotor.. I 4got the cost of it.. It been a while ago.
What about the rear tire? How’s the overall ride quality? What’s the manufacturer?
The rear Rim is a factory spoke rim. Bike rides great the front steering is a little heavier since I have a bigger rim on the front. I have been to the Tail of the Dragon in the mountain with this bike. No issues
I've got a 2004 VTXc, would i need to get a 2004 fairing? Also, whatt size is the wind shield and what brand?
I use a 2010 model fairing only because I got it for a great price. An the windshield is a Memphis Shade
Was there a lot of trouble getting that awesome fairing in it?
Not really.. I have a friend who is a fabricator at a shop.
Beauty.
Who made the Batwing Fairing
It's a Harley road glide stock fairing... convert to fit my vtx..
With the 23 inch wheel the front end looks stock, it isn’t raked at all is it? Can you tell me what all you did to get the road glide fairing to work on there?
When you mounted the saddle bags did you have locate the turn signals and what brackets did you use the mount the bags

Do you have pictures as to where you mounted your fabricated brackets underneath the tank? Also, I assume that pulling the tank was necessary?
I have no pictures but yes it's bolted under the tank
I understand completely. I have a Street Glide fairing installed on my 1800 VTX, and I didn’t take any pictures along the way. Did you manage to find existing holes in the frame, or did you drill through somewhere? Also, do you seem to catch a fair amount of air over the windshield or around the handlebars area?
I had to drill holes in the frame. And yes I do catch air with my hand the balls since I have 16 in apes on it now
Well that’s understandable with bars that high. How difficult was it to level out the fairing? How were you able to mock it up?
It took two people to get it marked up. It was a lot of off and on off and on off and on until we got it leveled
I have a Honda VT1300CR Stateline and I've been trying to figure out how I put a mount so I can put a road glide fairing on my Stateline is your mount custom or bought for a website like Hells Foundry, They sell mount extensions for road glide fairing.
How did you spend to get the rim to fit?
Too beautiful
Thank u ma'am
What all did you have to do to install that front wheel nice bike 🤙
Replace the bearings in the rim to fit my Honda axle. Get a 13-inch rotor. And make new spacer to make it all line up
CEO M.O.B did the caliaper bolt back in original place
Yes.. That why you buy a 13" rotor.. Honda vtx comes stock with 13" rotor
CEO M.O.B is that a Harley wheel? Goheen cycles told me I need a 300 dollar adapter to do this I had found a 21 3.5 Harley fat spoke I want to put on mine maybe I can save the 300 bucks
Yes it a 23" Harley rim an Harley 13" rotor.
How did you mount the bags? A buddy of mine has an extra set of these bags and said if I could figure out a way to mount them I can have them.
I used the original Harley brackets for the bottom of the bag. But from there to forward it to my bike I had to make my own bracket. Just make sure you use some heavy duty metal so it doesn't vibrate
CEO M.O.B I’m gonna need the Harley brackets then for that bottom support.
Yep. I think that would be the best so the bags can support the weight you put in them with no problems
is that an OEM harley fairing or one of those ABS aftermarket ones? If the ABS curious about the quality
It's a oem.i brought it from a guy that waa going to put it on his roadking
Did you raise front fender what size is that rim i have a really nice rim all billet needs polished and i dont know what its for
My rim is a 23" spoke. An yes I did have to raise the fender up about a half of inch
That bike is real nice ao a 23 inch and realy this tire will that front white wall is nice too
to mount The front rims you had to modify
Change the bearings..get a 13" brake rotor..an make new spacers.
What kind of spacers? I'm doing this in a few weeks to an aero. Any modifications to the honda axle?

U have tho make the mounting brackets that comes from the vtx to the fairing.but the brackets comes from the fairing to the bike is OEM parts.
How you get the fairing to fit
We had to make our own brackets that came from the frame of the bike to bolt to the Harley fairing stock brackets
O que vc fez na roda dianteira?
Are those factory forks ??
Yes
Did you say road king leather bags? If so, where did you get them from?
Yes i Found them on Craigslist. A guy was selling them cause he switch his to hard bags.u can also find them used on ebay.
Ready to sell it yet?
Lol........ U talking about my side piece. An that is her name.nall she's one of a kind. But thanks for asking
Where did you get the rims?

CEO M.O.B was it a Direct fit or what did you do to make it fit cu I want the same thing
The Barons will have to be changed to fit your bike and you will have to buy a 13 inch Harley rotor
U will have to make new space for each side of the rim
