Yea!! Congratulations!! Great job!! Stick to it and I promise those meds and health issues will be a thing of the past. When I started I was stage 4 kidney failure, high blood pressure, diabetic, just to name a few. Now, I’m stage 3 kidney failure, (something my nephrologist told me wasn’t possible, when I asked him what I could do to improve. It’s a disease after all and people don’t get better. HA!). I don’t have to take blood pressure medicine anymore, and my doctor told me the last time I saw her, that she wouldn’t even classify me as prediabetic at this stage. Change the way you eat, and you change your life.!❤

    Dr. Berry,
Thank you for this video! I agree completely with everything you stated!!! 💯 I routinely give you credit for saving my life, when I discovered Carnivore through you two years ago in November '22, because I truly believe so. I just celebrated my 2nd Carniversary and went from dying to thriving. I'm continuing to get the word out about the healing benefits of Carnivore, and just took on my second Carnivore recruit that I am 'coaching', after an impactful experience on Christmas night. As part of my guidance, I warned my new recruit about the dangers of dairy addiction, especially with cheese, so I shared this with her. I am a cheese addict, and would like to share my experiences with everyone. From this past Summer through Fall, I was on a double cheeseburger kick (no bun, of course) and ate double cheeseburgers almost exclusively for 3+ months. I only had steak once or maybe twice during that period. I was completely addicted to the cheese!!! I doubled up the cheese between the patties and munched on cheese while I was cooking, and payed the piper by mid to late Fall. I gained some weight, but even worse, my skin issues (Seborrheic Dermatitis) which was 95% resolved by Carnivore, got worse and dropped to 90% resolution (or maybe worse). For these reasons, I cut out all cheese about 6-7 weeks ago and my skin issues are 99% resolved and my weight leveled out (I resumed strength training and swapped some fat for muscle). This is my N=1 experiment, but I believe others will benefit from my experience. I'm down to eating steak, burgers, and eggs, with a smidge of Kerrygold salted butter to fry eggs, and lightly top my steaks. The only other dairy I consume is a very clean, organic, grass-fed, non-homogenized, A2, heavy cream in my coffee. I haven't had seafood in awhile, but will consume some occasionally (shrimp for New Year's Eve tonight). I think of burgers as food, and steak as Medicine, and usually alternate between them for 'early dinner' and 'late dinner', as I've gone from OMAD to 2MAD in order to prioritize protein. Thanks again for all that you do, and I hope to meet you one day in person to thank you for saving my life! ❤💪🥩🙏😊

    Thank you for explaining this!
I began carnivore a week ago due to health issues, and no where else to turn (Keto lifestyle in past years). I began eating cheese, and realized a couple of nights ago that it had quickly morphed into a craving that was driving me when I got our of bed, and brought the cheese, a knife and cutting board back with me and began eating slice after slice. I got up and tossed the cheese into the trash. This was a good lesson for me. The meat or the eggs I consume never cause me to crave more and more between meals. Presently experimenting with some recipes with cottage cheese and eggs to make flat "bread". If I begin to crave this food option, this will no longer be an appropriate food option for me.
I really appreciate the videos you have created for us coming out of erroneous beliefs regarding food to become knowledgeable in the carnivore lifestyle. I have watched several, and I am learning so much from you, Kerry, Todd and others. You are a blessing.

@@rachelbrondel5858Hi, my name is Rachael too! I joined a calorie controlled eating program online called "Reverse Health" and wrote to team support asking them to switch my meal plan to a keto version of the meal plan. (It was easy, one email). It costs $46AUD for one month or $108AUD for 6 months. I can't remember the yearly cost. (Just don't click on the standard price straight away and after not too long they halve the price).
I've just finished Day 1, the recipes are absolutely delicious and I haven't felt hungry all day. They include exercises but I'm just sticking to 45min/day on the treadmill for now. I feel great! It's well worth the money because they specify the serving size of each ingredient so you don't have to do all the calorie counting yourself. Plus I can see that the diet is properly keto - moderate protein, low carbs and high fat content. I think most people trying out keto go way too heavy on the protein and not high enough on fat but this way is easier on your kidneys. Although Dr Berry says keto doesn't harm your kidneys at all, I wonder if that's only when you make it properly high fat and moderate protein. You really don't need to eat hordes of protein to be keto and satiated, is what I'm discovering.
I couldn't be happier with this program, it's so easy to cook the meals they're quick and simple but delicious. It's also quite affordable to buy the ingredients from the supermarket, even including having to semi restock the pantry with keto versions of things eg almond flour instead of normal flour, coconut milk etc.
Highly recommend this program, especially if you're new to keto. My meals wouldn't be nearly as tasty and enjoyable if I just tried to figure out keto myself.
Today's breakfast was scrambled eggs and tomato, lunch was chicken (supposed to be turkey) & avocado in lettuce leaf wraps, and dinner was lemon shrimp with zucchini spiral noodles (my new cheap as spiralizer was a complete disaster, but it still tasted great!) There's also a home made keto snack every day but I'm replacing all the snacks with probiotic home made yoghurt and berries. The portions are small but I haven't been hungry at all so far.
Hope this is helpful to you. Happy New Year! 🎉

I'd cut back a lot on cheese already at that point, but discovered that I was sharper mentally without it after a couple of weeks. I put it back in my diet and a bit of fogginess returned. So, it's gone except for very, very rare occasions (much less than once a month) and even then, just a bite.

Haha great thumbnail Dr. Berry! I’m happy I can eat some cheese from time to time without consequence since going ketogenic with time-restricted eating. I have very selective dairy choices though, and they keep shifting slightly. Only Raw organic heavy cream sometimes in coffee, sheep’s milk yogurt or kefir when I’m feeling a need for that and sheep’s or goat milk cheese or authentic parmigiano Reggiano very rarely. Love your content ! My weakness is wood fired pizza so I’ll only have that once in a blue moon. Ice cream is way too sweet for my palate since going high protein and fat. One of the benefits of the ketogenic diet that a lot of calorie counters or people unfamiliar with it don’t understand is that you lose cravings and your pallet gets very sensitive to sweet things and carbs to the point that they become almost an aversion. Inversely carbs also become kind of a superpower that you can utilize if you need a little extra energy for working out or strenuous work etc.

Docs were stumped. Meds did nothing to help. But once I completely cut out all the dairy products regardless of which type (cow, goat, sheep), this painful sore disappeared. The one with the Lord shoulders and the narrow hips but I always had protruding belly. I always use it as a marker for diabetes LOL but when I quit the dairy my stomach went down

Kerrygold Dubliner cheese is my jam. I eat in moderation with no problems. I enjoy having a small piece with my burger patties.

Oh yes, that one is good. If you can find Kerrygold Blarney Castle, it's very good too. Sorry to be a bad influence 🤷🏼‍♀️ some of us can handle some without going overboard 😊

Thank you! I plan to go back to Ketovore on jan2. I usually include some cheese however , after seeing this I am going to eliminate all but the cream cheese and Greek yogurt - which I only eat occasionally Good to know that my cravings for cheese actually have an underlying reason! That helps me to avoid them!
Again, thank you for all of the info you provide to help keep us all healthier!❤❤❤❤❤

After being plagued with gallstones for a number of years which led to a kidney stone. I prayed for help, and quite consuming goat cheese (ate ridiculous amounts). No more gallstones and no more kidney stones. I only consume cheese on very rare occasions. I never really had a problem with weight gain concerning this.

Guilty... I'm a cheese monster. My wife isn't so keen on cheese but she's a yoghurt monster.

Yeah i am Swiss - its practically in my Blood - with Chocolate of course. I knew its not normal. The Craving of Cheese i encounter after a long time abstaining from it is insane. I always felt there must be something to it. First i thought its sugar - lactose, but now i understand..
Thank you so much for the information.

Ive recently switched to fairlife milk because of the low sugar content and its free of lactose. Just wondering your thoughts dont know if ive seen you cover lactose free foods. Thanks Dr Berry youve changed my life! Ive been trying to refer your channel to everyone I know. So many people are ignorant including me myself to what these foods are doing to our bodies. Thanks again and God bless!

I to am addicted to cheese. Lately I haven't had only a little cheese. The last 3 months of this year. I'm a Keto/Carnavor for over 3 years now. I'm doing fantastic on it. A1c 4.9. Yes before K/C life style I was 8.8 type 2 diabetic. On your list #3 heavy cream is not so bad. To put in my organic coffee. I don't often use heavy cream. I'll go back to putting organic coconut milk in my coffee. I hope that organic coconut milk, doesn't have anything negative in it. Dr. Berry thanks for letting us know about the cheese problem.

I just wanted to Thank you Dr Berry for being one of the few carnivores not selling out by continuing to promote the flavored LMNT packets after we found out they contain such high levels of maltodextrin, it’s shocking how some others channels simply sell out and they don’t really care about other people’s health and disclosing this information, but they only care about money and getting sponsored…

Thank you for mentioning this. I'm SO shocked that Bella and Lillie and others continue to promote it. It's irritating to say the least.

    Don't crave it otherwise.

I’m lactose intolerant & I love cheese😔. There I said it. That thought aside, every so often I’ll take a zinc supplement, sometimes it’s in a liquid form so it leaves a bit of taste in my mouth, I’ve read that if the zinc doesn’t taste nasty then your low on zinc. I’ve noticed that it makes cheese taste even better, it seams to amplify the flavor.
