Omg that cake is beautiful!!😍🖤 For cleaning the cornstarch on fondant i use a small paintbrush and dip it in lemon extract, it removes the cornstarch & the fondant is dry after no stickiness hope this helps someone 😇

I understand that simplicity and less detail means a bit of a decrease in cost, but with it also making the cake look so much more incredible, I wonder if in cakes such as this you could charge MORE? Your cakes always turn out perfect because you take the time to level them and use your palette knife to straight everything out. Even when you did the stencil you saw where parts needed to be removed where i just couldn't see the mistake . You are pure genius. I guess part of it is because you're a Philly girl lol. Thank you for sharing and keep on caking 💜

I honestly believe your cake looks better, by far. In the original, there is so much space between the bottom tier and the top, that top edge, that it almost makes it look like it's tipping forward. Also the sharp edges of your top layer make it look even more elegant. The single flower is perfect and would definitely be my choice. One question though, why didn't you use any of that bling roll on the bow itself? Regardless, it's so gorgeous!! I always learn so much from you!

I actually took a piece and wrapped it around the knot of the bow and didn't like how it looked so I omitted it!
