I really appreciate how you went through this. I also love the fact that you acknowledge imperfections within yourself and as someone who readily has access to filler you choose to accept and own your look. Very good message.
The way you teach is so easy to follow ! And you give off such a comfort feeling that makes you want to learn more from you!! I’ll definitely be going back to watch your videos once I start my new journey as a cosmetic injector !! Thank you ! Ps. I love the message in the end !
Hello Dan! I'm an ENT doctor and I've already tried out your techniques. They are absolutely successful!!! And the results are incredible! Thank you so much for this assistance!
For people watching. Fillers can provide amazing results. I go for fillers. But as Dan explains, I had isquemia on nose and nasolabial fold after filler inyection only on my nose tip (with a prior surgical rhinoplasty). Do watch his video about emergency treatment with hyaluronidase. So useful.
This video dissuaded me from using an ‘injector bunny’ recommended to me to save money. I instead booked with a licensed facial plastic surgeon. This was detailed and informative. I can’t thank you enough for this video !
Great to hear. I’m a Nurse Practitioner, but I’ve devoted an enormous amount of time to medical aesthetics. Knowledge, skill & judgment + passion and an aesthetic eye will outperform some plastic surgeons that focus on surgery, instead of injectables. But in general most Plastic Surgeons are terrific.
I want your full training too! I understand that by law it cannot be in a public channel, but you are fantastic! Thank you for sharing your knowledge with everyone.
AWESOME! I have a depression in the center of the tip of my nose. It’s so ugly! I often consider getting filler in it but I’m afraid it might be possible to damage underlying structures and risk the depression being wider & more deep when it wears off and I might be too poor to keep up maintenance. I can’t risk making it uglier.
I am following you a long time ago, and I love it! You are such an excellent professor! Sincerely, thanks for your videos and keep doing like this forever! ;) Hugs from Barcelona
Thanks for the information. This helps give me more clarity as I have an indentation on the right side of my nose that I want to get filled and went to two plastic surgeons who gave me opposite information. One said cannula would be safer with a softer filler and the other one said to inject deep without a cannula using a firmer filler like Restaylne lift. Lol so confusing
You are so amazing and knowledgeable! I love watching your videos! Where are you located? Also, can you do a video on how to fix a button nose or slighting upturned nose via liquid rhinoplasty? Are threads an appropriate thing to use on the bridge of the nose? Lastly, where all can we use threads? A video on this would be AMAZING! Thanks so much for taking the time to make us quality and educational videos!!!! You are awesome💜🤍💜🤍
Dan, your videos are so informative!!! Im so grateful to have stumbled on your channel. Im have been injecting for some years but there's always something new to learn from you! Please keep the videos coming. I find your content very well researched, and challenges me to rethink how I've always been taught to inject. The fact that you are so thorough in your anatomy ( that is rarely taught amongst injectors) is much needed and appreciated! Thanks lots!
hey Doc! I have a QUESTION 🙋♀️: why don’t doctors use a UV light for injections so they can see the arteries? or @ least map them before hand? p.s you didn’t have to flex your perfect nose on us
i just watched a video where a lady injected right that artery across the bridge and the dr said it was normal she was bleeding so much but u could tell she was panicking
hello i had filler ten months ago with a surgeon as i have had previous surgeries so was very cautious however i have waited for months for the nasal bridge to slim down as it has been fat and bulbous since i had it done it was ok immediately after injection then it swelled up, i hate it. but he said its ok and i can have it dissolved but i am paniicking in case its dangerous or if it makes it worse? i dont think i needed it in the bridge only the end of my nose. can i send you a picture please. because its not gone as it i feel it should have it has left me unsure as to the efficiency of the dissolving too. is it dangerous injecting the bridge to dissolve also is it still as risky when you have it refilled again after the first time thankyou where are you at please
Hey Dan, I can’t thank you enough for sharing and taking the time to do those videos! One thing, you go over the injection of the injection of the collumela to lift the tip without giving any detail. How deep? Cc range that you put to correct the tip without adding to much projection? TT (thousand thanks)
Hello Dan! I really love your videos. You are truly a master in explaining the anatomy of the face and depicting the do's and don'ts of fillers. May I ask you, what is the little device called, you are using, measuring angles and the golden ratio 1:1,6 etc? Where can you purchase it? Best regards DocAmiri
This is extremely valuable information, thank you. I have been looking at liquid tip plasty options only. I am happy with the bridge and straightness of my nose, but the tip is very spherical/ too bulbous - particularly when I smile it droops. It does seem like the tip is a little more low risk to work with. Do you know how long a liquid tip plasty would last, and if so would it migrate as does most filler around the face. I would have thought that due to the amount of cartilage, perhaps not so much migration would occur, but I could be wrong.
Should the needled be aspirated (pulled back to see if any blood goes into the needle) before injecting? I've heard that's best but I see many nurses and docs online just go right in and inject. I'm from Toronto and looking for a good professional for fillers for the bump on my nose as well as to add some volume to my right upper checkbone as I had an orbitable bone fracture about 5 years ago and all the fat on that side of my face has gone down (even with the cheekbone implant put in a few weeks ago) I may see about a visit to Ottawa ;)
Hi Dr. Could you tell me if this applies for botox to slim the nose too? I went to this clinic that told me I could slim mine with the application of botox around the sides of the nose.
Hey Dan. I love you videos! I have one question. Do you know where I could find and order good quality calipers (angle caliper in this video) and the golden ratio caliper you are using? Thanks!:)
Since filler can migrate (and lasts much longer than seen) assuming everything goes well in the procedure what's stopping blindness much later after the procedure?
Hey Dan love the content! Can you do a video on botox for hyperhydrosis? Also I know people would love to here you talk about Kybella or some form of PPC. thanks!
Thanks for the suggestions Paulina. It’s much appreciated. Unfortunately Health Canada prevents me from posting anything related to the effects of prescription products. Botox and Kybella/Belkyra are both prescription products... otherwise I’d be all over it. Keep the suggestions coming! Thanks! Dan
I read on other sites that the most common patients for filler are those who had rhinoplasty gone wrong. But your video says rhinoplasty patients are too high risk. I’m confused and feeling a bit hopeless. Can you reaffirm there’s no solution. I’ve already spent a fortune on a correction which further went the opposite direction than I hoped for. I just want to look like me again. Feeling quite traumatized. This was my one hope to feel myself again. Please please respond
So, if I had a standard rhinoplasty before and I just want to have a minor adjustment with a filler, it’s a bad idea? The arteries are shifted and it’s dangerous? Did I understand that correctly?
wait between the eyes is ok?? i have a bump on my nose and its quite high unfortunately i want it straightened out without the avatar look but i was told in a consultation that i would have to have filler put in at the tip and to straighten the bump out
I’ve had a rib rhinoplasty in the past! I went to see a surgeon for filler & he said he was able to do it, regardless of my passed rhinoplasty. Idk what to do now!
Good video, but I strongly disagree when you saying that using cannulas over needles is more dangerous. The round tips of the cannulas have less ( and a lot) chance to go trough an artery that a needle. Moreover, with the needle you need to pierce throughly the skin at multiple spots to inject, using a cannula yiu going to use the same first hole that you made with your needle. Many reports prove that using a cannula prevents things like blindness or occlusion. Thanks

Great videos. Can you have Botox at the base of the nose to suppress the muscle AND have filler at the base to lift the tip at the same time?
lmaoooooo at 2:17 he right because I raan out of the video
For lateral nose filler, I thought a high g prime filler wouldn't retrograde because of its high viscosity.
Any chance of blindness tells me no way am I doing this
Hello dan, what about injection in the collumela ? Is it safe ? And could we go deep in the tip if were Always central ?

Hi
How do you inject a thick g prime filler through BD syringe? Its always been difficult to push through the small needle.
oh god now im scared
So is the nose tip safer to inject in then in between the eyes? I’m looking to only have to nose tip more defined / pointer
Wait so how deep is deep so it won’t hit an artery? Would it be an inch or more
Hi Dan, how long do you aspirate for with BD syringe?
Hi dr. Dan, how about lips injection? Is it risky?
Hey Dan, How do you do the transfer of fillers to the BD needle? and which fillers do you like for the nose? Thanks

If I just wanted to lift the tip, is there still a high risk?
There’s always a risk. The knowledge, skill and judgment of your injector is also going to be a factor of risk.
How can you really avoid blindness ?

Wait so to inject you have to inject straight down on the upper part of the bridge and for the tip you just inject straight up
