I guess I’m not in the loop of these new “stars”. I’d never heard of him until now. I had to google his name and I’d still never heard of him after looking.
I’ve seen him on the show “wild n out” years ago. But like most people I discovered him again due to his rise in popularity and the recent controversy for one of his jokes he made at his comedy specials.
Dr. Timothy King is the chief of plastic surgery at Loyola teaching hospital in Illinois, I have an extremely complex case up for panniculectomy, 2 surgeons wouldn't take my case and he did. He took time to refer to other surgeons who were more experienced with my specific condition, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, and we expected I'd have at least SOME complications cause I have a major history with wound healing issues, but I had ZERO complications. This man truly is ahead of the curve and deserves to be put on that list, doc! I've been under many surgeons knives, and he and his whole team took the BEST care of me. I offer him as tribute, lol.
Omg so I haven’t been diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos (although my seizure a few weeks ago did cause me to somehow dislocate my left shoulder lol) and I have POTS which I’m sure you’re aware are common to go hand in hand. Do you know what the slow wound healing is about? I tried telling a primary care I had recently about it and he shrugged it off and said it’s fine… LIKE EVERY DOCTOR DID THAT LED ME TO BELIEVING IT WAS ALL IN MY HEAD FOR 7 YEARS BECAUSE THATS WHAT THE DOCS AND PSYCH CONCLUDED. 14 years old to 19/20 I was suffering from pots and thought I was doing it to myself somehow. Do you know what the heck is going on? I didn’t used to heal nearly this slow at alllll. It’s so fucking weird.
I think this was a smart move on his part. He had naturally feminine features, and the implants (specifically the jaw) give him a more masculine edge to contrast with his full lips, softer nose and higher set eyebrows. No doubt it's helped with his career in comedy. Unfortunately looks matter in entertainment.
@@ElectricIguana I mean, we like to say shit like that about him but he's making more money than ever, selling out all his scheduled performances and, undeniably, he's more popular than ever. Unless that was just your sense of humor, let's face it: he's doing fine.
@@Matthew-ij3zm Yeah, I've never seen him perform so I have no idea. But I did hear hes sold out large arenas almost instantly. I guess he's doing something right.
@@drgarylinkov I don't think Matt has had as much work as you say. His cheeks look different because he's lost his baby fat...and the old photo you keep going back to is lit completely differently.
he absolutely had surgery. no one "just hit puberty" at 25... you don't just suddenly get a new jawline. if he is going to comment on it and make it into his stand up comedy, just be HONEST. you don't JUST suddenly get a new face as a fully adult.
Did he ever admit to any beauty procedures? Or are people ironically assuming this unfunny comedian had stuff done because of this UA-cam doctor's laughable analysis?
Anyone with functional eyes and brain can see the pics used in this video are photoshopped and filtered. But for some reason, the doctor doesn't care... Ridiculous.
I just started hearing about this guy because of the controversy he has with his new standup special. I didn't realize he was on the show Wildin' Out and had an "inappropriate interaction" with Zendaya.
I don't see why people think that cosmetic surgery is ever a bad thing. Attractive people have real tangible advantages in every walk of life, choice of partner, likability, trust worthyness, etc.
They don’t, they have an issue when people lie about their cosmetic surgery, like Matt. At the end of the day you’re attractive (unless it looks botched and uncanny like his does😬😭), whether it’s natural or not, just don’t lie about it.
I remember you well in the Chelsea Hotel You were famous, your heart was a legend You told me again you preferred handsome men But for me you would make an exception And clenching your fist for the ones like us Who are oppressed by the figures of beauty You fixed yourself, you said, "well, never mind We are ugly but we have the music" Leonard Cohen
Agreed. And on the one hand, I get why people are upset that society is based on this but on the other, it's easier to adhere to age-old societal norms than try to change society as a whole considering attractiveness and it correlator success are a fundamental on which modern society is built on.
As an Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist my job is to train people to correct their tongue posture (essentially mewing). You can learn to rest the tongue in the palate with a light suction as opposed to pushing up and forcing it. Rest oral posture is as it sounds, a resting position ,not something forced. At the beginning of therapy, the tongue will tend towards the original low posture it is used to, not because that is where it is supposed to be but because there is dysfunction/poor balance to the facial and oral musculature. If there are no physical implications you can make permanent changes to rest oral posture.
@alizapya wow!!! been in the healthcare industry for 30 years, never heard of this. Have even worked with ST's...and what's the purpose of this type of therapy?
6:00 you're referring to "vaccuuming" and this has actually been proven to narrow the waist and improve strength in the rectus abdominus muscle group. "Sucking in" for extended periods of time will, in fact, strengthen these muscles, leading to a more narrow waist line. It's done by almost every bodybuilder at some point to showcase a flat, small waist in comparison to leg/back muscles.
No, there's regular sucking in your stomach like regular women would do in the mirror or for photos, and then there's stomach vacuuming that is more specific, with a specific purpose, it's more involved. Obviously he's comparing it to just sucking in your stomach, for that reason, it's more analogous. You're not strengthening, you're training your tongue to be in a different position. As for the chewing toys, the muscles in your face are optimally strong, if you strengthen it more than optimal (whether it be with a toy or because you grind your teeth) it can cause TMJ issues. There's no joint to worry about around your abs.
In just the last year my 20 year old developed a very defined jawline. Surprised me when I started noticing it because I had figured their body was done maturing. It definitely wasn’t cosmetically done. Makes me feel bad for those in the public eye who have to deal with weird speculation about normal changes in their appearance.
20 yr old males can still have changes like that naturally. Especially if they had some baby fat around their cheeks that can start to diminish around this age. But even so I would bet that while his jaw is more defined, it doesnt project more laterally (when looking at him straight on) than it did before his bone structure became more noticeable. (Like this comedians did.)
@@e.starling141Kiddo went from soft heart shape face (like mine) to Zac Efron jaw (like dad) in the last year. Was looking at pictures to send grandma a few week back and was like “where did that jaw come from?”
@@not_ahmadxDefinitely believe it. Been with my Husband 20+ years, since we were just kids, he about four years older than me but until he was over 25 years old people would think I was older because of how baby faced he was.
@@artheaux666 yes, his entire jawline changed and muscular structure and he aged. I have much sharper cheeks bones now than I did as a younger teen. It happens as we age. He always had high cheekbones.
Not a plastic surgeon (dermatologist) I work for, Dr. Leslie Gray, at Dermatology Center of Atlanta in Johns Creek, GA (right outside Atlanta) does incredible hyaluronic acid filler. She has a very natural, conservative approach to filler. Our patients love her and she is very acclaimed. If you ever end up adding other types of cosmetic providers to your website :)
Would highly recommend adding both Dr. Zol Kryger and Dr. Gil Kryger (brothers) in Thousand Oaks, CA. They did top surgery for me, which looks beautiful. Very well known in the community for this surgery as well
Wow, this guy reminds me of Cillian Murphy! First time hearing about him. Lorry Hill also did an analysis about him. I'm on the fence about his possible jaw enhancement. I have a friend who used to look like this guy in his late teens. Then, in his 20s his jawline got more defined and masculine. Maybe is part of his maturation process??? Hormones can do crazy things to our bodies. I can say this, because I started looking like a mature woman in my 30s! I had late, late blooming. 🌸
Great point. I also “bloomed” late. I’m 31. Around 27 my face slowly started to change. I developed dimples (first only the right side but now got one just starting on my left too), my cheekbones became more pronounced (which naturally happens to most as they get older anyway) & face overall became more thin. My dad has always had dimples but they get more defined as he ages, just like mine are. Knowing my face changed, who is to say his didn’t naturally? I don’t like the guy, but I can’t say with any certainty his face is fake.
I think it’s one of these things or a combination: •Steoroids •Testosterone supplement •Buccal fat removal •Botox To me it really doesn’t seem to be implants. As his jaw is naturally wide. Crowns and dental work can also really do a lot.
I think it was also a business decision. He was naturally more attractive and fitter than most comedians so he was falling into that “normal good-looking category” he probably also knew he had a good base to work with so if he became very attractive he could play on that in his comedy as he always does
@@tajsimms8976 I don’t get how he’s funny when making fun of yourself is part of being funny also. I ain’t afraid to talk about my flaws. It attracts the audience to the jokes.
what a lot of surgeons don't tell you and they typically also ignore it is that a small part of the inferior alveolar nerve that runs through the jaw / chin bone is usually permanently severed after most sliding genioplasties resulting in the permanent numbness of your lower front teeth. and some people may say: "but aren't your teeth numb anyway?" well no, they have nerves and if you eat something cold your teeth start to hurt. But what surgeons do try and protect usually is the mental nerve that comes out of 2 small holes just above your chin which if severed causes permanent numbness in your lower lip. The inferior alveolar nerve unfortunately runs inside the chin bone which makes it impossible for the surgeon to see and for some people this nerve sits lower than for others. severed nerves can grow together again but usually the other tissues grows together faster causing a sort of barrier that wont let the nerves grow together anymore but i heard that b-vitamins can help to increase the chances of nerve recovery. My brother actually underwent sliding genioplasty 4 years ago and his lower 6 front teeth are permanently numb now which he says sometimes causes an "annoying sensation in his gum" because his gum is not numb just his teeth are
Love that you're providing suegeon recommendations! Dr. John J. W. Lee in Bryn Mawr, PA is an amazing plastic surgeon. He specializes in surgeries around the eyes and did an amazing job with my lower blepharoplasty!
I'm pretty sure his new jaw is the result of orthognatic surgery. This is something people who have strong underbites and overbites get to correct their bite, and isn't really plastic surgery and it is recommended by orthodontists to patients who have strong overbites and underbites. It is very common and changes your facial appearance a lot which makes people think it is plastic surgery. The reason why I think he had this surgery is because before it looks like he had short face syndrome, which is usually from a strong overjet or overbite.
You look sooooooo good! Those slav brows! Great video, too. Your list is so helpful, and I anticipate your career will continue to exponentially increase in success. 🎉 Looking forward to following it. By the way, I would adore if you collabed with Dr. Kirk Honda aka Psychology in Seattle, who is a therapist and program director at a Seattle university. I see many similarities between your approaches to patient care and personality, but also in how your differences will complement each other. I conceptualize a collab focused on your experience and wisdom in plastic surgery and his input on the psychology, vaguely. He majored in business in his undergrad, so you also might share that interest.
I love the way you call out mewing, I’ve been doing it for 3 years now and yes it’s exactly what u explain it as. The only bad thing I’ve gotten from it is excess build up from muscle under my jaw which makes it looks worse not even better. I still think that mewing can have a 1-5 percent change but not much at all.
maybe its not as simple, think how many years you have to spend with a bad posture to get a hunched back. now think of how many years as an adult you have to spend to get your jaw to move forward. i dont think 3 years is gonna cut it. like the previous comment said, if youre under 13 its way more likely to show results. you have to minimize expectations
it probably works a lot better and children/teens as the muscle use will instigate growth into the right direction. not sure about the effect on adults where the sutures of the skull are closed...however as we saw with steven hawking the complete absence of facial muscle use will have your face change as well so maybe there would be minor changes in adults as well, but that might take years or even decades to show.
Mewing is for long term bone changes, not to suck in the throat so it does not hang. Sucking in the throat is just an indicator that u are doing the mewing position correctly. Now holding that position with force in that direction will move the bones in accordance with each other. The battle against gravity can shift both directions over time
I'm not saying that's what's happened with him, but tongue posture changes your face. It's not, as you say, it looking better when the tongue is lifted, and back again when it's slack, but when a person always does it correctly (tongue to the front roof of the mouth), they always look better. The same with back and shoulders posture: a person may train themselves, or just naturally do it always. Me, I was slightly surprised to learn about that mewing (or however it's called) because that's where my tongue always is naturally (but also maybe because of orthodontics). With shoulders/back - I try to do it always right, otherwise my back hurts. And I don't "suck in" my tummy, but my muscles always hold the waist in place; I can consciously relax them completely, which would look worse, so I just don't do it, sometimes checking myself what I'm doing posture-wise. Truly, training yourself into always holding better posture for all the body parts is absolutely a real thing. That includes walking and other stuff (like checking yourself for frowning, grimacing without reason), and it's not exhausting or taxing, it's a very, very minor thing in the general scheme of life. Saying that as a rather lazy person who doesn't care very much about their looks (just to a reasonable, easily accessible extent).
I know him only from few yt shorts and he looks great to me. If he had work done it's excellent - looks like from maturing and hitting the gym hard. And men at 18 are far from their final look.
I had a My Ellevate neck lift and jaw implants done by Dr. Philip Miller @ Gotham Plastic Surgery in NYC. I’m beyond pleased with his work and professionalism. 65yo male here.
I think he intentionally flexes his jaw in photos. I’ve seen him live and yes his muscle is prominent but it’s not near as crazy as in photos. I would venture to guess that the muscle is bigger from posing that way all the time now that he’s SO famous and constantly on camera. I also think his face is leaner & certain features stand out more because he went from a gangly teenager to someone who works out all the time and has substantially more muscle mass. I personally like his natural laugh and smile, when he poses it looks crazy to me. His jaw gets so wide.
@@jameslight4391true but do it yourself and see. Relax your whole face and look in the mirror. Now do it again but tense your whole face. Drake is a major plastic surgery transformation that no one really talks about. Also, Kumail Nanjiani has COMPLETELY reshaped his face, jaw cheeks, and body. Jared Kushner and Elon Musk, had major surgery transformations too. Lebron James hairline surgery, Donald Tr*mp has had multiple hairline surgeries that are documented in his divorce court records, Kanye admitted to having lipo. The rapper Tyga got his hairline done too, so did MGK. I could go on and on. Men get plastic surgery all the time, it’s just that their looks aren’t scrutinized like women’s, so people don’t clock it as much. It’s normally hairline surgeries, jaw implants, veneers, plus steroids.
So many options today for improving looks (for the lucky ones with the big 💰😎💰!), though some of those procedures, especially for jawline, look very risky, and - yikes! - so painful.
I broke my jaw badly in numerous places; both mandibles were broken, as were my cheekbones, and my central upper and lower jaw were snapped vertically with massive dental damage in my teeth and gums being ipacted directly. I dont look the same to myself - my profile is slightly different and I have scars, my chin is recessed after the jaw was reset but it has been a long journey after the reconstructive surgery and overall i dont look massively different, objectively. My opening and movement of my outh is way less as it was such a severe injury there will always be limitations because the mandable socket was so badly fractured. I had my upper and lower jaw wired up for 5 months. That was probably worse than the rest of the recovery and the ways it affects you physically and otherwise. Like barbed wire, I swear to God. They also corrected a deviated septum at the same time and i was convinced my nose was a little straighter and less crooked; which believe it or not, when this thought was combined with the way I looked during my recovery period; which was extreme: I really missed the imperfections and was worried my unique family nose was a little less like it was. I had many thoughts about how people are able to drastically alter that area or the face in general and be so okay about looking so different. I used to hate my nose when I was young but learned to like it. And now Ive had time I dont think this procedure has changed my nose, i think the impact on my lower face was the thing I was projecting onto my nose, possibly. Dentally however I am not started in that area in terms of addressing that and I have been most emotionally affected by the results the accident left me with. I hope that my consultant in the new year will offer me dental implants of some kind as my teeth are truly set different, pushed together on the bottom jaw and pushed inwards, while the upper jaw i have broken teeth and they look terrible as youd expect. Dr G ive followed your content for years and it has been so strange to go through unelected but medically necessary surgery. Ive got several custom plates in my face that they had to put in to tie my face back together. It was pretty near what the doctors said was a pan fracture. If I had the money Id definitely be coming to you, Dr G for advice about this. Luckily Im in the UK and the NHS has been amazing and my surgeons have really been amazing and put me back together. So I will be offered dental work but I have worries as I have had a bout of severe depression after the wires came out, which I wasnt expecting and I have been smoking when I had not previously smoked in 4 years so Ive been a self neglectful and really low and now even though im going to be quitting very soon and Im out of the depression for the most part, I worry they wont offer me what I would have otherwise been offered due to me smoking and not looking after myself very well for the past couple of months. But I was lucky I didnt die in the accident, and I can now appreciate the fact that I had a severe accident and was able to get myself fixed. So the rest I will cross my fingers for. But sorry for the long comment. I really enjoy your videos and you seem like a sweet dude, Gary. Big love from Manchester UK 🇬🇧 ❤️

Meh - I'm not a doctor however, I don't think his facial changes are due to delayed puberty. Everyone gets plastic surgery these days, it's no biggie to be honest about it, so I don't get why some people try to hide it.

Dr. Robin Hamlin of Bradenton, FL. She’s done a lip lift, facial fat transfer, nose biopsy (basal cell), breast lift, lip biopsy. Doesn’t advertise, was recommended by my dermatologist, prices are reasonable, she’s honest about her recommendations and will not do surgery if it’s not the right choice.
People are tripping....he never mentions natural aging, lightning and camera angles, the face structure changes so much when we age, especially if he started workings out. I know for a fact that I went from an oval shaped face to a diamond one and my cheeks also became sucked in and more defined....plus whe I modelled they taught us how to position our heads to make our faces and jaws more defined and to suck in the cheeks even further...he compared an outdoor smartphone selphie with strong sun coming from behind to a professional photo took in studio with perfect lightning and a professional camera and lens that won't distort facial features. Also I'm sure in the professional photos he also wore some makeup and that could mean countouring, that's standard practice. This guy since a very early age always showed signs of having a strong and defines jawline, it's very clear that it just grew bigger and more defined with age, especially if he also had a dental procedure. I guess when you become obsessed with looks you start seeing procedures everywhere in everyone and I believe there's a component of jealousy and envy...some people just can't accept that some times people are born better looking than them. Sad.
Plastic surgeon Dr. Carrie Black in Sacramento CA did my breast reduction surgery. I love my results. She maybe someone for your list. She explained things well and listened to my concerns. Great video.
Dr. Gary what do you think about Lori Hill's hypothesis that it is his giant veneers that he got placed in about 2015 that altered his face shape rather than surgery?
She’s usually right on the money, I was shocked at how off she was on this one. For instance, he now has a blatant step-down beneath his ear where he didn’t before- Lorry comments that he doesn’t. Seems like she just committed to the natural hypothesis no matter what but it’s pretty clear he’s had implants/filler. The masseter muscle doesn’t frame a person’s gonial angle like a consistent frame. Even new tension on a jaw wouldn’t create that picture-perfect elongation effect.
@@SB-hj9ue hmmmm you make some very good points. and I am inclined to believe Dr Gar's perspective more since he is a literal plastic surgeon but I do think her dental knowledge offers a really interesting angle that maybe he wouldn't consider as much. and I know he said he sees the massive veneers but he might not know how exactly that might affect a face. I would like to see them like collar or something and discuss

this sounds like a wierd question, but do you think matt's skull/jaw has grown longer since 18? i know the other bones of our body have growth plates that fuse once we reach skeletal maturity, but not sure if the skull works the same way.
I feel like sometimes you’re just reaching.. I don’t like Matt (and wouldn’t care if had anything done) but its very clear that the minor changes youre trying to ascribe to surgical implants here are just results of natural aging and losing facial fat. MAYBE some filler in the outer parts of the jaw, but i wouldn’t go any further than that
I think if Matt has had surgery, he's done it very well to the point that it really could just be natural aging. He's getting close to 30 and I remember in my mid 20s I noticed my face changing slightly in a similar way. I've always had high cheekbones, but i have sort of a baby face but a few years ago I noticed that my cheekbones stand out more now because of a loss of volume in my cheek fat.

Maybe a good expansion for the future? Thank you for reading if you do. Honestly I love how respectful you are and open about your own personal aesthetics:)
I'm not sure if I think he has procedures. His changes are believable enough so even if he did, they fit and are well done. I have absolutely watched men lean out and grown up and look much more masculine over time. Like you said, he definitely already has the baseline of his current features even when he was younger. He could even have gotten a testosterone boost and seen some changes. Especially since he clearly went to the gym too. I've seen trans men develop a masculine jawline non-surgically. The teeth he upgraded for sure. If I was going to suddenly be on camera and suddenly had way more money, I'd probably be making sure my appearance was on point too.
what is the downtime of jaw surgery (repositioning of bones by cutting then using screws) vs jaw implant... I am assuming the implant is safer with lower downtime
What kind of jaw surgery are you curious about? From my research, a sliding genioplasty and chin implant have about the same amount of downtime as far as external swelling and bruising goes, although a cut bone is obviously going to take longer to heal than soft tissues. I had a sliding genioplasty (SG) about 3 months ago instead of a chin implant mainly because I didn't want to deal with the potential complications of having a chin implant such as the visible scarring from a submental incision, bone resorption potentially eroding into the teeth roots, and potential implant migration. An advantage of a chin implant is that the risk of chin ptosis is reduced since the mentalis muscle isn't cut in the submental incision. I have a medical background as a former surgical tech, so I thoroughly did my research on both types of procedures and decided on the SG after consulting with my amazing surgeon during the surgical preplanning stages. In my experience, the majority of the swelling subsided after a week of being on a liquid/soft food diet. My chin was taped after surgery to prevent hematoma formation and to keep the chin area still (the mentalis is cut during surgery and reattached using absorbable sutures), but 3 days after surgery when my surgeon took the tape off, the bruising was yellow and the swelling was mostly under the chin and lower face. The pain wasn't too bad, but I was on an alternating cycle of ibuprofen and acetaminophen that worked well. Strangely though, oxycodone didn't work for me. Anyway, I took 2 weeks off before going back to work and honestly, most of my coworkers couldn't even tell that I had done anything except one side of my smile was slightly higher due to the left side being slightly swollen and taking longer to heal in general, but I absolutely love how I look after surgery. My jawline is more defined now that the double chin is gone, and my chin is in better harmony with the rest of my facial features. My nose even looks smaller! Ultimately, you would need to research either a plastic surgeon and/or oral maxillofacial surgeon and schedule a consultation as every individual's anatomy and cosmetic goals will be unique. Feel free to ask any questions if you'd like to know more.
Love the idea of having a list of surgeons. I would say for rhinoplasty in NYC, Dr Dara Liotta and Dr Alex Montague are some surgeons I think should be on the list.
Is it possible his skull got taller as well? Not just his jaw changed but his entire face/skull just seems slightly bigger. I know the sutures or growth plates of the skull close super late so is that a possibility?
keep in mind photo filters can add definition...like studio pictures from old Hollywood with facial shadowing. The early pic is backlit, so frontal tones are flat and dim.
Been enjoying your videos for quite some time now. The only thing I wish was easy to convey is focal length on side by side shots. Not an easy thing to do though in a short video trying to covering a lot of content.
3:20 hey you are comparing a closeup selfie to a picture taken with tele-lens. The first picture also is in shadow, while the other with more light coming from above, giving sligthly more contour to his face. Its obvious to a photographer that you cannot compare here like you do. Matt has gone through similar phase like myself, getting older but mainly getting lower bodyfat when working out much more. When Im at a certain low bodyfat I too get crazy jawline. While when its winter and im on my +7kg period, its way more soft the jawline. The "holes" on cheeks as talked about in 7:40, thats him sucking in his jaw a little to enhance the already existing "holes" alot of people get when theyre shredded. A typical model trick to look a bit better and more model like. This looks even better if youre already shredded. Ive done this myself too alot. So no, its not a surgery. Matt has done teeths, thats it.
No doubt. Rafe has what i call 'plastic surgery face,' which is to say that it's been altered, which you can tell, even if you can't exactly put your finger on how.
He's definitely had veneers, but I doubt the implants and buccal fat removal. Considering his age/still being in the developmental stage, plus the fact that he got jacked, so the fat loss from his face, giving it more definition, would be expected.
I agree, he definitely didn't get any jaw surgery or cheek implants. He is just on roids which cut his baby fat and made his already square jaw look even bigger. If he had anything done, it's buccal fat removal, but I don't think he had enough to remove in the first place.
actually mewing isnt just the movement but the habit if succion holding the tongue, implementing corret swallowing patterns and better breathing habits. Therefore an total upswing and better foward development of the face is possible since the tongue has a primal function of keeping our face structure (maxilla and therefore mandible) in check. Also in grown ups the skeleton renews consistantly. I didn’t know this guy had been famous for years. I’ve only recently heard of him.
Because he only got good looking in the past few years 😂😂😂The lookism blackpill is undefeated
Is he one of those people who are famous for being famous?
I guess I’m not in the loop of these new “stars”. I’d never heard of him until now. I had to google his name and I’d still never heard of him after looking.
I’ve seen him on the show “wild n out” years ago. But like most people I discovered him again due to his rise in popularity and the recent controversy for one of his jokes he made at his comedy specials.
He was on Wild N Out when it was on.
Now if only he could get a sense of humor implant 🤣
Lol, his plastic surgery made him look kinda weird

You can but it’s rare to have top tier genetics

he absolutely had surgery. no one "just hit puberty" at 25... you don't just suddenly get a new jawline. if he is going to comment on it and make it into his stand up comedy, just be HONEST. you don't JUST suddenly get a new face as a fully adult.

They don’t, they have an issue when people lie about their cosmetic surgery, like Matt. At the end of the day you’re attractive (unless it looks botched and uncanny like his does😬😭), whether it’s natural or not, just don’t lie about it.

Interesting! My tongue is sucked to the roof of my mouth right now n I hadn't even notied! Glad to hear it's considered good posture
And do your patients get a whole new face?
@@lauralvw8445 in some
Cases there are significant facial changes yes.
@alizapya wow!!! been in the healthcare industry for 30 years, never heard of this. Have even worked with ST's...and what's the purpose of this type of therapy?
Mewinng only work sif you have the genetics.
Lady this isn't a random guy speculating about a random person. What an interesting thing to take away from this.
in fact i believe men complete maturation , at least facially at 27ish. And the bone structure obviously keeps changing throughout life time

This makes the most sense, he definetely got veneers, but I think that´s it
Bruh this is more than veneers. Dude looks like the joker’s little sister transitioning to be his brother.
No. A change in bite only changes a bit. It can not alter your entire jawline. Its surgery. Point blank.
What about his cheeks/cheeckbone? Is that also veneers?
@@artheaux666 yes, his entire jawline changed and muscular structure and he aged. I have much sharper cheeks bones now than I did as a younger teen. It happens as we age. He always had high cheekbones.

Weird & out-of-place advertisements. Have some respect. Post your ad somewhere else. I’m here to watch Dr Gary’s analysis.
Same with the late blooming. It looks like I had cheek implants now in my 30’s compared to my early 20’s.
I think it’s one of these things or a combination:
•Steoroids
•Testosterone supplement
•Buccal fat removal
•Botox
To me it really doesn’t seem to be implants. As his jaw is naturally wide. Crowns and dental work can also really do a lot.
I think it was also a business decision. He was naturally more attractive and fitter than most comedians so he was falling into that “normal good-looking category” he probably also knew he had a good base to work with so if he became very attractive he could play on that in his comedy as he always does
Many celebrities do this. Its pretty much an investment people are biased towards people who are pleasant to look at.
Except he isn’t attractive 😂 at least for me. I think the plastic surgery didn’t help.

what a lot of surgeons don't tell you and they typically also ignore it is that a small part of the inferior alveolar nerve that runs through the jaw / chin bone is usually permanently severed after most sliding genioplasties resulting in the permanent numbness of your lower front teeth. and some people may say: "but aren't your teeth numb anyway?" well no, they have nerves and if you eat something cold your teeth start to hurt.

Hey neighbor. I got Botox at Lux
It made his face more masculine, but it doesn’t look natural. It’s too chiseled. He was so much more handsome before.
The reason why I think he had this surgery is because before it looks like he had short face syndrome, which is usually from a strong overjet or overbite.
an orthodontists recommend what you said but im scared, i dont want to do it

I love the way you call out mewing, I’ve been doing it for 3 years now and yes it’s exactly what u explain it as. The only bad thing I’ve gotten from it is excess build up from muscle under my jaw which makes it looks worse not even better. I still think that mewing can have a 1-5 percent change but not much at all.
I think mewing works on children under 13 so they dont develop mouth breathing habits
maybe its not as simple, think how many years you have to spend with a bad posture to get a hunched back. now think of how many years as an adult you have to spend to get your jaw to move forward. i dont think 3 years is gonna cut it. like the previous comment said, if youre under 13 its way more likely to show results. you have to minimize expectations
remember that youre trying to move bone, its not just muscle, its not like doing push ups for 30 days , not even 3 years is enough for an adult
@@oui2611 you move teeth by moving bone, it works the same. Braces on adults don't work as good as on minors because they're no longer developing.
it probably works a lot better and children/teens as the muscle use will instigate growth into the right direction. not sure about the effect on adults where the sutures of the skull are closed...however as we saw with steven hawking the complete absence of facial muscle use will have your face change as well so maybe there would be minor changes in adults as well, but that might take years or even decades to show.
Yep tounge posture changed my face / jaw, and made my entire face more symmetrical!! Mewing is a life saver😅 the name for it is Orthotropics 🤍

Posing in a photo wouldn't make your jaw bigger especially since he most likely edits it
@@jameslight4391true but do it yourself and see. Relax your whole face and look in the mirror. Now do it again but tense your whole face. The rapper Tyga got his hairline done too, so did MGK. I could go on and on.

This whole time, I thought he was the Godfather of Mewing 😂😂
Sad.
If anything, maybe the anabolic steroids, since he's also ripped. He has admitted to veneers.
Gosh, your voice is damn near hypnotic!
It’s worrisome how many people in the comments think he looks better now. He actually looks very strange and just off. It’s way too much.
it reminds me of this random comment i read *ages* ago as a teen, on a very square faced supposedly handsome actor: "bro, he looks like a foot." now, all very square faced male remind me of firm surface of a foot, help. 🤣
He looks ai generated now.
this sounds like a wierd question, but do you think matt's skull/jaw has grown longer since 18? i know the other bones of our body have growth plates that fuse once we reach skeletal maturity, but not sure if the skull works the same way.
I've always had high cheekbones, but i have sort of a baby face but a few years ago I noticed that my cheekbones stand out more now because of a loss of volume in my cheek fat.
he lies about having work done. thats why people are annoyed
How did you lose that volume in your cheek fat cuz I also have fairly high cheek bones but baby faced
@@moneymakinmitch8130 Idk It was just an aging thing.
@@LegallyBoopy I’m 22, you think I could experience that sometime soon ?
@@moneymakinmitch8130 I noticed it most when I was into my mid 20s so maybe but I think everyone ages differently. You are wonderfully made just as you are.
That list is gonna be so helpful! Hope there will be european doctors on there soon! Could u also explain why and if board certified is important. Is this world wide?
Is there any way to ADD some fat to these area's , i have a prominent jaw , like these type of ones and i really don't like it , if i eat MORE will it eventually fill out those area's or is it just a natural facial structure i have to deal with , id love to just make them look more plump and not so thin in the cheek area's
Could you do a video on Omid Scobie? He made quite a transformation. It would be interesting to know what he likely did.
yes!! i was shocked to find out he’s in his 40s when he looks 18!
@@085cur1tyAnd It's not just that, just look at what he looked like in his early twenties. I'm curious what he all did, and how common it is.
Are there photos of him before he became famous due to Meghan Markle though? How would he see the differences?
@@martafiord there is at least one picture online in which he looks very different, and more like a middle eastern guy. Also the colour change is immediately noticeable. There is s bit of a MJ thing going on.
My son was like this guy, he blossomed and now has very high cheekbones and very strong square jawline, and I can tell you he has never had any cosmetic surgery. This could be just getting a bit older and gaining a few muscles lbs. My son also had braces, and this impacted his jawline.
Great analysis! I can recommend my plastic surgeon, Dr. Kevin Tehrani in New York, NY and Great Neck, NY. He did my tummy tuck and does my cheek fillers. His work is excellent.
Great analysis Doctor, I enjoy your videos
The amount of men just not willing to accept finesse plastic surgery exists in this comment section.. 😂
on ur feel confident website, under beauty experts, I don't see 'any' that's listed from my city n state, Bellevue, WA. is that because simply there's no one really specializes certain procedure? is it not worth getting any done in my area? better going to one of the cities or stats mentioned on fee confident?
it makes me wonder if a plastic surgeon ever feel discredited when one of their patients denied ever having a plastic surgery knowing thats their hardwork on that face 🤔
I suspect they go into it knowing there will be an NDA with public figures
A plastic surgeon made a TikTok about creating the greatest jawline ever for his male client only to have them get cancelled without naming the person, and Matt Rife commented that lying about medical history is illegal!
Always like to see male analysis videos. Thank you. Love the channel!
Great anatomy lesson ❤
Your site list seems pretty rebust and you seem like a genuine person (love seeing your brows come back in over time BTW!)
Do you know of any recommendations for London in the UK? Maybe a good expansion for the future?

I've been waiting for this analysis lol
Mewing works and so do jaw exercises. And you do actually tighten your gut/core when doing ab exercises.
what a coper 😆

Hellodoctor, can u explain me why men's latheral eyebrow is usually less dense?
Thanks in advance
He's pretty handsome now, he probably should stop procedures now, he looks really fantastic.
He looks like handsome squidward
keep in mind photo filters can add definition...like studio pictures from old Hollywood with facial shadowing.
He definitely had work done.
No doubt. Rafe has what i call 'plastic surgery face,' which is to say that it's been altered, which you can tell, even if you can't exactly put your finger on how.
7:43 just creepy. To do that to yourself when you're any age is sad but 24? 😢

He's definitely had veneers, but I doubt the implants and buccal fat removal. Considering his age/still being in the developmental stage, plus the fact that he got jacked, so the fat loss from his face, giving it more definition, would be expected.
Same thoughts
I agree, he definitely didn't get any jaw surgery or cheek implants. He is just on roids which cut his baby fat and made his already square jaw look even bigger. If he had anything done, it's buccal fat removal, but I don't think he had enough to remove in the first place.
Dr Falkenstine is my favorite plastic surgeon
actually mewing isnt just the movement but the habit if succion holding the tongue, implementing corret swallowing patterns and better breathing habits. Therefore an total upswing and better foward development of the face is possible since the tongue has a primal function of keeping our face structure (maxilla and therefore mandible) in check. Also in grown ups the skeleton renews consistantly. Therefore keeping up and implementing good habits long term gives people the chance of positive change as well as vice versa bad habit will deform your face or body. Orthotropics has been proving and replicating these statement for decades
FINALLY!!!! I've been wanting to see this😂😂😂😂
