Do you need to worry about hitting an artery if you are doing a mesotherapy? The needle is only 4 mm in length I saw most demo the practicianer inject in a grid like pattern so it doesn’t seem to worry about hitting an artery? If you are injecting a mesotherapy solution vs a filler does that mean it is safer? (Less chance of vascular occlusion)
I love it!!! This was the best so far
Howcome your videos and explanations are infinitely more comprehensible than any others? 👍
Thanks
Thank you

Can you do one on safety zones specifically for tear trough fillers?
Octavia Absolutely. I’ll be posting more safety videos soon. Thank you for the comment and recommendation.
@@danestheticsmedical Excellent, thanks! Maybe it can also include the upper cheeks? Since a lot of injectors fill the upper cheeks first to help with the hollow

Thank you soooooo much for this helpful video, you are such a great teacher 🙏🏼
Hi from Italy.
I'm really impressed. I'm not a doctor, and as patient I'm a little scared.
How can a doctor know where my arterys are? We are all different!!
is it enough to aspirate with the syringe after being inlaid with the needle? My doctor do this, but I'm scared now...
Thanks you are very professional!

Vanessa Favilla do your research on your providers. Reputable providers will know the locations and depths of the arteries.
top doctor !! pedagog as we need !!!!!!!!!!
Thank you! I’m a Nurse Practitioner. Spread the good word :)

More to come!
Dan
Thank you so much for the video.:) you are a great teacher. Were the supratrochlear artery and supraorbital flip flopped, where you drew on your face?
You should talk about radiess or the type of inyectables.
This is so so helpful!
You look so young to be a doc😮😊I have a question about lip injections and vascular occlusions. What arteries are they hitting when it happens and are those arteries superficial? I’ve seen it happen even when doctors aren’t going in the wet dry border.
Sylvanna Mitrevska I’m a Nurse Practitioner!
The arteries hit at the inferior and superior labial arteries. They usually run deep in the wet border.
Hey bel homme ! Vous êtes le meilleur. Je suis en train d'apprendre des lessons scientifiques sur l'autonomie faciale. Merci mille fois

There are risks with any injection, but Chin fillers are generally safe. Please see my video on chin fillers including anatomy risks.
Such an informative video. Thank you for making it. Is there a chart somewhere to see the average depth of all the important arteries on the face?
Jana thank you for the kind words. Not that I’m aware of, unfortunately. It’s one of the reasons why I made the video
I just love the way you teach, your amazing please keep them coming....
So many say for piriform apuerture go deep to the bone? You instruction makes more sense but so many different ways.
You are amazing. Thank you so much 🙏
Hi Dan I’m starting my journey with your knowledge and expertise . Ty but your program mislabeled the infraorbital and supraorbital arteries !!❤
You’re Excellent. Tks a lot for your clip. Very helpful.

Please see my latest video on depth of fillers!
Excellent Dan
Thanks!
No problem, my pleasure!
thank you❤
thank you so much for your fantastic and easy to understand videos!!!!
My pleasure! Happy you’re enjoying them.
That was super easy to understand and very informative. You wouldn’t happen to do videos for Botox placements and what effects injecting have on face. Looking to balance and lift my brow without looking like Spock 🖖🏼
Larry Paskow thank you for the kind words. I posted a video on botox for the forehead. If you haven’t already done so, check it out! There are other ways to raise an eyebrow. I’ll be sure to post a video about it. All the best.
Dan.
Your content is superb
Great videos! where can i find good anatomy resources for the face?
Hi Dr Dan.. can you talk about the dangers of filling the philtral Columns above the lips, how deep or superficial.. is it a no go area? Thank you..love your videos.
Hi, yes you can safely inject fillers subdermally in the philtal columns.
Thanks for commenting!
All I can say is I found a gem ! You are awesome
This is so coool doctor
thank you
Amazing explanation!
Great video! I've just discovered your channel... Can you please advise if this also applies to botox injections? And are there risks for HA filler in the neck?
This was so amazingly helpful! I’m a visual learner so the end was perfect. What are your thoughts on cannula injections? How much safer are they?
staci satterfield 🙏🏼
Cannulas are safer and cause less bruising. But needles are sometimes necessary for better accuracy in certain areas of the face. Hope this helps!
Dan
Thanks a lot, very informative
Natasha Synelnykova Thanks for the shout out Natasha!
All the best.
Dan.
You are the best👍
Hi thank you for your videos, always informative. How or the arteries of the nose tip goes? still superficial? Thank you for your answer :)
Your videos are the very best. Very informative and a lot a visual. Can you do a video on threads, on lower face? Thanks for sharing your knowledge>
Arod Senele Thank you! Unfortunately PDO threads are not yet approved by Health Canada. I’ll be sure to post about it when it’s available to us.
All the best!
Dan
Great video! Is it dangerous to use a hyaluron pen with filler for horizonital neck lines? I wonder if it could cause occlusion...?
This is sooo helpful ❤️ Thanks alot sir
Great video
Thanks! Feel free to check out my All Access Pass ua-cam.com/channels/IP0tRZkyC0r-cRYZBGg0Sg.htmljoin
Fascinating!
Great video! Do the complications happen with threads also?
No. But there are other complications that can happen, such as dimpling & scarring
excellent
Can I put filler on the side of my lower temple since I have lost volume there or is that as dangerous as top temple?
What the depth of artry in the lip and who can i injection filler deep or superficial please explain me how can i khow i not inject in artry ?!?!??
That’s great information 🙏🏻. So I assume filler at the top of the nose to smooth out the bump is considered high risk then?
Yes!
Hello dear.please respond . I got 2 dark line from the corner of my mouth to the chin in an angle . And after watching this video i feel like it’s facial artery. Am 23 years old female and never had anything done to my face. Is it facial artery in dark lines or something else. Please respond to my concern.🙏
Thanks so much. Great video
My pleasure! Thank you
hello hello !! my question is aout the nasolabial fold ...sorry can you (re)explain me?! we need to inject deep or superficial ? I understand superficial but ...i also heard that the arterie is superficial ....help me please !! thank you !!
Hi Dan, I'm sorry, I don't understand English well and the translator is inaccurate... Do I understand correctly that the risk of BLINDNESS only has a vessel and that's the one along the nose (angular)? Are other vessels such as the one in front of the ear and the one under the iris safe for blindness?
LMFAO, you are so funny! i bet your patients love you!
Do you have to aspirate for Botox?
Thanks Dan! So informative. Are the cheeks and chin pretty safe to use filler on then?
There’s always a risk. But the chin and cheeks are relatively lower risk for arterial occlusion.
All the best!
Dan
I love it. He is the best!
Love this video! thank you!
Thanks! Feel free to check out my All Access Pass ua-cam.com/channels/IP0tRZkyC0r-cRYZBGg0Sg.htmljoin
Well If I understand the labial artery are very close to the lip but very deep ? when we inject 1mm above the upper lip and down to do the Russian Lip, we are very close to the artery?
Love your video and knowledge on the facial arteries! I know this video is in reference to facial injections, but what are your thoughts on facial threading with PDO, etc. Do you do these as well? And what would you look out for when doing them?
Andrea Hovind thanks. Unfortunately threads are not approved for use in Canada, so I can’t offer much advice on their use.
All the best,
Dan
Hi Andrea- I'm 55 and do my own pdo mono threads. I've used them in my cheeks, lip border, neck and chest. I'm not a nurse or dr. And just speaking from my own experience, they are such a superficially inserted thing that I find it easy.. I've done well over 100 in my neck and face alread. Great for tightening skin and volumizing. Just bought more! Love them! Highly recommend!!
So informative....thank you
First of you are adorable second of, I was wondering if it is the same thing with the dangerous zone when you’re doing Botox. Especially in the area that you marked between The eyebrows and right on top of the eyebrows thank you and I hope you have an amazing day.
Hi Mary. Thanks 🙏🏼. Botox doesn’t have a risk for occlusion. So this really applies to fillers.
Question: If I created an option for my website, where you could have full access to videos that I’m limited to posting due to Health Canada rules, such as more fillers, botox, fat dissolvers and thread lifts. Would you pay a small monthly or annual fee? If so, how much?
All the best,
Dan.
Wow you are amazing! i have a questuon... how about the CHIN ? i have recessed chin and i need filler in there...
origano 🙏🏼 Please see my video on chin restructuring!
All the best,
Dan.
Can you fill the accordian lines in the lower cheek subcutaneously without hitting a vein or artery
Yes! Check this video out! ua-cam.com/video/Rl5pbDUR1r4/v-deo.html.
very informative thanks!
merci
I've had fillers done at the very top area of my nose bridge (like the beginning of the nose between the eyes) since i had a huge nose bump and wanted to smooth it out.. its been a year and a half since i've had it done and i'm thinking of a retouch just a bit hesitant of weather it's dangerous or not.. i'm very careful though to not have fillers done to the sides/tip of the nose .. What's your say on this Dr?
And also is it possible to get nose threads done while having existing temporary nose filler (Juvederm Voluma) just to lift up the tip of the nose a little bit and help smooth out the bump.. Many thanks🙏🏼
You can have fillers done again. Threads shouldn’t be an issue because of previous fillers either.
