@Kitty9chan I know a guy who died after the surgery and another who has chronic reflux now. Interestingly, the surgery changes their hormones too - not just the stomach size.
We don’t need to see these people in the shower or otherwise naked. I really believe everyone deserves some dignity and that most definitely includes these people. That is my only beef with the show. I don’t want to see someone trying to wash themselves yet almost every episode does this. Even if they don’t think they deserve dignity - especially those who don’t think they are deserving of anything - they should be afforded the same respect as anyone else.

Rosie Red these are junk food addicts and addicts can become very abusive when they don’t get their drugs. Abusive and manipulative. Some threaten self harm or just don’t let up until they get what they want.
As stated in the video, some of the husbands/partners were manipulative and would 'feed' these people, thankfully these amazing ladies realised that and have left that behind them

It’s an addiction just like any addiction smoking drinking drugs gambling and it’s very difficult to quit over eating because you still have to keep eating!!!
Jeanne Jenniges i disagree strongly with this statement. Food isn’t the issue for them. JUNK FOOD is the issue. They didn’t get obese by eating too many carrots or fish. They got obese by living on high carb, high sugar junk food. That food isn’t necessary to live. I promise you if they’re binging on vegetables and lean protein and exercising enough, they wouldn’t ever have become obese. They would have been more likely to become athletic.
It's not about the food, stupid people. It's an eating disorder. They have something wrong inside and use food as self medicating. Until you have worked through the emotional pain, that leads to the comfort eating, they will not lose weight. If they get psychological help as well as knowledge about healthy foods, they will lose weight.
I think they're addicted to the chemicals in the food as well as the endorphins or whatever that their brain creates from eating those types of food compounded with whatever else is going on in their lives. Regardless at the end of the day it is a form of addiction and a very serious habit that isn't easy to change. Good for them.
Plus, you can't say it's not about the food when they are going for specific types of food. Like the other commenter said, they're not eating a bunch of carrots. Comfort eating aka eating junk food eventually leads to a chemical dependency or chemical reaction in your brain that coincides with whatever emotion is triggering you to eat it in the first place. And yes, it's a serious mental health issue. These people are usually trying to get away from past trauma or even current trauma. I agree, the best thing to do is get to the bottom of your mental/emotional issues and learn about how to eat healthier.
The keto way of eating eliminates carb cravings, boosts mood, lowers anxiety, boosts energy, eliminates fatigue, lowers blood sugar and increases insulin resistance, lowers triglycerides, increases good HDL cholesterol, decreases systemic inflammation. Oh yeah, and you lose weight. And the food is delicious if you take the time to learn how to prepare it. I'm so very grateful that I found out about the keto lifestyle. Oh I forgot to mention , since your brain is using ketones for food instead of glucose, your risk of Alzheimer's goes down. And your lowered blood glucose levels deprive tumors of their favorite energy source. I'm so very grateful that I learned about the keto lifestyle.

Show this to anyone that says it’s impossible, it’s hard but it’s what you have to do to be healthy and happy, these people really are inspirational. They have their ups and downs like everyone else but in the end they did what so many fail to do and I think that’s commendable.
These transformations shows there is still a whole lot of hope for people who are severely obese. I'm sure their health have improved tremendously. God bless them all!🙏
i just want to say i'm so happy for everybody who went through this journey and accepted the help to change their lives congratulations to each and every one of you men and women i'm so proud of you guys
That husband of yours was using you as a fetish and when you wanted to be healthy he left. That man never actually loved you for you because sooner or later...the person will only see your personality.
I never understand why people who are (or formerly were) that size would allow the same thing to happen to their children. My mom was 400 lbs when I was growing up (she’s lost 250 lbs since then) but she did everything she could to make sure I grew up with healthy habits so that I wouldn’t end up like her because she knew how horrible it was to be that big. I will always be thankful that she didn’t allow me to develop the same unhealthy habits she once had.
It's so sad that these persons work so hard to loose all that weight and after skin surgery most still look deformed. There has to be a better way and fix their thighs and legs somehow , they always look fat. I admire their dedication.
That's because it is fat. Thighs are the hardest (aside from the waist) to lose weight in. There's also muscle being built underneath the fat which makes the thighs big too. The only way I can see is if they get fat sucked out in those areas, but insurance companies won't pay for that as it is considered cosmetic surgery, so the person would have to pay out of pocket and it is not cheap. It takes hard work and paying more attention to those areas, but eventually they can get the fat to melt away, but not entirely.
ALCzysz17 I have big thighs and arms. I dance, and have several pounds of muscle. But then I have 2 pounds of fat there, which makes me look fat. It sucks.
Getting that big does horrible things to the body, it literally deforms it into something like a fat caterpillar or grub. It's very hard to get a good shape out of such deformed limbs. Sad but TRUE.
DAYUM. These women are gorgeous!!!! You can absolutely tell their new lifestyle choices have brought vibrancy and vitality to their lives. WOW WOW WOW.
i was on an anti depressant that didnt help with my mood and instead just made me rapidly gain weight. it wasnt even overeating either, i just kept gaining and gaining. i was taken off of it a few months or so ago and have since lost about 30 lbs. im still extremely insecure about my weight because i had issues with an eating disorder before i gained that much, but i think im at a healthy weight now which is really good
Laura Gadille hope is nice but exercise an hour a day 3-5 days a week and eat good, healthy food two or three times a day and you won’t be physically capable of gaining much.
I think you have to eat massive amounts of calories to get that big. Like over 10,000 calories per day or something like that. If you live a regular life, you won't get that big.
Tess may seem healthy enough now but give her ten years and that all will have changed. It's a shame she's not interested in looking after herself to care for her babies. This happened in my family and my niece lost her mom at ten. Mom's body just gave out. It's wrong and selfish.
When I saw Nikki's first appearance, the first thing that instantly shot through my mind was "woah, she's so pretty." Weight doesn't define you. I could see the kindness in her eyes, and it outweighed any of her "flaws". I'm so happy for her ^-^
this made me cry actually because its all so positive and there is no bashing of the people who are improving their lives. its refreshing to see positivity instead of hate.
I find this show very inspirational. If someone who weighs over 700 pounds can lose 500 pounds, then I can lose 50. Watching them struggle, you become invested in their lives in a sense, and wonder what happened to them after the show ends. My favourite has been Justin, who was on just recently. Such a sweet guy. Really hope he makes it.
Wow. I am so glad these people lost the weight. It is very hard work to lose weight. I am glad to see them all happy and living good life's. God bless them all. Way to go !
Why would/ how could anyone hate this video?! I LOVE this video!!!! So inspiring. I've been trying so hard to lose weight. No I've never been as big as they have but 50lbs is really hard to lose. I was 180 and now 160. I don't cry as much when I see my skinny teenage kids eating hamburgers anymore. I miss being skinny. Stupid junk food.
I’m glad you guys presented these people in a positive and caring light. It’s very refreshing to see that humanity still has love to give. Great video.
Paula’s story is amazing. All of these are. Glad to see many have stuck it out and are stronger now and mindful. Amber also is just an amazing outcome. Oh and Joe! So glad to see he is doing well still.
Im concerned for the last lady, im glad she is doing well and has lost weight but you can tell she is still overeating and her daughter is too, she is leading her daughter down the same path and she has to be very careful. your kids dont know better thats your job.
Some passed away sadly 😔 My cousin did at 27 years old and 500lbs. Blood clots and a heart attack, he was too heavy and tried to get control of it too late
Adeldee brandy lost a loved one to this so I’m pretty sure she cares. 😒 And the op asked so I’m pretty sure the op cares. I care too. You’re the only one in that list who doesn’t so the answer to your nasty “who cares?” Is... everybody but you?
Obesity is such a common infertility reason. And ones they go down in weight. Boom pregnant. Not saying that it's all the reason but it's a common one.
@@suziekeuls7582 diffrence is usally girls with eating disorders regarding underweight loose their periode all together and usally they dont wanna be pregnant because it would make them fat. Whiles fat people Dont give a f if they are brining a child in to a life time of obesity and actually killing their own children by setting bad example and bad habits. Usally when kids grow up with a anorexic or bulimic mother ( usally they are that way years after having kids) the child dosnt want to tread in their footsteps and they can see how unhealthy it is. Whiles kids with over weight parents just see how happy their parents are when they eat and how much soda, candy, crisps and everything they can get. So they follow in their footsteps.

Show this to anyone that says it’s impossible, it’s hard but it’s what you have to do to be healthy and happy, these people really are inspirational. They have their ups and downs like everyone else but in the end they did what so many fail to do and I think that’s commendable.
After seeing a few episides where people on.the show actually.died...it's nice to.wstch the success stories..
Only one person died!!
@carol nelson I remember her. So stubborn!
I'm 115lbs I'm trying to be 100 I lost 12lbs so far I used to be 127 wish me luck!!
vivian nguyen Good luck with your eating disorder! LBVS
@@mrebecca1 I already lost it I weigh 98 pounds
These transformations shows there is still a whole lot of hope for people who are severely obese. I'm sure their health have improved tremendously. God bless them all!🙏
i just want to say i'm so happy for everybody who went through this journey and accepted the help to change their lives congratulations to each and every one of you men and women i'm so proud of you guys
Me:*shoves a handful of popcorn in my mouth*
Also me: 😳
That husband of yours was using you as a fetish and when you wanted to be healthy he left. That man never actually loved you for you because sooner or later...the person will only see your personality.
Respect.
The second lady I love her! She's so sweet. I'm glad to hear she's not with that jackass.
We need more "Dr. Now", he has changed so many lives and continues...ty Dr. NOW..
Those two kids at the end tho 💀💀💀
yeah it's worrying
@@bieberbeanlol how do you think our children got so obese... wasnt on their own
Yeah, this kids are fat. Pity really.
It's like Their mom's weight went to them!🤔🤤😧😕😔
Go Brittany, your story hit me the most, so beautiful inside and out. I'm so very happy for you. U look terrific. Well done. x
As far as i know, this can be avoided by working out during the weight loss phase to tighten the skin and avoid sagging skin
lose*
I have several friends that had this surgery and I’ll continue to support them. Life is precious and should be celebrated...
DAYUM. These women are gorgeous!!!! You can absolutely tell their new lifestyle choices have brought vibrancy and vitality to their lives. WOW WOW WOW.
They’re all queens! So proud of them!🤧💗
So happy for all these people. Wish them the best for the future.
Zsalynn is such a cutie pie. She looks like cute little doll!! 😍😍 Amber is cute too
Here I am trying so hard to gain weight...Wow, how the world works in different ways, God bless us all.
I went to school with a girl that was always under weight, and she ate like a horse.
i was on an anti depressant that didnt help with my mood and instead just made me rapidly gain weight. it wasnt even overeating either, i just kept gaining and gaining. i was taken off of it a few months or so ago and have since lost about 30 lbs. im still extremely insecure about my weight because i had issues with an eating disorder before i gained that much, but i think im at a healthy weight now which is really good
that's pretty badass man. keep it up
I hope I never get that big
You won't, balance your meals and throw some physical activity in you will be fine
Me too lol😂
I know where you are all coming from God bless you all and your families. Keep your chin up and your weight down!
Brenda Tajik which chin ?
Tess Holiday needs Dr Now
I love aTess Holiday but she seems healthy despite her weight n all, but we really dont know how she is behind closed doors..
@@Trinsolo tess holiday is kind of in between normal and the people on this show.
True
Tess may seem healthy enough now but give her ten years and that all will have changed. It's a shame she's not interested in looking after herself to care for her babies. This happened in my family and my niece lost her mom at ten. Mom's body just gave out. It's wrong and selfish.
yes she’s morbidly obese. I’m sorry but you can’t obtain that lifestyle and be healthy. The risks are so massive.
Doctor: "You have a 2% chance of getting pregnant."
Her: *Becomes mom of three*
This is incredibly inspiring! I love how you can see how they slowely Lose their insecurities, and gain more confidence.
Dr Now is awesome! Saving lives one courageous individual at a time!
And I can’t seem to lose 30 pounds smh
Cayla I hear ya, I'd like to lose 20 pounds !!
i'd like to lose 100 lb ;-;
3:19 ok but how did you find a live video of me
øhsnapitzyen Rude but
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
When I saw Nikki's first appearance, the first thing that instantly shot through my mind was "woah, she's so pretty." Weight doesn't define you. I could see the kindness in her eyes, and it outweighed any of her "flaws". I'm so happy for her ^-^
this made me cry actually because its all so positive and there is no bashing of the people who are improving their lives. its refreshing to see positivity instead of hate.
I love how she just said “I look cute” in that Regina George voice....xD😂
Good for them !!!!! The way they have changed their lives is amazing !
Soooo proud of everyone, it is the hardest thing you will ever do!
Try quitting drugs
Catherin Poole not everyone is on drugs!
@@jackwood1621 not everyone is a fat fuck
@@catherinepoole9485 not everyone is an ass etheir
@@kyleenorris2808 maybe so, but she sure has enough for everyone.
This really proves that anything is possible if you have a goal and work hard to achieve it. Very inspiring video!
Way to go !
And then there's Tess Holiday telling people being fat is healthy...
This vid makes me feel fat
It made me feel skinny lol.
Why? Ate you more than 800lbs?
Catherin Poole I’m only 60lb
@Rachel Whats Try not to get offended at people on UA-cam. It is okay.
Rachel you type like my mother....
Im scared i might become like this.. oh god..
Im only 11
I have faith in you, I'm scared too.
Just eat healthy, exercise, and stay positive.
I know. That’s why you have to own up to what your situation is like and accept responsibility. Something a lot of people don’t do now.
Just eat a balanced diet and make sure to exercise at least 30 min a day (thats what the teachers used to say)
You probably will. Sucks.
I'm glad for all of them. physical
fitness is not easy.
Amberlynn reid needs to pop on over and check this out...
That's what I was just thinking if they can do it she can to.
Always makes me feel better seeing people struggle w larger issues and overcoming them. Truly inspiring.
People are always like “never change. You should love yourself” but if you love yourself, you should change for the better and be healthy.
Great job to these people
If only it was as easy to lose weight as it was to gain it...
Well actually to some of us its opposite iwant to gain its also hard to be thin
Catsu Surname u I hate you!
@@Cosmosandchisme 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Great job, keep it up
Amazing!!! it is so hard to lose weight and I respect those who actually succeed!
How's about who failed loosing hundreds of pounds. How do they live now?
Nobody cares because they were lazy selfish people who refused to change.
Some passed away sadly 😔 My cousin did at 27 years old and 500lbs. Blood clots and a heart attack, he was too heavy and tried to get control of it too late
@@brandyyolidio4213 I'm sorry to hear that about your brother. I think some people can't change even if they want to...
pelimalol if they’re alive? Probably the same
Adeldee brandy lost a loved one to this so I’m pretty sure she cares.
Same with people who are extremely underweight. They become infertility but soon they gain weight. Boom fertility
Used to weigh 221.00 pounds four and a half months ago and know I weigh 179.00 pounds. I thought I used to look so good when I weighed that much but in reality I didn’t so when I became self aware I decide to switch it up and start eating healthy and working out. I love watching videos like this because it really pushes me to keep up the work I’m doing.
Whoa, I'm not even fat, but this is mega inspiring. I mean, I'd like to shave off at least 10 pounds, but I have nowhere near as big of a challenge facing me as these people did. Truly amazing
Funny how they had a chocolate ad on here
midnight lol
I just love how most of them smile when their really over weight, I think that’s why they lost a lot of weight. Also just smile no matter what’s happing even if ur sad or angry just smile
Very inspiring, love it
This was honestly so wholesome, props to those who proved people wrong.
I’ve watched this show and I’m not gonna sugarcoat this I’m 250 at 14 and this show inspires me to lose weight im starting on a diet and I’m working out
