A lot of work went in building that bait but it definitely paid off!! You nailed the perch pattern, the fish really like it!! Well done Adam!! Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks James! Definitely more of a struggle than anticipated, but we’ll worth it (and a technique also worth revisiting)! Appreciate you watching, and thanks, as always, for the feedback!
Bait making geekdom. Great video from start to finish. Lots of great tips for adding detail to an injection mold. Good instruction about the soldering iron. Thanks for the shout out about the beakers. Embrace the beaker.
YES!!! Beautiful color pattern! A color idea just like that has been brewing in my mind for some Katana Kraws I make. Black stripes, dark watermelon body, only with blue tips... Ohhh now I'm too excited to go to sleep!
Well… Sorry that it took me a whole day to find time to watch the video but it was a good one! Those turned out pretty dang sweet! Lotta work paid out well! Glad the idea of the bent out wacky is working for ya and yes… proud indeed! 😂 Diggin the looks of the first location too!! 👏🏻👏🏻
Thank ya my friend! Figured you would appreciate the addition, although I think I may ^^ the diameter for any future heads... maybe a little braided wire vs the super thin stuff. I lost one after the fish took a bite... but I wasn't complaining! Love that new location as well - I'm ITCHING to get back there with some chatter minnows and bigger swimbaits (upper side)!
That dam was a great place to fish before they put in the rock to secure it from collapse I've caught big fish there and seen a 28 lb catfish pulled out of there haven't fished there in over 20 years nice catch
Glad you liked em man! I’m going to try another approach and see if I can get them clean with the first shot. If so and it’s a repeatable process I’d love to start posting them on the site for sale! Best to follow me on IG, if you aren’t already, as I’ll post there if I can get it worked out!
YA !! EXACTLY what Epic Bait Molds Said 👇👇👇👇 LoL I'm kinda the same with the Air brush .. I'll either wipe it off or completely start over because it don't match up like the other side 🤣🤣
@@DavidFerguson-e8j thanks for the question, although I’m sure I remember which step you’re referring to. I only recall, black, orange, and a green pumpkin(ish) color - white would have severely altered the tone of those.
I feel your programs are the greatest{epic) I have been exparamenting with powder coating .how ever I am I treated with your parochial of by our use. If you have your molds heating up on the hot plate will doing the skin pouring and then inject your mold will it is still hot you should not have the cold cracks.
Awesome Video! Loved that you put so much effort and thought into the bait and rigging! It looked like you had a blast! Keep it up!
Thanks Ninja master! A labor of love for sure! With a nice payoff to boot!

Appreciate that Brian!
Very cool looking baits my friend
Thx Mike! I’ll be revisiting this one, if even just “on my own time”, to get a better process. So much potential here!
I like your work and you explain everything, and it's definitely easier to learn from it. Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it, found it helpful James!

Looks like it would be a good tube hook too for Texas rigging the tube
Can definitely see that!
I'm just guessing, but if you use orange flocking in combination with the orange pigment, it should solve the transparency issue.
True, luckily the extra drops of straight orange were sufficient! Thanks for watching and for the feedback!
awesome video as with the rest. great content . cheers!
Thank you much man! It was quite a ride!

The struggle is real, but worth it!!
Why didn't you add white to make it more of a solid color?

Where is the cheapest place to buy a 242? How much was the shipping cost?
That comes straight from Baitplastics (off their website). Order over $40 ship for free. :)
@@SDGCustomLurecraft thanks bro~
What soldering iron is that i need one of those
Glad I could send the link! Time consuming but effective!
I am super annoyed I didn't consider making and rigging that bait in that way before seeing this video... Why did I not think of that? 🤔
The beauty of fishing, there’s always tomorrow! Thanks for watching Josiah!

Yup, that’s the next approach to try (already in the works, LOL!) Appreciate the feedback!
