Dude! Absolutely stoked to see the beaver bait mold as well as the potential for some wooden baits coming to the channel! Love to see this kind of growth!
Nice man! I love me some jig trailers! MTC - deceptively difficult for sure! Sometimes I keep going after it’s full and accidentally push one side’s plastic back into the other side’s injector! Crazy 😂. But very rewarding when it works!
Thanks brother! Woah, you can push it back up into the other injector? I'll have to watch out for that! Yes very deceptive but I agree very rewarding at the same time!!
First time checking out your channel, and i love it, you have a great easy going personality much like myself, your shop is awesome, and your bait making passion is inspirational im looking to get into this hobby myself very very soon!
Just getting into the soft plastic making world. Appreciate the videos. Which hot plate is good for warming up my molds please? Pretty chilly up here in northern MI. I have a Milwaukee heat gun but it takes forever - doing my lure making in the garage but I keep some of my materials in the cabin and transfer as needed. Also, I use c-clamps when shooting my soft plastics. Any rec's re. a vise or something better? Thanks.
My hot plate comes from overseas so I don't know the name, but I do have the Amazon link directly to it in my video description. That hot plate is $70 though. You don't need one that expensive. You can go to Walmart or Target and pick up a Presto Hot plate / Griddle for about $35-$40. That's what most people use. Now if you want to get really boujee you can grab the Fishing All Out hot plate but that runs a cool $700, so any of those three will work great!
I don't sell baits, but you should check out Bobby over at @LastSwimCustoms He has an Etsy store and I know the Ned Crawler Baits are one of his top sellers. He also makes them using some of the 8bit Baits Holoshift powders too!
Yes I have, I own several actually, but the issue is they only hold the larger size jigs. I even have a 3600 Edge Jig Box and it also only holds the larger size jigs. These finesse jigs don't fit into the slots for the jigs, the slots are very wide and these Keitech style jigs are very loose. I have no idea why the product managers at Plano don't develop some smaller sized jig holders for different size jigs. It would be a simple thing to do and you can sell them as an accessory.
Hi Chris, the best place to get some Ned Crawlers is from Bobby at @LastSwimCustoms He has a channel here on UA-cam and an etsy store where he sells his baits. The Ned Crawlers is one of his best sellers and he can even do custom colors for you if you want. Tight Lines!
That would be cool, we can certainly work out a collaboration. Just let me know what types of soft plastics you use the most out there and I'll whip up some colors for you.
For the jigs you should reach out to Jacob on his channel. It’s linked in my description. He has an Instagram as well. For the trailers I suggest hitting up Adam at SDG Custum Lurecraft, he has the Ned crawlers in stock quite a bit. I will eventually be dropping some on the 8bit Baits store from time to time as well once I get set up for production.
@@baitchuckin the 5 inch green pumpkin 297! I think that’s their best selling one. I forget which company makes the mold but senko actually worked with them on a mold so it should be exact. Love the channel.
I don't sell the trailers, but you can get a hold of Bobby at Last Swim Customs. He also has a channel on UA-cam and he sells the trailers plus does custom color orders!
Who ever makes a true floating plastisol is going to make a lot of money dead on and M-F as plastisol that says floating it floats a little bit by it's self but not with a hook in it and you can add micro bubbles but that makes the bait / lure weak they brake and tear easy so you go throw a lot of baits i am working on some stuff
I agree for the most part. Most of the "floating" blends are mostly neutral buoyancy at best. This is why I use MF for my floating plastics and Dead On for my Sinking. I feel I get the best of both worlds that way. MF does have some plastic called "Super Float" but I haven't tried it yet. So I can't comment on how that works, but I do find the MF floating blend is a little more buoyant than the Dead On.
"Super floating" plastic was used in plastic baits by a few manufacturers in the mid 70's -80's (Super floater worms, Fliptail worms , Mr. Twister ) . There was some additive they used that would interact with the plastic making lots of tiny bubbles form in the bait . All these soft plastics were removed from the market due to environmental regulations I was told .
@@omelettedufromage11 I’m talking to the moron that said blah blah blah not baitchuckin. I love this channel and content. I think the longer format videos are awesome and loved the shop tour.

That trailer fits perfect on those little jigs 🙌 great video as always and appreciate the shout out 🤝

Thanks 👍 I appreciate the kind words!
Really cool video. I like the color combination you picked. Those Neds look awesome on those Jigs.
Thanks 👍
Happy to finally see you back! Great Video as always Michael. Keep ‘em coming!🍻👊🏻

Thanks brother!
That workshop has me drooling
Marling inspired you to upgrade your bait game
Your shop is inspiring me to reorganize and improve my shop
Thank You I appreciate that!!! I spend most of my time here in the garage so I've made it my own functional space.
Hello! no, l wasn't wondering where you have been. This is my first time here. So l am going to watch now.
Welcome! I hope you enjoyed your visit!
Shoowee 🙌🙌🙌 you have a ton of stuff. I can't keep my stuff organized like that. You have inspired me.
You can do it! I believe in you! Get that shop organized!!!
You might not want to call that a chatterbait. Zman is very protective over that name and design, especially the shape and size of the blade.
Ha ha seriously!!! Good thing I don’t make them, so they can’t come after me! 🤣
great videos. do you sell any 3" epic crappie slayer jigs or know some one who does that uses your products
I don't sell any of them, but check out N2The Woods, Jacob does custom sales. Cheers!!

Check out the Miniature Ghost Tints. I used them when airbrushing metallics for Warhammer 40k.
OK I will, who makes those? I have a bunch of the Citadel colors and shades that I use for my miniatures
@@baitchuckin I meant Minitaire. I believe they are made by Badger. Autocorrected to miniature.
OK sweet I'll give them a shot! Thanks for the suggestion!

Just curious do you have a okeechobee craw color recipe ?
Not yet! But it's one that I'm working on. Stay tuned!!!
