    What a surprise..!! It's 3:40 AM !! Oh how this made me feel I could do it again with the Ninja...I don't think I've
    used it in two months...or have I seen you in so very long time....I was going to sleep...saw Pressure Crisp &
    had to come... I LOVED this split turkey breast with your seasoning...I don't have it now but it'll be on my "must" have
    list... :) Oh how much enjoyment I got from seeing you here...AND feeling without doubt I really could make
    what you did....exactly... I especially...wholeheartedly appreciate it not being perfect & showing us how to restart
    the timing on the app... I need things like that...especially when watching a "super" chef.... LOVE your sharing!!
    I'm going to bed smiling...and I am going to start over using my Ninja...thanks Lisa...

      Yeah its been a while-super busy at work. But have rested and off until May 5th I think-lol. So I will be doing more videos and getting my garden started!
      Fire that Ninja back up-and of course you can make/cook what ever I do-It's funny I did this video weeks ago but because I made a mistake I wasn't going to put it out to UA-cam but I finally said to myself-nobody's perfect everyone makes mistakes and if another person can learn and avoid to make the same mistake I did-I would be happy.
      Yes get the Ninja Back out and start using it like I am!
      This comment means so much to me VitaZgal-thank you!
      Stay safe!

      in neighbors apartment(below) that they can't find up here behind washing machine or wall on other side so they've
      dec'd tomorrow they'll knock through both....Thank heavens for the masks we have! All will work out & I'll get back into
      the fun of the Ninja....I want to do this turkey breast with your seasoning...we'll see...If/when i do-for sure I'd post
      here the success....have to do that! Starting in your garden...that sounds so nice & rewarding..all the goodies to
      come...what all do you grow...is it floral or veggies? Take photos....sounds delightful Lisa....~cheers~ ~

      @@vitazgal9933 Oh no! They will work fast so you can get back to being a Kitchen Ninja! Weather is crazy here-Albany, NY-it's snowing tis morning. My apricot. tree has bloomed so no apricots this year-wah!!! I always tell the story-lol. when I purchased my old 2 family house I had to buy the lot next door for. a dollar-well that dollar has paid off-I have blueberries, raspberries, fruit trees, grapes, hazelnuts, gooseberries, jostaberries and a good size garden. I was and am still at war with woodchucks-lol. But put a fence up dug a trench around. and put chicken wire a foot down-no more chucks in the garden but they still feast on fruit that falls-don't mind this.
      I put in. raised beds for my. parent sin the back yard-about 3 feet high as my father cannot get up to. the other garden-little bit of a hill but Maybe I will put a path into side of hill.
      I also. purchased some potato bags for him to. experiment with and will be building a few more raised beds.
      And the flowers- I have hydrangeas-always make the sol acidic so. they turn blue and have accented with yellow Lilly type flowers these are perennials. I also have a small area of. black. eyed Susan's-in memory of my grandmother-her favorite. flower, and a multitude of other flowers. And of course marigolds in and near garden-keeps certain insects away while attracting bees. These gardens are always changing and evolving as I add and move plants.
      Wow this is long-lol. And I just ordered 10 more blueberry plants and 50 raspberries from the county-will. pick these up. the end of April-so I have. to have the beds ready. I will be putting thee blueberries in pots. as they will be moved down to a rural property that my brother and I own. And I can't wait to get started down there! Will be building a main building at the entrance of the property then numerous off grid cabins for family. We have been clearing. trees. and just starting to put a road in.
      My. twin brother and I complement one another-he can build (I never learned lol) But I will be planning and putting in an orchard, perennial garden of food and flowers, next year bees for honey and pollination, building a greenhouse, etc... It. will be a slow process but wee will do it over time.

    I just got my grill and tried it first time. Made a 5lb spatchcock chicken. Was having a hard time getting the breast to temperature while the other parts reached temperature. I did it on roast, 375F. 40 mins. Had to put the breast back for more time.

    • @pressurecrisp
      @pressurecrisp  4 роки тому

      Hi RobP!, Usually its the other way around-breast done first and leg/thigh meat take longer-this usually happens to me. Thanks RobP!

      Pressure Crisp I saw another review on this unit and it’s what I thought. It’s basically a glorified air fryer with heat source only from the top, which I wasn’t aware of, for baking and grilling? Overcooked dark meat, not the breast of a chicken.

    Wait. I didn’t get a roasting rack on my grill when I bought it. Do I just place the turkey on the deep oven thingy?

    • @pressurecrisp
      @pressurecrisp  3 роки тому

      Roasting rack is. an extra accessory. unless you purchased the Pro directly demo Ninja Kitchen-rack can be purchased at Ninja. kitchen. You. can place the turnkey. breast directly. on bottom of. roasting pan not sure if it will work in air crisp. basket.

    Hi Lisa, I was getting worried about you, lovely lady, with the virus and all and the fact you haven't posted any videos for a while or maybe I have missed them for some strange reason. That looked fantastic the trouble is I can't seem to get just the Turkey Breast over here! I am fascinated with that probe and meter app can you tell me more?

      Hi David, I work as a nurse so its been a bit crazy and stressful. I admit I'm scared. But the way my travel contact fell I have the month of April off-YAY! Was supposed go on vacation but I will enjoy a staycation!
      You could pick up a turkey and remove the wings, legs and then the back and end up with two split turkey breasts. UA-cam has. videos on how to break down. a turkey. The Meater is great-it was user error with he truly breast-me-lol. But I tried to use it making a roast yesterday and it wouldn't connect to my phone-this is the. first issue that I am having with it. Still haven't solved my issue but will attempt to look/fix it today. Don't want to be negative about the. thermometer because it could be a quick fix or user error again.
      The Meater does almost cook your food-the Meater app. figures out how long it will take to cook and its pretty. spot on unless the thermometer is not placed correctly.
      Thank David!

    It's good to see you cooking again. That looks so good! Did you split the breast yourself or buy it that way.? Just took some pumpkin bread out of the oven - we need out treats right now, or so we think. We are doing ok so far on the things we bought and froze, etc for meals so no need to go out yet. So sad to see all the diagnosed cases and death across the globe. They say here in Arizona that we could hit out peak from mid to late April. Stay healthy Lisa. Oh - I'm curious about your dehydrated cabbage. Did you dehydrate it in chunks, slices or what? For some reason it intrigues me.

    • @pressurecrisp
      @pressurecrisp  4 роки тому

      I purchased the turkey this way. Easier lol. But you could purchase a whole turkey and break it down (UA-cam videos on how to do it ) Remove wings, legs, back. and ribs if you wish-could reserve bones to make stock in the Foodi. Either AC the wings or make stock with them. Turkey legs are great in the Foodi or grill.
      With the cabbage I usually slice and cut it into 1 inch pieces for cabbage soup or will rehydrate and cook with butter and potatoes and onions. The cabbage rehydrates really nice for soup. I did pick up another cabbage the other day and want to slice/shred it and dehydrate and see if I can make the egg roll in a bowl with dehydrated cabbage.
      The situation. with the coronavirus is terrible. I'm taking it seriously and. I have strict protocols that I follow. at home-so I don't bring it home.
      I'm in upstate NY near Albany and we don't have as many cases. but we still. have them and there are many in the hospitals locally and also. the ones they transported up from NYC. And they aren't doing a lot of testing locally and people are afraid to go. to hospital to get tested for fear of contracting the virus and I would assume the same for the drive through testing centers. This is my opinion I think different parts of the country will peak at different times. Stay vigilant and stay safe!

      @@pressurecrisp Thanks for the info. I may need to look into a dehydrator. Who would think you could do cabbage!
      I bet you worry about your parents getting sick, especially your mom. There were several residents in a Tucson care center that got Corona. So sad. If we're looking at mid-sized April to first part of May for our peak we have awhile to go. It's good to follow your protocols. When we were still going out to try to stock up we'd leave our clothes in the garage until I washed them. Shoes too with disinfecting wipe. AZ is short on tests, like most places. That should not be the case since we knew it was coming.
      Anyway, Happy Easter. Hope you relaxed and rested.

      @@Cattitude48 I love the dehydrator-yesterday I did frozen veg and today will be apples. I try to go through my frig once. a week and see what I have and if something is about to. go. bad or I wont be using it-I will dehydrate it. Sometimes I. forget but I noticed in the last year I was over buying and throwing out a lot. of veg so I. set my dehydrator up so its easy access to it and use it more frequently than if it was wasn't readily available.
      I'm trying to be better as there be be coming food shortages and its good not to waste so much.
      Yes I worry about my mom in the. nursing home and my father. downstairs-but I have been very good about going out and then coming. back into the house. I don't go out much. Stay safe Cattitude!

      @@pressurecrisp I agree about sometimes having to throw food out. You really put the thought of a dehydrator in my mind now. Can I ask what brand you have? I'm going to start researching. Maybe you could do a video about it at some point 🌞 Thanks for your input - quite helpful 👍

      @@Cattitude48 I have the Excalibur 9 tray-its a bit pricey. but has paid for itself over the years. here is a. link to read up on the Excalibur amzn.to/2XLza4r.
      But any dehydrator will do to get you started. I do have an old UA-cam channel from 2011 its horrific-lol-what I mean is I didn't edit anything out and well yeah-you can check it out NY&FL Kitchen. I. do a video once a month over there-usually canning, dehydrating, and soon gardening.
      I used to backpack all the time or kayak trips. and dehydrated all my. own meals for these trips-as the freeze dried/dehydrated meals are expensive.
