You should be sure to relocate the rectifier. The 06-07 gsxr600s and 750s had issues with the rectifiers overheating and burning out. Happened to me when I had my 07 gsxr600, left me stranded on the road. Definitely a quick and easy fix!
@@BySixa because motorcycles have in simple terms a split alternator system. In the engine there's the stator which leads to the external rectifier which converts the power to what the bike can use for electricity. In a car you have all in one units mounted on the belt drive system. Same idea, just split in location.
I've owned for a long time 06 GSXR 600. And I can tell you off the bat. The fairings are 06, hands down, in addition with small details it's looks after market. I can't express how happy I am to see you getting back into the sport bike scene. I remember back when you had the H2 I would watch EVERY single one of your videos. Much love man excited to see the content coming our ways!

Finally back with motorcycle videos missed it bro keep it up I’ve been watching since high school when you only had a go pro hope you come back with that content!!!!! I graduated back in 2017 btw …. Stay safe!
I owned a 07 750 and it was amazing. Make sure to lookout for electrical issues with these. Stator and rectifier are prone to going bad. Regardless, missing her big time
Your lowbeam light is out. And the forks were painted. 600 has gold and 750 had black coated forks. I have the same bike bust blue. There great bikes. Can't wait to see parts you make for it.
Just picked up a k7 750 a month ago. Paid 7 but it only has 6k miles. Tons of upgrades some people may say I overpaid but that's the market now 🤷🏼♂️ I'm happy with it.
Been watching since I was 14, bought a bike a few years ago because of your channel, hoping to buy another one again next year. Love to see this content again
love to see you are back on a k7. I have the same bike, same exhaust, picked one up for 3k with 30k miles on it. previous owner re-geared without a speedo healer, so I assume some of the mileage is exaggerated. Cant wait to see more man, great running bikes.
There a stand with paddles that lifts the bike instead of using the spools on the frame. Venom stands are one brand. I know everything you need to know about these bikes. You’ll want to relocate that rectifier to the side. You can pound the stock bracket flat and use half inch spacers and half inch longer bolts.
Just a heads up. In Florida an old gixxer 600 with damage like that you can get for 3-4k. For 5300 I can get a 2012 600 all day with no damage and minimal work needing to be done
I just sold my bike bc I needed the money to buy a house. I’m so happy Dan ended up getting a bike a couple weeks after I sold mine. Fills my void. And now I’m looking for another bike😅. Thanks for the content Dan we appreciate it and you.
Harbor Freight sells a rear stand that lifts the bike by the rear frame and has adjustable grabbers and it's about $35. I use it for my 04 750 and never had an issue with it.
For phone mounts I use a Quad Lock. They're pretty cool, I've been using them on all my bikes. My harley and dirtbike haven't had any problems with the system. I also wrecked a Grom pretty bad years ago and my phone stayed mounted.
Your voltage regulator/rectifier is going to crap... You need to relocate it to the side and please only use OEM voltage regulator... Other one do not work it screws up the stator and your battery
Had the same year, reg/rec and alternator issues right off the bat. Do yourself a favour and replace both at the same time. In my case they were both faulty and kept causing the other part to blow out.
I’m looking for a 600 cc sport bike and I was trying to find a used one but I’m not sure if I should buy a brand new one or try to find a good used one any advice helps.
Get yourself an ABBA Skylift, I'm poor so I have their superbike stand, such a great bit of kit, I'll never use paddock stands again, hate those things.
broken frame slider: just "notch" a flat head screw driver shape in that broken off nut and torque that sh**t off. should ONLY be about 40 ft lbs torqued down. so it should not take too much to come off.
I had a 2007 gsxr 600 back in the day, man I loved that thing. I only sold it because someone made me an offer I couldn’t refuse. I’m a sucker for a good flip…
The frame slider on my 04 was broken when I got it. Annndd..... it was a bitch to fix. The stud of the bolt was sticking out about an inch and end up breaking it flush with the frame an had to try EZ out and left hand drill bits which none of that worked. In the end I jus drilled it out.
Consider that it has damage on it. This is definitely not a “deal” I guess it depends where you live. But a few years ago I bought an 2010 r6 for 9000 from a dealership and it was a one owner with 2k miles. If the bike was a one owner never dropped bike then price is good but for being rough $5300 is too much.
I mean he had the DRZ for a long long time. I think that was more for kicks (wheelies and shennigans) than anything else. I feel like DIWD has always preferred pavement but maybe the trails around him just aren't up to snuff.

Zeta flight levers 10/10. def check them out. cheaper than asv, super high quality, and more replaceable if you ever drop the bike.
