It's really funny because every morning when I walk my dogs I make humming sounds that vibrate inside my throat nose and ear passages that sound like bees or the low pitch hum of electrical devices like amplifiers or old fashion radios, the vibration helps me to expel mucus that we all get when we first wake up in the morning after a night of carbon dioxide exposure, and yes after doing this for just a few minutes I feel a great sense of calm come over me and you just explained why this happens, great video thank you and Namaste.
I have done yoga in a few places over 6-7 yrs. but never got an explanation and demonstration as with Siddhi Yoga with Sandeep Solanki. Thank You,

Please tell, while doing bharmri are we required to chant "Aum" or
Simply the humming bird sound?
I m already doing this mudra. I inhale and exhale with the OM sound. Now I will do this by positioning my fingers as u showed. Sir i often get wheezing when it is summer. Can i do this pranayam. Can u post any other for wheezing.
Thank you for the explanation. Would love to understand how the positioning of fingers help and the meaning behind them.
Can we do this aasan in sleeping position for vertigo problem
Hello sir, could you please zoom when you are showing mudras from this video not visible position of fingers in shanmugi mudra
Please show how to do shirsasana
Step by step, very simple to implement and instructed in a simple language.
Thank you for information
Thank you Kavita Dalvi ji
Sir i am suffering from inguinal hernia after doing this pranayama i
Do we need to hold breathe and then exhale or to release it slowly with AUM sound masterji ??
Simple and Excellently communicated.
I would like to suggest you elevate your position so the camera is more eye level or lower shooting up.
Additionally, a close up of the face with the mudras might helps others with a better visual.
Best of luck.
And Great Job
After so many video's I find
Urs is best and clear narrated.
Thank you. Suggest you to take up proffessional cameraman so that multi angle, close up to know correct mudra.
Posture.
How many minutes to do this pranayam3
Sir how many times have to do this
Sir can a Low BP person practice this pranayam ????
Do you exhaul through your mouth or nose?
Can this be done sitting on a chair for someone who can't sit cross legged?
what is tounge position in bhramri
Dear sir. Do you need to take a break. Some people say to carry on for an hour or two. What would be the advantages or disadvantages of this? If you need to pause, why would that be necessary. Thank you
Good video. But it would be better if you show the shanmukhi mudra closely. Focussing on the face. Camera should be focussed to the face.
Can pregnant ladies do it?
Tq
thank you very much for consideration for my request , just fantastically clearing all my doubts
You are welcome First Preference ji
Kindly reply me point sir lls
this is amazing.
Is there any yoga for hearing improvement?
First consult with doctor, and if there is no any issue related to your ears then there is the cause of lack of concentration power, you can increase it through pranayama and meditation.
Please suggest pranayama for hormonal imbalance
Yes pls,much appreciated
I live brahmri
Sir when we exhale should we have to keep our mouth closed and produce humming sound.pl reply
Yes bro ... Mouth should be closed
Great! How many breathing/humming cycles should one do to gain benefits...if ten minutes or so, can you 'chunk' it if there are time restraints
You can do it 5 to 10 times humming sound with time and practice you can increase 10 to 20 times round.
Namasté, Thank you for this video. I am suffering from APNEA, I want to increase my NO levels with this exercise. How long, and when do I have to do the humming exercise? Thank you!
Thank you very much for the detailed explanation. My only remaining question is: is it true that you can only do this to an empty stomack? this worries me as I feel good doing it despite having eaten before. thank you for thinking about it!
Yes, it is important to do it on an empty stomach, as it becomes easy to breathe deeply and completely.
But, some people find it difficult to do it on an empty stomach, in that case, eating very light should also serve the purpose. Only thing to keep in mind is that you should feel lighter during the practice.
Namaste!
👍
Can someone with Vertigo problem, do Bhramari Pranayama? Appreciate your advise please?
Yes ! they can practice .
Wanted to know whether we have to 'make' the humming sound purposely or it just happens as we exhale through the nose? Thank you.
its done purposely
Is it beneficial for low- hearing people also?
Yes! This pranayam is helpful for low hearing and reduces symptoms by improving blood flow to the cochlea and preventing neurotransmitter damage.
Thank you for explaining all the variations. By the way, NIH has articles on this very style that helps with not only heart and mind health but because it produces Nitric Oxide in the nasal passage it may kill the covid 19!
Can we do this aasan in vajrasan sir.
😁 It was that very article that brought me to this video. The article was mentioned in the new book The Breathing Cure, by Patrick McKeown.
John Hopkins Medicine says the Nitric Oxide helps while recovering from COVID but no so much as killing it. Let’s be careful with our words
Sir i cannot exhaling same time with mmm..sound after finishing mm sound only can exhaling..pls explain sir
Before starting humming (mmm) sound you just take deep inhale after inhaling then make mmmm sound and your exhalation automatic will happen .
Is Bhraamari pranayama useful for ear pain or hearing problem ?
Yes. Please do it regularly. It really helps.
Are mudras important?
I don’t do any mudras gives me RSI
I do all pranayamas without mudras and I do standing position works well
Yes, Mudras are important. They can help to prevent lose of energy. We would suggest you to practice Mudras such as Gyana Mudra (Mudra of Wisdom), Dhyan Mudra (Meditative Seal), Chin Mudra (Mudra of Consciousness), etc along with your Meditation and Pranayama practices.
i just recovered from covid, and my lungs have taken a hit, breathing is slight on the heaver side. i understand i have to improve my lung capacity. . 15 times seems impossible as i start gasping for breath. can i do it 5-6 times a day but only twice or thrice. can bee breathing be done after a meal?
what else can i do to improve lung capacity gradually???
Thankyou in advance
during inhale or exhale lips will be close or not ?
@@ami101_ you should exhale from your nose and keep mouth closed. We don't need to open the mouth when we hum. Hope this helps.
Harry, glad to know that you are out of Covid. Almost all breathing exercise will improve lung capacity. You should start with deep breathing exercise and alternate nostril breathing. And then slowly introduce kapalbhati and bhastrika to enhance your lung capacity. These should be learned from an experience teacher. Also note all breathing exercise should be performed with empty stomach early in the morning or evening. If you take meal then there should be 3-4 hours break before you perform breathing exercise. Hope it helps.
Can we do it anytime of the day or only on empty stomach. Thanks
Morning is best time for practice yes this practice should be in empty stomach.
Sir exhalation should be done by mouth or nose..
If your nose is unobstructed then nose is better option any day. However, if your nose is stuffed or obstructed then you can go for exhalation through mouth.
Hello, can you show closeup how fingers are placed on face. Do they touch each other ? And the vibration happens on nose or throat ? Thanks.
Fingers are not touching each other. The vibration happens in the throat.
I cannot make a smooth sound :( It’s patchy, interrupted and just not working, as if I have a sore throat. Should I somehow prepare? I do it first thing in the morning before anything. Should I drink first? Or do some warming exercises first?
You can drink warm water first in the morning and then after freshen up .
You can practice some yoga practice , after that you can do this bhramri pranayam.
While you making sound your awareness should be on that vibration try to do a long rhythmic humming sound.
Thank you very much for this advice.
I love the way you explain things in detail and use your going to sleep video every evening. Unlike many other practitioners, nothing hurts after your classes! I had a bad experience with a class when after doing seemingly simple moves my lower back hurt like crazy! Not after your classes, ever.
Can you do bhramari any time or only on empty stomach? Thank you
We can do at any tym
Does this technique work without putting the fingers on the face?
This is process for practicing bhramri pranayama there are three technique for it you can keep your finger only inside of ears instead placing finger on face.
Instead of humm can we do OM
Yes you can
