Love the chopsticks! Ok… next challenge is… Dental Floss! 😉 Loved the Fyansford Paper Mill; guessing it’s abandoned now? Sorry your drone drowned 🙃 Lexie looks lovely. You look happy. Enjoy Eildon with your son - hope his car camping fit-out works well. Thanks again Jason 😊
😂 I did dental floss a few weeks ago 👍 The Paper mill is an arts precinct now. I should go inside and take some shots some time. Some pretty cool works there.
Karen knew you were up to something when you pealed the whole banana. Much laughter arose. Then the yoghurt almost brought tears. AND you do it all with a straight face.😂😂😂 Poor Dronie😢 Do you want us to start a GoFundMe for another one lol. Love the teasing privacy clips. Keep it up. Don't need to share everything but nice to meet Lexie. Have a great time with your son. K ,S
And here I was thinking your drone flying has really improved 😀 and what happens ... a branch steps out and swats it when over water ... darn ... 😥 good luck with your personal life, didn't we say the dark clouds are parting not too long ago, and no, you don't have to explain to us , always good to keep something’s private , cheers, Garry
Loved the drone work in this one Jason, right up until... Banana "dicing" using chop sticks - you're an odd fellow, although given the theme of this video, quite apt. Lexie! 🙂You look happy mate. Safe travels. Cheers.
Great video Jason, sorry to see your drone sleep with the fishes, did you get it working again? Please stay safe during this heatwave, i used to hit the shopping centres when i was on the road for free aircon. Impressive at the speed you got this video out too, thank you! Keep em comming!
Thanks Lucius 😊 No recovery for the drone, but I have a replacement cover for it so hopefully they'll send me a new one in a few weeks. Yes, I head to shopping centres sometimes too to cool down 😁
Grab a cheap personal fan and set it up so it is splayed across your head. Being a low vault fan the noise is minimal but the wind is enough to throw the mozzie off its flight. See ya later mozzie. I tried a net then I got this idea....brilliant. They can ruin a good nights kip.
Chopsticks!!! Now THAT’s something I didn’t think of… Ok, next slicing implement I suggest is… dental floss! 😉 Commiserations on the death of Little Drone 🙃 Fyansford paper mill - thanks - how beautiful. Is it abandoned now? Loved the Chinatown footage (ooh la la - Lexie!) 😉. You look happy 😃 Looking forward to the Eildon footage with your son trying out his car camping set up. (I hear the permanent campers up at Eildon can be wild - take your earplugs 😜 Many thanks again Jason 🙏🏻
Just caught up. Bummer about the drone. Love Melbourne, so arty and vibrant. Gunghi fa choi...I think I messed up the spelling lol. Hopefully you'll know what it is. I've read the comments so know who Lexi is. Nice you two trying to work things out. All the best. Looking forward to the car camping video.
😂 we'll have to see how often Lexie features in videos and draw conclusions from there😜 Going to get a DJI Mini 3, same as my son's. The Neo will also get replaced under their DJI Refresh program that I bought in to.
Thanks as always for taking me on your journey Jason. Always look forward to and enjoy a morning coffee and viewing of your videos. Those POV mountain bike rides always elevate my adrenalin level. They're great. Lexi is looking well too. Cheers and all the best, Sean.
That cutting a banana with chopsticks while discussing Chinese things was brilliant. Put a smile on my face that one did. 😊 On a similar note I spent over 8 years living and working in China. I met my wife there. She isn't Chinese however but a nearby Island country. Great video Jason. . Melbourne has some lovely creek systems. I live out east near the Dandenongs and was out creekside a few times this week for a bit of therapy. Water is a great healer. Fantastic view riding through those prison gates and arches. Thanks for sharing. 👍 Oh yeah, Lexie is a cutie 😊 Hope you enjoy Eildon area and grab some great videoing.
Thanks Brad 😊👍 I always wanted to be posted to China for work, but once it got approved, I had ties in Aus and couldn't go. I do like it over there. Been there over 20 times 😂 I still have Mooney Mooney creek to ride out of the city, but should head over to the Dandenongs and check out that area in detail.
@@MakingStuffGoingPlaces That is pretty significant Jason, been to China over 20 times. Impressive indeed. May I ask where you were mostly? I spent the majority of my time in the North-East, a very cold part of China in Winter, up in Heilongjiang and Jilin provinces, I worked at the FAW (First Automobile Works) in Changchun and also in Daqing (Heilongjiang) and Dongying in Shandong province (Both oil cities). I also spent a bit of time in Shanghai and Hubei provinces but mostly North-East until I met my wife and had a baby and then it was time to move back home. I would be very interested to know about your time there and experiences. It can be a very good place to be, that's for sure, I have many fond memories and made many friends. Thanks for your reply Jason.
@myplace848 interesting! I've been to a lot of different cities....also automotive, worked for Ford. Chongqing, Nanchang, Nanjing, Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Xiangyang then personal trips to my wife's home town near Zhengzhou....I don't know, several other cities too 😂 I was an emissions and fuel consumption regulatory "expert" so would go and help out with testing procedures. Got a few older videos from my last trip over there in my channel. Back in Sept 2023 I think it was.
@@MakingStuffGoingPlaces Awesome, thanks Jason I'll have a look tonight at that video.🙂That's certainly a big chunk of China. Oh I didn't know you have a penchant for Asian women too. (jokes, kind of 🙂)
I've caught up! Yes the heatwave is upon us, Adelaide doesn't dodge the bullet, but it does cool down in the evening eventually. Maybe you will explore SA next, there's plenty to see!
Great watching with my Saturday morning coffee,Jason. A lot going on. Melbourne is a great place when we do get nice weather. Lexi is lovely. The food looked great too!
Yay you did the chopsticks! I cracked up when you tried to do the yogurt with them too. 🤣 Glad they didn’t go in the bin like the egg slicer. Perfect timing to try them for lunar new year lol. Anyone who’s new to watching you must be thinking what the heck! 🤣🤣 The street art you captured was beautiful. I’m guessing this is the ex Lexi who commented on all of our comments on one of your videos. Sorry about your drone, that sucks it’s dead. Will you get another one? Looking forward to seeing how your Son’s car camping goes!
The chopsticks actually worked really well 😂 for the banana... yoghurt, not so much! Hahahah....you've pieced together the Lexie puzzle 👍 we're doing well working things out. I do have a replacement insurance on the drone so hopefully should get a new one for $29😁
@ Yes not so practical for yogurt lol 😂 Thank goodness you had insurance on the drone. Hope it doesn’t take too long to get a replacement. Hope the next one is more obedient in its following lol 😂 Glad you guys are getting along again.
Hi Jason, that Wrist Injury may cause issue's for age's. That Street Art is amazing. A lot of Cool Place's I would of never seen. I'm glad the Chop Sticks didn't go in the Bin. lol. Thanks for the Video!
😂 yeah, need the chopsticks for their intended purpose. Seems the wrist will be very slow to fully heal. I wonder if it will ever be the same again, but it's not too bad 👍
Poor Neo, is it completely kaput?🙈 That shows how fragile they are, and why its best to start with entry model. I prefer mashed banana and thats easily done using a fork. 🤪
Yeah, confirmed to not be waterproof!😂 Totally dead. Can't even access the memory. I think the battery is still good though. I'll get a replacement hopefully. Mashed banana sounds like a plan 😂👍 I actually like that in sandwiches.
Bummer about the Drone, maybe have a look at the Mother Board might be something obvious you could change to fix it? Don't feel to bad one Channel I watch is on His 30th Mavic!
😳 yeah, only a $300 drone, so not too bad. Can't say I'd be taking too much risk with a Mavic! I have the replacement insurance so should get a new one for about $60.
@fatmanoverlanding yeah, I baked it in the sun for the rest of the day. It'll show the battery charge level, but won't turn on....going for a refresh 😁
Thanks mate. On a $300 drone, it was a risk I was willing to take to get a cool shot 😂 I have a replacement insurance so hopefully that comes good for minimal cost.
Shame about your drone could you still salvage the camera or SD at least? I think I remember L EX i from some posts on here. My child is Lexi so the name stuck in my head.
Unfortunately I can't even access the data from the drone as it's internal storage only....never mind. Yes, same Lexie. We're sorting out some things 😁
RIP drone, you had helped Jason to broaden our horizon 🫡
😁👍 I'll get another soon. I really love the footage.
The banana slicing segment is creative and always a highlight.
