Why do they look South Asian then? well, this is a good question the answer to which is that recent studies have proven something called Human Skin Color Variation which suggests that when a group of humans migrate to a specific area (colder) their skin colour can get lighter while if another group of humans migrate to a warmer area over generations you will genetic variations attributed to melanin making them darker than group 1, so it seems plausible to suggests that over centuries the Bene Israeli melanin variations could have adapted to South Asian weather and climate making them practically indecipherable from the native Populus.

No. The people who were sent to Trinidad and west indies were Hindus of dalit caste and low caste labourers
