Hey issac , looks like it worked fine to me! Glad you had the opportunity to try that out. Many moons ago before van life eas a thing i had a little military i=H metro van looked like a plumbers work van i never thought twice about where to sleep it was alot like the saying where ever i lay my hat is my home, but yea its certainly diffrent now days. I've slept in a rest area before. In a SUV and a car. You don't get much sleep. Hope you had fun. ❤
I've slept in a GMC Sierra 1500 pickup for months and would have loved to sleep in something like that lol so anything is better then my truck 😅

Thank you Isaac. Pleased that went well for you. Looks perfectly aok to me as a stealth camper. That rest area looked fine also. Wish you could see some of the places that my van and I have to stay at night at times. I know that not many, if any, of my friends would, solo. But you do what you have to do sometimes.👍🌞🕊

Man I'am a little jealous of you guys in the PNW being able to find these campers, I'am in south Louisiana it's hard to find a regular camper top to fit a first gen Tundra 😂. Your's is exactly what I want eventually,If stuff would stop being so expensive 😂

Mom is just sitting on couch while the little kid is climbing on the lamptable.! Whatsnup with that? You dont let toddlers climb on tables. You need to instill the rules consistantly. I have a feeling Issac is filming this so everyone can see what he is dealing with. Jaylena needs to get a grip and be a mother.There is no relaxing. Until the baby is grown.

We stay in our motor home all the time overnight in Oregon and Washington at the rest areas when we take a trip and it's fine sometimes we just want to head out so we go half way and then rest until morning and get an early start with coffee.

It does look snug, but at a rest area they may not even care if you pop the top. Truckers and campers take rest breaks overnight pretty often, unless there are signs prohibiting it. Glad you didn’t drive home tired, and I hope you made a good contact at the concert. It looked pretty good. ✌️❤️😴

Glad you got to enjoy the concert and slept stealth in the camper . Interesting that the heater didn't error out with the top down ! It didn't have to work as hard to heat and it wasn't as cold outside ! So is that heater to small for the sq . ft when its fully opened ? But nice to know when you are traveling and tired a quick hop in the back , roll out the couch and you can get a good night sleep .

I’ve had to stealth camp in my hawk before in -5. Dropping the top and turning on the heat is a great way to save on a hotel, you’re already rolling with one! Great vid

Actually, looked pretty comfy. We hear nightmares about Portland. Unfortunately, it is not the only city that is dangerous now days. Maybe a future co-lab with the performer? Take care.

I'm not even sure you need to stealth camp at a rest stop ... I mean if you're parked overnight anywhere you're probably sleeping in it. Do rest stops care? I haven't actually looked into that! Oh and did the manufacturer help fix the heater?! 🎉🎉🎉
Is there really any "Stealth" camping anymore? With all the campers, RV's, van's and cars, people know what that looks like. Isn't it fine to camp over night in a rest area? I thought that was what they are for.
You may need a larger heater or 2 types of heat for when top is up, something to think about before next winter 👍👏🏻. Enjoyed your video very informative 😎❤️

I love hearing Ember talking, and the more you talk to her the bigger her vocabulary will be. She's a sweetheart.
It bothers me to see you driving in rain in the dark with one hand, which occasionally stayed on the wheel. Can you not get a camera stand for the van? If an animal or another vehicle did something unexpected, there'd be little you could do about staying on the road.

When they're open, rest stops are a great place to stay overnight. Some of them don't allow it, though, so it's good to watch for signage. 👍

11:40 I think that if you're parked where no one is walking passed, it looks like it would work, but the heater must be a bit noisy so any one walking to their car nearby might get a shock.

Good decision not to drive after music gig. You know what rain + tired = high risk for an accident.
So glad you got the truck and camper. Bus life was great and maybe in your future, but Ember and Jaylena need a grounded home. I think you are becoming attached to a home. Jaylena doesn’t mind you going and exploring! She’s a strong confident woman.
