OMG you two are uber cute, and I love the vibe that just reaches right through the screen. I'm totally sticking around. Thank you for sharing part of your life with a bunch of strangers.
Definitely one of the most enjoyable van tour vids I've ever seen. And that's because of the two of you. You made me laugh over and over. You're lovely people, and your home is lovely. Best wishes to you in your travels.
thank you so much for all of this. seriously. we laugh at ourselves but never know how that’s going to land with someone who doesn’t know us. please know that your affirmations are felt and heard over here!
Thank you for this! yeah I imagine a small NYC studio apartment has some similar traits. Not the moving bits, but the attention to every nook and cranny. I think everything having its place is one of our favorite things. For example, it’s a mess right now, because of an all-day thing we did yesterday. But, when we muster up the energy, it will really only take 5-10 minutes to have things cleaned up and back to normal.
Your video showed up in my yt feed. Wow!! The both of you are so down to earth and totally awesome!! I have subscribed to your channel and I look forward to your adventures.
You guys are awesome. Truly made for each other. Box truck is my dream home amongst moving homes. As a dancer & someone who is obsessed with tiny living, I hope to one in the future. I love the fact that you guys did not compromise in a full bathroom or pass-through. Two things I find extermely important. Thank you for sharing your tiny home. Blessings.
Hello guys, from Perth, Western Australia. I love your video and your amazing rig build out. I agree you don't have to go all new as 2nd, 3rd or even 4th hand is great as long as you get the right one with a good engine. All I can say is, food for thought big time. I just stumbled upon your channel tonight (will Subscribe after I send this comment) and have to say....I love your tiny-home-on-wheels...I love that it's not sterile and has so much character (a reflection of you both)....I love that you did it on a shoestring budget...and I love what you said toward the end of the video about not complicating things. I self-converted a 2009 Chevy Express 4500 into MY tiny-home-on-wheels also on a shoestring budget and it's very "basic" (no solar, no shower; have lived nearly two full years without and see that I don't need either) but it suits me perfectly and has allowed me to live the two best years of my life (I'm 57)...I don't care about resale value as I don't plan on selling my little Wanda...til death do us part. 98 sq ft which I share with my dog and cat and would not trade for the world. thank you! we agree. we’ve also realized how everybody has a different definition of comfortable. years ago we traveled across country and slept in the backseat/trunk of our Jetta. we woke up in beautiful places, and we said…. “if we were in ANYTHING nicer than this, this could be sustainable.” We didn’t have a bathroom, more than a couple gallons of water, standing room, etc. but now that we do, we feel we’re living the life of luxury.
well thank ya! I think Sarah is the funniest, quickest wit I know. and we do have fun together! but believe it or not, sometimes we forget to have fun because we let other pressures come in. This video is a good example of a time we just let go of any pressure. Thank you for these words! -a

Thank you for following along! We’ve been making videos off and on for a while now with our hope to share the real of this lifestyle. It means the world to us to have a new human in our audience. thank you for your kind words. and sending YOUR good vibes! take care!
Yes. I would definitely be interested in a tour narrated by Kevin. Maybe he could also talk about how pants would change his life, the pros and cons and so forth.
Thanks for the Tour , I've used repurposed wood in my house to I didn't have a lot of money when I redid my house and totally cheaper that way !( Nice Video !!
Also love the reused smuckers jars. They are the best and I think somewhere I have one of yours for some reason. Anyway- love them and keep them around myself. - lets see a 10 min video of the books on your shelves - 5mins for the sarah shelf and 5 mins for the andrew shelf- or wait do you have separate shelves? and yall TBH the shower thing... do you long for a nice long hotty?
Amazing. Paint it every year and linen swap every 6 mos so that life doesn't piss you off. You would feel like you have a new home while spending $50-100 a year on upgrades. 2 linen color families....infinite paint choices.
most people we show this to in person also say the same thing. And it does seem like a lot of space to us. We have two more feet of width than a sprinter van. I think that makes a huge difference. Thanks for loving our little studio apt.!
0:00 Ooh, marshy typography and plate are primo! 4:17 Having a wall rack of canning jars is one of my top life aspirations after years of just stuffing them in one big messy drawer. 5:53 I can't wait to have a water foot pump in my van, so I can assess how good each barefoot shoes is for water foot pumping. Very important metric. 7:42 "past life" Yea, my walnut desk from my room also became the thing I built my whole van layout around. Old things, new space.13:00 The large ceiling panels create some really nice diffuse light. I like that way better than mini LED's everywhere. 14:05 That rustic sliding wood door sound might make a nice transition noise for different sections of a video.
yes for jars and foot pumps! haha. indeed a valuable metric! love that you’ve thought about the desk you love from the very beginning. I will say, our skylight warmth is such a lovely balance to our tinted window coolness. it makes for some great photos. and I think our kitchen leds are so nice because they’re bouncing off the copper sconces I made. something about the indirectness of them is really nice. we rarely use our overhead leds. and good note on the sliding hatch door. there was something very Mr. Roger’s about that shot. haha. thanks, bud! -a
Thanks for that suggestion! wasn’t too familiar until I just looked up what that was. lol. currently using the shiny reflectix for our skylight prototype. pretty stoked about how such a thin layer can help so much with heat!

Yes. I would definitely be interested in a tour narrated by Kevin. Maybe he could also talk about how pants would change his life, the pros and cons and so forth.
Talked it over with him and Kev thinks he can deliver on that soon. stay tuned!… he also thanks you for seeing him & his pants plight.
Thanks for the Tour , I've used repurposed wood in my house to I didn't have a lot of money when I redid my house and totally cheaper that way !( Nice Video !!

thank you!🙏
Also love the reused smuckers jars. They are the best and I think somewhere I have one of yours for some reason. Anyway- love them and keep them around myself. - lets see a 10 min video of the books on your shelves - 5mins for the sarah shelf and 5 mins for the andrew shelf- or wait do you have separate shelves? and yall TBH the shower thing... do you long for a nice long hotty?
thanks, friend! taking notes on these suggestions. we like’ em. we get a nice hotty from time to time lol 😂
Great video. Cool box truck.
thank you so much!
Amazing. Paint it every year and linen swap every 6 mos so that life doesn't piss you off. You would feel like you have a new home while spending $50-100 a year on upgrades. 2 linen color families....infinite paint choices.

Nice 👍
thank you!!!
very nice!!
thanks!!
I am surprised how much room you have. Its like studio apartment.
most people we show this to in person also say the same thing. And it does seem like a lot of space to us. We have two more feet of width than a sprinter van. I think that makes a huge difference. Thanks for loving our little studio apt.!
Have fun with your lives.

Cute house 🏘️🏘️🏘️😊😊😊
thanks, we think so too.. just the fact that you called it a house, and not an rv warms our hearts. ❤️
You can get blue window cling that keeps cold and heat out.
Thanks for that suggestion! wasn’t too familiar until I just looked up what that was. lol. currently using the shiny reflectix for our skylight prototype. pretty stoked about how such a thin layer can help so much with heat!
fyi... its " kiwi fruit' always! ... I'm a kiwi. not a fruit 🤣🤣🤣 great video
oooooh! noted! it won’t happen again! 😂 ❤️
