    Hiii!!! Love this and thank you. What do you think about: Using the portal on the 2nd touch of the claim -15days from the first touch via phone call where the rep stated allow 30-45 bus days. - now 2nd touch you use portal and it’s states still in process. Is that a valid way of follow up or should the AR Rep have to call again on the 2nd time.
    I love AR Follow Up but my job is making the follow up criteria using the portal ridiculous.. pretty much we can only use the portal one time. Wanted to see if I’m tripping.

      Thank you for the comment but I'm not not sure if I am fully following so feel free to correct me if I am not fully addressing the comment.
      Portal access is the fastest and most comprehensive way to understand the status of a claim. Additionally, you can in many cases send your request through the portal versus having to wait for a representative, to articulate your issue to them, then have them research the claim history only to send a request to the claim adjusting team to correct the claim. It is more effective to use the portal unless you are unable to send reprocessing requests via the portal.

      @@InleraU Pretty much the Insurance company is not completing claims fast enough for my employer (a 30-45 day turnaround time) so my employer would make us call again 15 days later after our 1st call, instead of being able to use the portal to see claim is still in process. Which the insurance company already originally stated it would take 30-45 days and we’re calling after 15 days. Hope that makes sense and if not I do appreciate your response and content!

      Hello Akeem, thank you so much for your comment & question. Truly, they are not the same. The general idea of collecting on old monies due is the same. However, you would still have a learning curve to understand the US healthcare industry.

      That’s so exciting! Starting your own company is certainly an adventure. We are based out of the USA, so you may want to look into the regulations in Pakistan as they could be different, but we do have a few videos that should have some useful advice as you get started:

      No, I do not do 1-1 training but I do one time mini-coaching sessions for medical billers that might help. calendly.com/jasmineips/mini-coaching-session
      Otherwise, our training programs are rolling out steadily so there might something there that help you:

    Hey Jasmine i really love your video i am from India i have total 4 yrs of experience as an AR Associate could you please suggest me better job in this field or some details about OA other adjustment 23 or 45

    • @InleraU
      @InleraU  Рік тому +1

      Hello! Thank you so much for your message. I would say that with an OA “other adjustment”comment you would likely want to look at the remark additional remittance remark codes that typically begin with an M or an N. They can often provide more detailed criteria or detailed feedback as to why they are determining a 45 which is a contract obligation. I would suggest visiting this website if it does not have the breakdown of the code on the ERA. x12.org/codes/remittance-advice-remark-codes
      If all else fails, the next step, I would say would have to call would be to call or send in a inquiry to the insurance company.
