I’ve been told 3.5 V6 EB isn’t the strongest in terms of holding more power than stock, so a 5.0 would honestly be a dream come true. Will they do it? I honestly doubt it, such a bitch to make FWD biased 5.0 AWD configuration. Anyone heard of info on ecoboost contrary to my claims?
@@16webb16 I actually found a video where someone stuffed a 5.0 in a Fusion, so it's totally possible with the Taurus.

before I buy, is it possible to transfer over the components from a SHO to and SE? I found a wrecked sho with the transmission and engine and suspension still good everything else screwed for really really cheap, and a donor SE for 2.5k

Love these first generation sho wheels. The flower style on the new sho don't fit the style of the frame. But anything is better than 22in chrome rims on these car's. Just my opinion. And I'm sticking to it🔥🔥🔥

What a gorgeous car! Would love to own one, one day. We don't have them in Europe.. shame. I don't like how it sounds btw.. Most Ford V6 sound this "lazy",, It had this ricer sound.. No offence. :) If you listen to sound of a VW VR6/V6 or a BMW 6 cylinder they really scream! The Ford V6's have a low nois.. a darker tone.

Alex, the gauge pod is custom made actually by the owner of this vehicle. As far as the grille I'm not too sure, I'd be sure to join the ecoboostforums and ask for both, good luck!
Grills where originally done by Mobsteel, they sold molds to tommy z designs. They don't show on there site but I know several guys that have purchase from them. The gauge pod is personally built and designed by myself for more info email me at crash712us@att.net.

No offense, I have a 2010, but that exhaust sounds like a 4-cyl. I don't think it's an improvement over stock. Beautiful car though and nice work on the mods.
The camera quality wasn't too good here, hearing it in person is a whole different story, very deep, with not a lot of drone. Definitely not like a four cylinder.

+tommy lucania I actually grown to like this car. I'm thinking of swapping my challenger 392, but the SHO only has a 60,000 mile powertrain vs a 100,000 that I have. can you just swap out turbos or do you have to do other things first? If I do swap, what are the best lowering springs to buy?
HR Springs and from what i have heard, just a turbo upgrade should do. Livernois stage4+ program with plugs, therm 160, intake, and 3 bar map will make the sho unstoppable.

Matthew Curry Yea you win on that one :p That will never happen. It really was a frankenstein car from the start. It worked though. Sometimes side project cars that the engineers play with can turn out to be the best ones.
For the record: The automatic transmission in the SHO Gen 2 was crap (never failed...). I owned one of those, and it took FOREVER to shift through the gears. And the overdrive gear wouldn't engage until the engine was warmed up...

i have a 2014 ford taurus SEL. What kind of upgrades can i put on it?

I would rip the automatic transmission out of it and put in a 6 speed manual race transmission. I would change the turbo to a supercharger. I would make the plastic panels thinner to lighten the car. Thin race tire's with thin wheels and spokes, brembo brakes, rip the seats out besides the front seats which would be race seats with race harnesses the engine would be a 450 big block v8 with the supercharger and a hood vent. I would lower the car for sure, and put a exhaust system in it and the car would be AWD. That would be a cool Ford Taurus, I would drive it if it had all of that.
Comparing apples to oranges. What you just said is not supposed to be the idea of the Taurus SHO and it will never be that. BTW, the SHO is already AWD.

The state boys in Michigan are much harder on enforcing the tint law. Remember that this law varies from state to state. You're not better than him for having darker tint either...I'll be this car spanks whatever you drive.
