I'm really digging your quad tips bro. Looking really husky. I have a 2010 SHO myself that I'm slowly getting up to par. Hate to bite, but thank you for giving me a visual. Bada$$!!!!
Okay I have a 2015 Ford Taurus sho I have a gear head tune I just put a 2.5 piping straight pipes with a x pipe but I have a slight hesitation its downshift a lot
@@donovanmartinez2846 xpipe in place of 3rd cat and where the resonator used to be the straight pipes come back together again welded into each other then back to straight dual.
Yes. When the exhaust was made they didn’t cut out the 3rd cat…so it had the 3rd cat and they integrated an x pipe into the exhaust after it. Later I had the 3rd cat removed and had a stainless premade xpipe welded in its place.
Where did you get the exhaust parts? And where do you get all your parts? Sorry if you listed it somewhere I just didn’t really look if it is. Just got a 2010 sho and really want to get it how yours is
To start, I bought my catless downpipes from Livernois Motorsports. The 3rd cat was removed and a 2.5" stainless x pipe was put in its place, from there it's all 2.5" stainless with an integrated x pipe back to 4" quad tips. There's no mufflers. That was all done here at Vermont Custom Auto. The rest of my parts were purchased from several vendors. Ortiz Performance, GearHead Tuning and EcoPowerParts.
How long do you recommend to run to fluid after changing it the first time I just got my ptu and rdu fluid changed and I’m not worried about the rdu anytime soon but I am worried about the ptu how long should I go between changes with daily driving/work/school and drag racing
@@omahasho4658 I change mine a lot. 3 times last year and I only drove 3k miles. I'm taking my car out soon so I'll change it even though it's been driven for like 500 miles last change. Then after new revisions dialing in my new mods, before I got full dick at the track I might change it again...or definitely before I go back to the track a second time. It should be food for 15k miles at least but I change mine so often bc I'm pushing it to its limit and fluid is cheaper than a new one. I've had my fluid tested at BlackStone Labs and just after 1500 miles it was already breaking down.
Not bad at all. It has a moment of some rasp but drone is perfect I think. Loud enough you can hear it but not loud enough it gets annoying or you can’t hear someone talk or the song you’re listening to.
@@802sho so you do ptu every oil change and transmission fluid? If I am researching correctly when you drain the tranny you don't get all the fluid, hence doing it every interval to eventually circulate all new fluid?

Sick dude. Cant wait to get this car in a month
Sounds great. 👍

Idk you need to try to data log the symptom and send to GH
What’s a double x pipe

Do you have the link to the double x pipe you used on yours

Nice creative exhaust that works. What’s your lowering setup?
Andrew Bullock wonder how it would be stock front springs but with H&R rears
Are the two x pipes just in place of the third cat and the resonator right behind?

@@802sho sounds amazing, did the x pipes feel like they hurt performance of the turbos? Making the exhaust more turbulent?
@@oneyedmonkey87 not at all.
Any chance you can get a video of it driving?? Does it sound raspy??

802SHO Thank you so much! I appreciate you taking the time to reply!

Awesome! Is that the factory bumper? I have quad tops I've been wanting to put on the exact same size but don't look like it will fit right

If you don’t mind me asking do you have headers on it
Its a twin turbo car so there's turbo exhaust manifolds not headers.

So no cats ? And do you have a down pipe or no ?
