Thank you for being here! I know I've been saying this a lot lately, but it would really help us out if you could watch this video to the end. The algorithm really likes watch time, so its a great way to support us if you have the time. Hope you have a great day!
Maybe shorten the ending. I don't watch the end credits of movies or tv shows, YT is no different. What you mean to say is "I get paid more if you stay til the video ends; what can I do to get you to stay until then?"
OUR Problem is;; Either we are a Nation of Laws or a Corporate Entity of policy/rules...... you can not do both! During CV-19 we
got the greatest view of this problem when policy/rules mandated "Masks & a 6' Rule" ! Police started following these "rules" &
they were not the law. What happens when a Municipality creates policy/rules that police arrest you for? Other Corporate folks
ask Police to honor their policy/rules as LAWS ! Police started doing this & the inherent danger of this is in how fast ANY type
of Corporate Entity or Business can simple make a rule, print it out, and post it all in an hour or two. This is not legal under the
Republic for which we stand, we are not a Democracy ! We do democratic things like voting but we are a Republic & it requires
the Legislature @ Federal or State levels to create new Laws ~ Policy -n- Rules were Never the Law ; don't accept tyranny !
Does watching your videos at faster speed affect the algorithm negatively?

That confused me because they were moving at the start from another place where she’d been filming and people kept talking about a library, a county clerk’s office, and a DMV. I know things can double as others but I’m not sure what he was specifically not letting her into. For anyone wondering, this security officer has since been terminated due to this incident and the company is working closely with its current employees to educate them on the constitution.
Thanks for the update!
I don’t think he should’ve lost his job, all the employees there thought they had that kind of authority, they probably trained him that way. He should’ve just been re-educated like the rest. I’ve worked a few security jobs in the past and some of them encourage that kind of behavior and tell you to do things you aren’t legally allowed to do. He should’ve handled it differently but he was genuinely trying to do what he thought was his job.
@@theprodigalsun__I disagree, he threatened her with physical force which in the end would have caused himself to be arrested with assault. I'm sure that is why he was fired.
@theprodigalsun__ The company did right in firing him. Hopefully this is a lesson learned. If the sheriff was more direct to this security guard, this encounter would nit have lasted as long as it did. The security guard needed to be fired. I like and respect the sheriff deputies demeanor, but he needs training in commanding a situation, as he let this security dominate him until his supervisor arrived.

@@jeremiahsouthworth5112 but that is the thing, the LEO really doesn't get it! At one point he said "I told him I am not kicking her out, that he could kick her out". Mind you, this is a video about "Good cop". Maybe I ask for too much, but for me a cop good would have told the security to back off or he would be arrested for bothering/harassing the lady. I am just over the 10 minute mark of the video where the lady is asking for an escort to be able to go inside a public building and conduct her business. Something tells me she won't get either of the two LEOs at the scene to actually do as she ask's and escort her in to do her business.
Compared to most other LEO interaction videos that I see, yes these LEOs seem to be better than the norm, but are they really "good" officers? At the end of the day it is this straight forward: If what ever I am doing in public is 100% legal, then almost by definition it is illegal for anyone to use force to try and prevent me to continue to do what I am legally doing. Is that really a hard concept for an LEO to grasp? what about for a "good" officer?
Why does the lady have to wait for this "good leo" to convince the security guard before the lady can continue on with her day/business? Has anyone noticed how on these type of youtube videos, we always see LEOs acting TOTALLY different when they are dealing with other gov officials or with other large private company employees? The know the average "joe" doesn't have the money nor the connections to make a big fuzz, but with gov officials and large corporation employees they take a MUCH higher risk if they don't act "professional".
@@CancunManny He did say "unfortunately…" then corrected himself and said "NOT unfortunately…" in regards to not being able to remove her. I like that he caught that important wording.
@@I.____.....__...__ I did finish watching the video. My take, the LEO was well intention-ed, but showed his poor training.
Like I had assumed, NO ONE escorted the lady in, she had to wait around for the supervisor to show up and "confirm" her rights.
Also like I had assumed, the security guard did verbally threaten the lady in front of the LEO stating he would physically prevent her from going into the building. The lady was crystal clear, "I want an escort because I am afraid he will go hands on if I try to go in", then the security guard confirms he would go hands on if she tries to go in.
Why didn't the LEO tell security guard that a an LEO he would have to arrest HIM if he physically tries to prevent the lady from going in? Again is that too much to ask from an LEO? How about from a GOOD LEO?
Supervisor did arrive. In front of the supervisor twice the LEO said "if they city clerk asks her to leave, then she does have to leave". Would you say that is a correct statement? Can the city clerk really trespass whoever they want for no legal reason?

@u.s.inteconadvisorygrouplt2668 wrong
@u.s.inteconadvisorygrouplt2668 So, your point about being able to come into my house is just a false bit of poop.
My house is NOT public property.
The guard DOES have a duty to enforce the rules, but if you would have ACTUALLY WATCHED this video, you would have seen that the rules do NOT prohibit the womans' activities.
The constitution DOES ALLOW her to film in a public library, as long as SHE IS NOT disturbing others.
OTHER PEOPLE DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT to ask that they not be filmed in public!
Sorry. You are demonstrably wrong. Watch the end.
I do concede your point that she can sue, and if I were her, I would sue the ever living shit out of that county, and likely win, easily.
Prolly get a settlement right quick, just for the effort.
Still, the police were spot on.
And when the security guard phone-called for clarification, which he should have done earlier IMO, he would have been told the proper course of action.
If the County Clerk backed up the guard, THAT is grounds for a lawsuit by the woman.

To be fair he (the first cop) could have worded it better, a simple “rules don’t trump the law” would have sufficed, like the narrator said. The first cop wasn’t very articulate and you could tell the security guard didn’t get it. Security went too far, but he was really just trying to do his job, his supervisors probably for years that they had that kind of authority, which is why he was so stubbornly confident. That being said he should’ve went in and told them what was happening, but I don’t think he needed to lose his job.

Excellent audit! She found the problem and got it repaired.
And this, this right here is a prime example of why security guards get the crappy reputation regardless of what their particular assignment entails or what qualifications they may have. I wish that companies would do a better job of vetting potential hires for security guard positions.

That was even more the fault of the officer. We have seen them countless times bullying people, yet this officer was far beyond too polite. He didn't once try to assert himself in any meaningful way.
Then when his (very deservedly appointed) sergeant begun to speak to the security guard, all of a sudden Officer Evans decided he actually does have something to say, and starts to interrupt his sergeant who had everything important to say.
@@SurferchicusaTo be fair, after watching it all, I believe that he actually fervently believed that what he was saying was right and that it was necessary for the overall good.

@@Sionnach1601 fervently believed what he was saying, sure, but he's wrong. That doesn't give him the right to talk louder than everybody and be a bully. I'd rather have somebody who does their job politely, and isn't so full of ego that they go looking for arguments where they're not necessary. Security guards typically deter people from making poor choices simply because they know that there's more than just a camera on them there's somebody who's going to get Johnny Law down there PDQ.

This security guard is dangerous. Mark my words.
I was wondering why his hostility didn't paint him as a threat to officer safety especially with the gun on his hip and talking about "you won't back me here? You wanna cut me off at the knees?!"

That deputy was INSANELY patient. He should have stood up more for Constitutional rights, but that being said... *applause*
I honestly think he was trying to de-escalate the situation, yes he might have let the security guard talk on too much, but the guy was being outwardly aggressive and dismissive, no matter what the police officer said or did would have been paid attention to.
At all points he was calm, and didn't waver from his position, and in doing so DID stand up for constitutional rights, getting into an argument with the security guard could have had things get out of hand..
Especially if he isn't the best at debating a point, it could have ended up working against him as the other guy was obviously a good talker... Best to stay calm, keep doing what's right and wait until someone with more authority can come and lay down the law...
he could have, but I applaud him simply for one line he said while on the phone with his supervisor: "It's not the auditor that's the problem."
That was the most frustrating thing about this encounter.
It's not patience. It is not having a backbone. He should've shut him down immediatly, explained and told he's going to arrest him if he continues to harass or get physical with that woman who was doing nothing wrong.
I'm not sure if it was patience or if he just wasn't totally sure about the law and wanted to keep quiet instead of saying something wrong. That's the vibe I got.
It drives me crazy when people argue from a position of ignorance with so much conviction. You’re allowed to be wrong. Don’t be THIS type of wrong.
So true, being willing to be wrong doesn't reflect poorly on anybody. It only does when you refuse to be wrong.
