The good thing is you can do it with any building, 10 bakers working on a single one, or 10 woodcutter working on a single camp, less wood to spend, and more efficient because you can place that one building in the best place
Yeah, but it kinda didn't work with stone quarries. You can do it, but when the stockpile next to quarry is filled 9 workers in a single quarry wouldn't do more that 3 workers, becouse even if you use this glitch on the transport statiins, there will be more workers to 1 ox, so it is better to simply build more of it than use this glitch on it. But it works miracles with iron mines 4x production of iron and 4x transport of it is completely glorious, especially with the highest cruelty- 8 pieces per mine fantastic.

I've been using this bug exploit for fun because I have a sim city syndrome in literally every RTS games in single player. I feel like there is a special satisfactory for me in Stronghold game if I can build a kingdom with 1000+ population. It's also useful if you don't role play a tyrant to ensure your building keep working 100%. I mean, you need to fill the empty space if your co-worker is in holiday, right? It works for every buildings but there are several buildings that can't work as intended or don't even need to use this glitch. Some even have their own behaviors. Here's what I know. - Apple farm You've seen this video, so you now know how to do it. But some of you may already knew that there are 2 (not quite) annoying bugs. If apple farm is placed adjacent to the wall or tower, you may notice some of your apple farmer will climb those walls/towers only to pick apples from the tree that is at the edge of their farms. The simple solution is just don't glue them together. Another one is that sometimes your apple farmers prefer to pick apples from another apple farm away from their own farms even if it's owned by enemies. This can happen in a map with big grassland. - Bakery Technically, bakery can't use this glitch because unlike many production buildings, multiple workers don't work together in one building animation. Additional baker for each bakery will only reset its baking animation when there is a baker already present. So, if the animation is interrupted by another worker, the baking progress will be restart from beginning. Bakery won't make multiple workers bring finished breads at once. They will come out one by one after each of their baking progress is done. Once a worker finished, the second worker will start baking. That's why too many bakers in one bakery is really a bad idea. But you can still use this glitch only if the distance between bakery and stockpile and granary is quite far away and 2 workers for 1 building are more than enough. More than 2, your bakery will be stuck in never ending baking loop. Not to mention that without UCP, there is a bug where if the flour on the stockpile's tile is out, your bakers will disappear instead of finding flour on another tile, eliminating the additional workers. - Mill As you may already know. 3 workers per building. 2 workers will wait until 1 worker finished. Adding extra workers only make the waiting line longer. Just build another mill. But it's not really that bad to apply this exploit actually. - Iron production Because each iron mine requires 2 workers, each pause glitch will summon another 2 workers. One that does the smelting, and one that deliver iron. Yes, you can't make 2 of them as deliverers and additional smelter won't speed up your iron production.This means the other one only eats your population. But depends on the distance, it may worth. - Stone production The only thing you need to exploit is just the ox tether. The ox doesn't multiply but you have more stone deliverers for faster production. You may want to combo with stone teleport exploit too. - Dairy farm For cheese production, just like bakery. You can't do this. This will only add extra 3 cows for each exploit, but their numbers aren't permanent. They eventually go back to original 3 cows after additional cows are used for leather armor or disease attacks. Needles to say, the additional workers are just eating your population. - Weapon production (Edited) Only for leather armor you may don't want to use this unless you have a massive amount of cows. Also fletcher's workshop doesn't work as fast as other weapon productions, this is because they don't take one material before proceeding to the making. They seem work the same with woodcutter. The rests work like brewery. - Religion building and apothecary. 200 priests in one cathedral? Why not? Seems like a cult organizations. And 50 healers in one apothecary? They still don't work properly against diseases tho. But with UCP, "sometimes" they are indeed your best medic. - Well and water pot I don't really do this other than emergency recruits. But I did once in Extreme HD mission 8 because Marshall's base is always easily on fire. From what I observed, using this exploit on well or water pot sometimes will make your waterboys disappear once their fire destination is extinguished, but sometimes they do find another fire. I don't know much about this. Overall other buildings work as you've seen in this video.

@@MaxRavenclaw To be precise, nope. But you might consider having 2 bakers for perpetual loop. 1 baker is baking, while the other baker is delivering bread to granary and going to take flour. Of course the efficiency of this method depends on the distance between stockpile, bakery and granary.
@@LynSain One thing I see about Bakery is that it doesn't work not because the animation, but because the occasional disappearance glitch will eventually remove the extra bakers. (and the first one, necessitate replacement of the first baker) UTC doesn't fix this disappearance glitch by the way.
This also works with iron miners, except at some point they will start delivering iron without any cooldown. Works best if you delete your stockpile and place a new one directly next to your iron mines
Interesting. I never knew you could do this. Only cheat I knew about was stacking a bunch of troops in those tall sentinel towers that normally only hold 5 archers at a time, or that if you never enclose your keep you can basically create a long ass winding maze of walls that your opponent will always send their troops through instead of sending at any weak thin slice of wall
Unit camps need a multiple unit selector, where we could select how many multiples of units we want to produce, for example 1x, 2x, 4x, 16x and so forth. Maybe in eventual remaster it's possible :D

This should at least give them some vitamin and fiber, and hopefully raise their living standard a little. After all, lacks of them vitamin is the cause of so many diseases in Medieval time isn't it? PS. Wouldn't it be nice if that's a thing in-game?

After trying this glitch I recommend every to make a playthrough in vanilla mode (play as the game was intended) there you'll find the game more challenging :)

You can also use this glitch for the Iron Mines, thus getting a lot of Iron and Gold (when you sell them) However, the only disadvantage is that you will need a LOT of peasants.
OOT, but an important tips for building apple orchard Dont build many apple orchards in one go, but rather one or two at a time per seasons. Apple orcard produce apples on regular time cycle/seasons (fall > green > bloom > harvests/ripe) and always started with fall season. Meanwhile, your apple farmers can collect nearby apple orchard trees if its on harvest seasons (also apple trees have infinite apples on them as long as they're in ripe season, unlike other type of farms). Now, this tips is very important if you're going to use this glitch on your apple orchards. You can have only 4 of apple chard and still generates massive amount of apples by timing their seasons (make sure there's minimum of 1 orchard with ripe season every time).
Your units are on hold position by default (Q is the hotkey) which means they would stay where you ordered them to stay no matter what If you put them on defensive stance (W is the hotkey) they will start attacking units if enemy units get too close to them Aggressive stance is the same as defensive stance (E is the hotkey) but it has slightly more range, so they would start attacking enemy units even further
This is actually the first exploit I found with the game 2 decades ago, back then you didnt see videos about this game hahaha. I don't use the exploits at all anymore, but it's fun to know they exist. I mean if you beat the trail because you put ox tethers in front of every lords gate then you didnt even complete the trails, you simply cheated. You got nothing to boast about. Stronghold Crusader is a game meant to be unforgiving and harsh on you, cheating wins you no glory.
True. I beat every SC Extreme mission, but I have to admit some on lowest speed. Was still hard for me, lol. No rushing, no lumbercamp blocking, no worker cloning. After I found out about these, I played around with them tho, can be fun. I don't see how anyone beats some missions without at least one of these on high speed, lol

you can use it on Iron... Very much efficient..... the more close iron is to stockpile the more efficient... best workers to use it on 1. Iron (For Gold) 2. Apple (For Food) 3. Wheat Farm (Food) and Hops Farm (Gold) ( use it When you can't place Apple because of small grass area) and not pointing fingers or anything but you didn't click 1000 times , you Just held left click for Macro to work 😉
afaik it's always the same, but global and split equally among all remaining players. So The more players are in the game the lower the limit. eliminate someone, and everyone's army limit goes up. I just assumed it's to prevent overloading the simulation.
THIS GLITCH is good use in speed 20 or speed 90? click in ZzZ e pause and again use zzzand pause. OR WAIT 3 seconds and click zzz again? im curious sorry
In my experience in single player you just press it twice really fast , if you are lucky you send it in 1 game tick, if not you just lost the extra workers you made so far :)
Another glitch, before the limit you put peasant to sleep in any bulding. and klik on barack or marcenary and pause the game. And click the unit you like. And then unpause it.

High speed makes it go faster, you pause > click zzz twice > unpause and wait for the peasants to transform into workers > repeat

Another glitch, before the limit you put peasant to sleep in any bulding. and klik on barack or marcenary and pause the game. And click the unit you like. And then unpause it.

Not with the pause technique. But this trick also works on very slow game speed if you click fast enough if i can remember.

No, you can use it on any building. Weaponary, Stone, Iron, whatever. It just borderlibne breaks the game.
