I love the mutual respect as people and as actors that they clearly have for each other. Deborah comes across as a very special person, and their scenes on screen together are magic. Cannot wait to see them share the screen again!
Jon Bernthal does a great job in asking the right questions. Deborah Ann Woll is such a sweet soul. She comes across as such a genuine person and deserves to be a main character.
One of the best interviews I've ever seen. I've come back to it multiple times. I've always liked Deborah as an actress but now I just want to be best friends. We've never met but I just know that she gets me.
I think Deborah deserves an extra hug, it must be so hard to still have your life dominated by fear. I am so glad I was able to learn to not fear failure or doubt myself ... ever, makes life a bit easier and more positive. I feel women - on average - struggle with that significantly more.
You know, I've only ever seen Deborah Ann Woll in _Daredevil_ and _The Punisher_ (and I find Karen's interactions with Frank more compelling, somehow, than the ones with Matt), but I think that made her comments on sexisim all the more interesting to me. One of the simultaneously admirable and infuriating things about the character of Karen Page is her stubborn directness, which often spills over into recklessness. I've thought before that the same actions she undertakes would, in a male character, probably be seen as purely badass. Which is not to say that they're less badass in Karen, just that there's always this sort of "[indrawn breath] girl, be careful ... " sense when you see her acting instinctively, without calculation; I don't think that caveat would apply if it were a male character acting that way. Watching Deborah react to the question about sexism struck me in much the same way. As she said, it's not that she wouldn't ultimately act as she felt necessary in a given circumstance, but there's an awareness that _saying_ something directly, without wrapping it up in a more "tactful" and accommodating package, would likely cost her in a way that men don't necessarily have to consider. And, as she also says, it's not even that she's modifying her behavior as a pure result of sexist attitudes, she acts as she does because she's proud of who she is, and the care she takes with her expression is part of that. But I found that comparison between what I've seen in her _DD/Punisher_ character and her actual professional approach interesting. Great conversation, to both.

We need the Punisher back and shout out to Deborah for being great as Kratos’s wife 🫶

Just thinking about KASTLE makes me cry… it was perfection
Deborah is such a soft soul. it's awesome that she loves D&D and was able to walk Jon through micro campaign during another part of this interview.
I used to write and I seriously was my own worst critic. Artists are definitely a beautiful and challenging species. 😏🥰

Badass actress 🔥 when I see her, I laugh at the thought of her giving up her heels.
