i feel they did that with everyone though they were just like "Let keep all their personality but now they can cuss and make adult jokes"...which honestly sometimes that's all you need when doing a revival
Great to see Josh return to Nick in Season 2 of ICarly. Even he isn't the same without Drake,at least he's reunited with his little sister,Megan,who's now Carly.

The way this show has taken me from someone who didn't care about any romantic relationship in the OG to low-key shipping Carly and Freddie as adults is wild!
I genuinely don't care if they stay as great platonic friends or develop into something more, I just love seeing them on my screen together.
I bet the plot of episode 1 is Carly dumps BOTH Bo and Wes! And ends up dating freddie.
Edit: I was half right. She DID dump both of them but spoiler alert! Carly and Freddie were faking it. (Sorry for whoever didn't watch episode 1)
I did not have high hopes for this revival, but omg did it surprise me! Being a kid who grew up with iCarly, it’s so refreshing to see a network do a revival and be similar to the original material, while also adding more adult elements for those who are now grown up as well, and s2 looks soooo good I’m so excited

The characters are also much better in every way.
Usually a show losing a creator spells its doom, but in this case, losing Dan Schneider and his questionable sensibilities was a blessing
The second season as well as the first had me laughing so hard at times that I couldn’t breath. They’ve really done such an amazing job recreating the iconic show everyone grew up with. I can’t wait for the new season

This show made the best reboot I have every seen. Kept the essence of iCarly but brought the growth and adult humor like they grew up with us 🥺

S1 of this show was a surprise for me. I didn't expect to like it and ended up loving it so this is an automatic day 1 watch for me.

I think it's one of those I've always been in love with you but it was never the time yet. It needed to be mutual enough that they couldn't live without each other.

@@kristymichel792 I'm so excited for Creddie now that they are adults! I think both Seddie and Creddie in the original series weren't great. They were all still kids and figuring life out. But now! Oh my gosh now they have over a decade of trust, respect and friendship and it just feels like a great foundation to organically grow into an equal and supportive relationship

Like the squirt gun with suspicious liquids, locking spencer in the basement, camp add em up, stealing tv remotes. This will be very exciting to see what Chuck has up his sleeve but all grown up now!! Its going to feel like the old iCarly again with him in the show!!

I think carly is gonna lie about being in a relationship with freddie on icarly which explains why theres so many clips of them pretending to be a couple. That explains why they were hesitant to kiss each other when those creddie fans wanted them to. I hope eventually carly is the one that starts to crush on freddie and we see strong hints of it throughout the season. Then eventually Freddie finding out and feeling the same way. I do want them to become a actual couple since they never were in the orginal icarly. Not for one episode but throughout the series.

Wow, so many people from the original coming! Looks and feels like iCarly just now watching it as an adult. Hoping Gibby shows up as the surprise lawyer that wins the case for the iCarly gang. Also, as a huge Creddie fan I hope in the middle of them pretending for the fans they have a romcom moment where in the midst of pretending the real feelings come out. I feel like the most shocking thing in the trailer is seeing Mrs Benson wearing a Creddie top on. I thought she saw all woman as a threat to stealing Freddie from her especially Carly. I guess we shall see what changes. Looks exciting!

You see media for our parents where they reboot something they grew up with and they get to experience it in a modern lense and as someone who was born in 2001 it's an honor that it's now our turn to feel that kind of nostalgia with shows like Icarly. More childhood staples need to follow this shows recipe, old cast, more adult themes, and overall just here to have fun

I think the reason was because they wanted to explain what was happening to people that didn’t come back and was trying to get in the groove of things first and see where it goes and I think they finally found it
