I don’t know about anyone else, but I honestly feel like Mitch should be a motivation speaker/advocate, and a supports person for men who are struggling (for women too). The way you’ve opened up, been honest, not given blanket bullshit, bringing awareness etc. it’s amazing. Real talk.

Far out i would love for Chloe to make a video and explain how she copped with a boyfriend who would be a complete different person on weekends with drinks and drugs. How she always stuck by your side and helped you through this even though i feel like the person needs to want it for themselves and not because the partner wants them to stop. You’ve done a great job mitch you’re a champ.

Finally a young male influencer opening up. This kind of ‘socially accelerated’ drug use isn’t spoken about enough. I don’t know any guys under 25 who aren’t on the exact same cycle. Not one. Most hold down full time jobs and are considered ‘successful’ from good families etc but these insidious habits still take their toll, some take lives. Thank you for being honest, this is important.

There’s a huge amount of empowerment and strength coming from Mitch’s story and as much as I know it will help both males and females, I think there’s a lot of males out there that will benefit by watching this. It can be really difficult for men in general to speak up about their struggles and show some vulnerability BUT every time at least one male is able to this, it will hopefully motivate another to do the same. Thank you for using your platform to share stuff that will make a difference. You’re a bloody legend Mitch.

It’s the most rewarding feeling to be on the other side of it, and I couldn’t be prouder of you to have had the self awareness to kick those bad habits to the curve. Honestly Mitch this was so relatable having gone through a marijuana addiction and dropping out of school at year 10 to get high every day. That all started back in 2018. Now going on 4 months completely sober and about to start studying for my degree in film and TV at JMC Academy in Melbourne, you are completely right, once you stop your bad habits that are setting you back you start to feel more motivated to do the things you enjoys and start to achieve things in life. Very relatable and I think you did a smack bang perfect job at explaining your story to the world, encouraging others to do the same. Great job Mitch.

I can relate to this. I used to go out clubbing and drinking every weekend with people who were toxic and did not care at all. It wasn’t until I met my partner and he said I bet your can’t go sober for month that I realised how good I felt and began to reconnect with myself, as well as have quality over quantity of people in my life. It feels amazing! Congratulations to you on your journey this far! This is such a good story and lessons to communicate to your children. This video has inspired me to go on my own journey of giving something up that brings so much pain to my life! Not drugs/alcohol related but food related. I’m over hugging the toilet bowl every single time I eat junk food yet I keep doing it to myself because it gives me 5 minutes of ‘happiness’, then I spend all night in absolute pain. Time to change!

I now eat super clean, train 5 times a week, live for lifting weights and see a physiologist once a month. Have never felt happier and as positive as I do now. I have a few drinks on the occasional weekend but I don't feel the need to get on the drugs and get absolutely wrecked every weekend. Love this!

Hi Mitch I wanted to say how happy I am for you for doing this! As a spiritual person I just wanted to share to you, that in Buddhism we have 5 precepts that the Buddha advised his disciples to observe everyday one of them being 'abstaining from taking intoxicating drinks and drugs'. The other 4 precepts are abstaining from killing beings, tellings lies, stealing and sexual misconduct. The Buddha said that one who protects these precepts for the rest of their life will be happy in this life and the next. Because a person gains immense merit when he observes this precepts as they protects themselves from doing any wrong by body, speech and mind that will harm themselves and others. I wanted to tell you not because i want you to observe the other 4 precepts but to tell you, that you are a wise person to realise for yourself what is good for you, when people like me need guidance of a Supreme being like the Buddha to guide us from wrong to right:) Take care you both xx

This video is so inspiring! I struggle with mental health and sometimes find it hard to stick to routines and positive thinking and coping mechanisms. I am still young so still trying to figure out where I’m heading in life and what my triggers are ect. You and Chloe are so inspiring I love watching you guys. You’ve given so much great advice and wisdom to so many people out there. You guys are awesome and are doing such a great job. You should be proud of yourselves x

Well said mate, so proud of you. I just wanted to add a few more words to potentially make improvements to life a bit easier: take small steps. If they still feel too big and demotivating, make them even smaller until you can manage to take action.

I'd really love to see a video from Chloe or a close friend, explaining how they sort of dealt with it or more so helped you while you were helping yourself...
My best friend has an ice addiction and I would really love to know how I could possibly help her as its gotten to a point where if she is doing drugs she just won't speak to me until she is clean again... She's moved in with me now, somewhat at her mothers request as she lives in a different state. I'd love to be able to help her because she is in a place now where she is REALLY wanting to help herself and not do this for her friends or family!
i'd love to message with Chloe if she ever has some time :) xx

This was amazing Mitch. I’m not somebody that drinks or uses drugs but I definitely have my bad habits. I’m a pretty stubborn person most times but this definitely made me think. Thank you for being so vulnerable and teaching so many of us some true life lessons.
