I’vs read a lot of different manga, but this arc has the most insanely well written villains I’ve seen in the medium. Zeref, [REDACTED], [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] really hit the heart you know.

People think pf shounen protagonists as cinnamon rolls that would never actually kill someone. This is wrong. Most of them just wont go out of their way to kill you once youre down,and noone exemplifies this bettee than natsu, who set a phantom lord guy on fire to findout where lucy was qnd just cremated most of a platoon r whatever of soldiers
I believe Natsu's flame he got from Igneel burns the curse of Zeref too. Noone and I mean Noone can touch Zeref. Its instant death. Its like radiation in 100% instant death if touched or even near him. The fact Natsu can do multiple hits on Zeref without dying mostly coz Zeref created him to kill Zeref also the fire of Igneel protects natsu from any magic, any curse just burns it all away. So I think Natsu's flame he got from Igneel is burning the curse of Zeref, preventing it from killing Natsu. That show how ridiculous powerful fire magic can be. If you master fire you can burn almost anything even death. Its like when Natsu faced Master Zero he just burns his magic away. And we also seen Atlas Flame is not effected by any magic as his hell fire is burning all magic away too.
12:30 if only they kept the fights like this and if Hiro didnt rush to end teh season this season would have been filled with greatness a perfect season the start very good ! but in the mid some great moments and end great moments but that fight at the end very disappointing when this fight is better
